Then asked for an additional $150 to dump. When challenged they said they were going to warehouse the sofa, but we could go to the dump to pay the disposal fee, probably betting we would cave in. We decided to go to the dump to see the real cost. Based on weight $10 was the cost of disposal. Of course, the pick-up immediately changed to an hourly rate to include trip to the dump. The advertised Richland Land Fill rate is $10 per load up to 1200#, surely this outfit knows this. They advertise "Veteran Owned"; with claims like that I'd expect straight shooters. As a disabled veteran, I don't expect special treatment just fair; honor stated quotes. Edited: Received phone call from vendor who was somewhat upset over the above review. A veteran's discount was then offered but not accepted, again not looking for special treatment. If real, discounts should be advertised or offered at time of job request. Edited review to remove text that bothered them. Of course, my "claim" to be a disabled veteran was questioned...real class act. DD-214 and VA disability classification available upon request. I'll be gone in a couple years so my concern for their feelings is rapidly fading.

My sister was just interviewed by Drew the owner for a bookkeeping position. She entered the building excited at the prospect and exited in tears. She immediately told me "The 40 minutes with Drew, which should have been used to discuss my professional career and qualifications for the job, was instead spent with me listening to a litany of employment bias towards single mothers whose children are born on Medicaid, those he deems inadequate due to their breaks from traditional values, his thoughts on parentage and associated negative outcomes, and liberals who are ruining the country". Little did he know during his rant that my sister is indeed a single mother Who can't afford anything other than state insurance for her daughter. Little does he know she never planned it to be a single parent. Little does he know that she works hard to provide for that little girl and doesn't need people putting her down for it. Please consider whether you really would want to work for a man that feels he can use an interview as a platform for vomiting his opinions and narrowminded views. Please consider if you would want to give them your money much less trust them with your prized possessions. I know for me I will not and I will keep all of my friends from making that mistake too read more

I was going to go 4 star, but seeing a couple of the other entries that have nothing to do with storage I want to give some props to a very good business. We enjoy our units. They are warm in the winter and cool in the summer. They are fairly priced. The hours are strictly daytime, and that is good in that the chance of mischief or theft are reduced nicely. We have a small house and Storageland helps us store things for the "off" season. Opinions are like noses. Everybody has one! read more
