When we moved into our new house a year ago, one of the small bedrooms became my office. It had…read morethree bookcases, a large desk, a file cabinet and a bench. It also had 35 boxes from the move--mostly papers and craft supplies, some books and pictures and a couple of boxes of knick-knacks. Did I say it was a very small bedroom? It was stuffed. I fitted out the closet with shelves and shoved most of the boxes there. I bought a couple of packs of cheap cardboard magazine holders and started sorting and purging the boxes of papers. It was mind-numbing. After a year I was left with about 13 boxes of stuff and decided I didn't want to take another year to go through them. I also didn't want to store boxes in the garage. Everything I had needed to have a place and purpose. Lori came to give me an estimated and told me that we could get a lot done in 5 hours. The next Sunday, we went to work. We went through all the boxes and she organized them into the closet shelves. Working with Lori was great. It's like having your best friend help you. But this is your organized, non-judgmental, hard-working friend who knows just how to tackle the job efficiently with a plan and common sense. She even brought her own dusting cloth and spray to wipe down all surfaces. By the end of the session, we got rid of one bookcase, which she moved to the garage. She also put the recyclables in the bin and took away the items to donate. The following Sunday, we tackled the file cabinet and papers. This was the most difficult part for me, and Lori helped me to decide what to purge and what to keep. At the end of around 8 hours, another bookshelf was gone, too. She rearranged the room to be much more peaceful. I still have some of the magazine holders and a couple of boxes to sort and purge, but now there's a place for what I want to keep. Current files are easily accessible in the file cabinet. The desk is clear, and everything else has a home. It's amazing timing. The next week, my company required us to work from home because of the coronavirus. Without the transformation, it would have been additional stress working in the clutter. Instead, thanks to Lori, I can be productive and even enjoy working in my new office.

We had a large amount of carpet to remove and wanted hardwood in its place. In addition we were trying to come close to an existing wood installed 7 years ago. Steve was so patient, he took a sample of our existing floor and searched till he was able to provide us two choices. The price was outstanding for the amount of work involved. Luis and Carlos installed our flooring, these guys were so professional. The quality of work was amazing. We have no transition strips in our house (no trip hazards ). They were able to make perfect cuts from the wood to the existing tile in the bathrooms and around the fireplace. Everyday I came home from work they left the house clean and functional. They took care moving our furniture. Our walls have rounded corners so putting the base boards back looked ominous to me, but they were experts and put it back better than the builder in some areas. This time I went with Gary's Floors who we used years ago to install hardwood flooring in our loft, stairway and master bedroom. We were more than pleased with our first experience with them and once again, Gary's Floors did an awesome job. The carpeting is absolutely beautiful and Gary's customer service was outstanding. I could kick myself for going with someone else months ago, but live and learn. If you're in the market for new flooring, choose Gary's and by all means avoid dealing with surly Kip at Spencer's Flooring.

She arrived as promised (thankful). Then it went bad. This was a move out clean for the sale of the house! We wanted a complete clean and made that known. My wife spent two days cleaning everything they missed. When she brought it up to Margarita, it was excuses. To late for her to come back and fix things, as we already had stagers coming in. That was our fault. My wife posted a review, and all Margarita could do was to suggest that when it came time to pay, we complained. Not true. We paid the bill, and would have paid twice the price if it was cleaned as requested. Having people come in and swish a mop around, missing baseboards, window sills, toilets, and a shower or two is not move out cleaning. Very dis-satisfied. I have a property management company and rentals in the area, and will try my luck with another company that does not offer excuses for poor work. Beware! Very sad, expected more.

Dear Margarita, Your implication that I did not want to…read morepay for the service is incorrect. I have no issue paying for the service that I expected. My complaints to you were before having seen your invoice. You're cleaning crew did not accomplish that task they were hired to do. Must I restate that the base boards were not touched, nor was the downstairs shower. The switch plates not cleaned. And the toilets not cleaned either. And let's not again discuss the method your cleaning crew used to clean my floors. It is never okay to mop a floor without first sweeping or vacuuming it. Pushing mud over a hard surface is now way to clean the floors. Based on many of the reviews you have, this is not an uncommon practice. And based on my experience with you when we spoke on the phone and your ill attempt at diverting the issues tells me you are not in touch with your customers. I wonder if you felt there was no loss of repeat business since this was a move out clean. People out there looking for a good house cleaner....keep looking. This is NOT the place to call. NONE of them were at our homes longer than 90 minutes. He works for 6 or more hours on the carpet. He just came and cleaned our carpets in our Ceres home. Again he spent 6 hours restoring my carpet and only charged us $500. People need to know how much better a service they will receive through Quinton Carpet Cleaning. He stopped by and took a look at my yard and gave me a quote soon after. I waited a couple of weeks and gave him a call and I was expecting that we would schedule something for next week but nope, he was able to come out the same day later in the afternoon and get some of the yard completed. He will be back today (3/27/20) to complete the yard and I asked him about bi-weekly yard upkeep and he said he's able to do that also. The price he quoted me for the one time yard clean up was reasonable and his price for the bi-weekly yard upkeep was also reasonable. We chatted for a bit before he started on the yard and he's a very stand up guy and personable.
