Besides coffee, they have wine, beer, pop, and kambucha. I got the masala chai, which was nice and not overly sweet. For meal I got the hippie ki yay, and I enjoyed that flatbread, it is vegan. The spinach dip is also good but different than what you'd expect. It is not too creamy and has a little tangy taste. But I liked that a lot, so I enjoyed it. The ambiance is lively and energetic. There's a lot of seating available, and different types including a massive couch. It is noisy in there with everyone talking, but I dont think its too bad if you want to study there. They do have a stage where they have bands perform, they also have trivia nights. I hope to check out one of the trivia nights. There is a decent size parking lot in the back. This parking lot was filled on a Tuesday night, so its definitely a spot to go and check out. This is one of the best places I have been to in GR! Highly recommend it!!

I live for fun specialty matcha and while they did have one on the menu, the pine flavors weren't appealing to me. Surprisingly, the real star of the show was the bagel. Not the avocado spread that was on it, that just tasted like that overly acidic stuff you get in the little cups, but the bagel itself was amazing. It was chewy but not tough to chew. I loved its soft doughy texture. They also had some vegan treats available that i'd love to try next time. The matcha was good but not my top pick in GR but that bagel would definitely bring me back.

The Big Bean developed a love for coffee during late night study sessions while in college. I totally relate as college was when I acquired a taste for the drink (except it was before early morning lab). Anyways, this eventually led to him pursuing a master's thesis on the emerging specialty coffee industry. All this was over twenty-five years ago and since then his company has become one of the leading private label coffee suppliers in the country. I've never heard of the company, but I spotted the Rainforest Blend on sale at my local Meijer and decided to give it a chance. The metallic purple packaging and tropical theme were what initially drew me in. I thought the grounds had a fantastic aroma, but the brewed coffee was overall somewhat bland. Who knows, maybe I just got a bad bag? I'll be sticking to my regular brands though as the Rainforest Blend was just okay.
