This UPS Store is exceptionally well managed. The staff are professional yet genuinely warm --…read moreefficient, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to deal with. The franchise owners (M. et al.) are the real secret sauce behind the operation. Compare that to the company-owned FedEx store on 4th Ave -- considerably larger footprint, almost certainly higher rent -- and you have to wonder how they compete on the retail side of things. Bottom line: I'll happily walk two extra blocks for this UPS Store every time.

However, recently, I stopped by the location at 9AM since that's when it is open according to Google. They updated their opening times to 10AM instead once I arrived. Ok, no biggie, this is not their fault that Google was not updated. However, I came back at 10AM and it still wasn't open. I waited outside for about 10 minutes and no one ever came. Door was locked, lights off, nobody in sight. This was pretty irritating as I remember that I waited for them a year ago around 9AM for a few minutes until someone finally came out to unlock the door around 9:20AM. Just make the opening hours 10:30AM or 11AM instead if ya'll aren't going to be on time. I can understand 5 minutes or so but in customer service, I was hoping it would have been better. Everyone's time is valuable.
