I was fine with that...support small business; however after my teenager daughter decided to change her mind and opt not to have a party here that is where the trouble began. At first Maura tells me its no problem, lets just move the money to August for my husband's birthday and they would retain 25%. All along I have nothing in writing stating what their policies are nor do I have a SIGNED CONTRACT obligating me to do anything. Sad what you get when you try to support "your people''. Five minutes later, she calls me back to say ''oh we cannot refund your credit card"....say what? You had no problem charging it. I told her I guess it boiled down to her not wanting to eat that fee. In any event, after she MAILS me a handwritten "business" check I proceeded to take it to HYPERION BANK (should be more aptly named HOOD BANK" they refused to cash the check because I was not an account holder. I told the branch manager it was a great way to NOT earn customers. Besides how many branches could they actually have. Not to worry, HOOD BANK will get a review too--my yelpers beware. So after my conversation with Maura today where she tries to snicker and make side marks I told her she needed to check her tone. She's telling me she's not making special exceptions for me, and she went out of her way just to do that. That her accountant gets confused when dates change-- makes you wonder who they have working their in the first place. Really it was more of an inconvenience than anything. I should have gone with my first instinct and found something else--live and learn. It seems like organizational issues are at play...someones feeding her bullshit in the back ground and she's trying to spit that shit up on me. Not hap'n cap'n! But, How do you not know what your banks terms are? She said ''NO BANK CASHES CHECKS FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT CUSTOMERS'' Sounds like she needs a lesson in banking. For the record Maura since I could not get two words in edge wise, any bank that a check is drawn on will cash it-except for the hood bank you all deal with. Granted they make take a small fee but that is fine but for you to make up these "facts" as you go along are preposterous! So after back and forth of arguing with her about how she's doing me some type of favor, she folded and is putting the other half of my 1k down payment in the mail. Now I have two bullshit checks! Yay! Bottom line: DONT SIGN SHIT! Make sure they get it right and all the details are worked out before you book anything here, better yet find another spot.

There's a huge free parking lot right across the street as well, so you don't have to worry about where you're going to find parking or if you'll have to walk 3 miles to get there.
