I'm stunned at the one star reviews here, as I had the opposite experience yesterday. They took my Kaiser Medicare insurance and charged me $40 copay. I was in and out in about 90 minutes with no appointnent. My condition was diagnosed and my prescriptions sent to Kaiser in the 90 minutes. By the time I got to Kaiser, the prescriptions were ready for pickup. My primary care physician's office called to schedule an appointment sometime in the next 24 hours as the urgent care nurse practitioner was examining me. I have no complaints. I'm surprised the reviews are either 5 star or 1 star. Nothing in-between really. What's that all about? I was treated well all around and feel like my medical needs are safely taken care of. For myself who didn't have medical insurance they're so very helpful on giving what options you have instead of making it seem like if we're a lower class couple. Worst place for urgent care, there is no doctors upon arrival, they were doing tele- consultation, I been told $ 125.00 and at the end $175.00 fo the covid test, which come up negative, then they want to do a imfluenza test they were asking for an other $175.00 come up negative but my sore thoat is there, then the doctor said that all this sore throat is caused by allergies and the nurse were asking me for an other $ 100.00 for a "allergy shoot" wat a rip off... when even I didn't see the doctors face. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. If you want to be BELITTLED BY A SLOPPY MESS of a nurse practitioner be sure to go here. I've used this urgent care several times in the past with excellent results...but were always seen by an NP. Fast, quick, easy and professional. Not cheap but decent care. Today when I went there with my stepson for a standard Covid test there was an exceptionally rude (but kind of standard for this area) Middle-Eastern Male "tech" wearing PPE that has no business in any sort of care for humans or animals. Just an incredibly nasty human being. When you have a 7yr old whos already nervous about getting a COVID test and when you show up it's a 30min wait, 200 bucks and a really unprofessional and downright juvenile idiot in shitty PPE? C'mon folks. I would not recommend this facility to any creature with a pulse due to this staff member. Which is a shame, because I think about the other people working there. The girls behind the desk were nice, but obviously scared of the janitor or whomever he was. While I was walking out after declining their services, the male was yelling from behind the desk "BYE" Think about that for a second. Again, this is one person in their facility. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Hire some better people if you don't want bad reviews. I've had 2 good experiences here prior so to the "business manager" below, your girls were excellent. I called and made an appointment and was told i could be seen with my insurance. Once i got there i started to fill out paperwork and was told i cannot be seen unless i pay because they do not take my insurance. I went on my lunch and wasted my lunch break. I'm having a serious problem and the front desk lady was not kind at all. She had all types of attitude. I'm a cma and as a part of the healthcare system she did not make the experience any better and she was not any help. My friend went through this too and we have the most common insurances. Be careful when making an appointment and be expected to deal with rude staff. read more

My mother went in today with my brother for an urgent care visit. Shes taken my siblings to this place several times and every single time the front desk is rude and disrespectful. We know that some of the front desk staff speak Spanish and refused to help her in Spanish. My mother understands some English and can speak a little but clearly she's more comfortable in Spanish. I don't understand the purpose of making someone who's worried about their child uncomfortable. I do not recommend this place. read more

Was seen on 8/21/21...The nurse practitioner I saw was very professional, had good bedside manner and was knowledgeable ... After waiting for over 1.5 hours to see her, when there was only one patient in front of me,    another patient came in w/o an appointment for a sports physical, and they treated that patient before me... After seeing the nurse practitioner I was given a pain/anti inflammation shot and I was prescribed a script for a pain patch... I verified my pharmacy in writing, with the nurse practitioner and one of the girls at the front desk... a couple of hours later I had my relative go to pick up the script, because I was unable to do to severe back spasms and the fact that  I could barely walk ( Thus why I went to urgent care in the first place)  ... and the pharmacy had no record of the prescription!!! So I called and left a voice mail for someone to call me back from 209 urgent care... I was called back at 9:42 AM on 8/22/21 and the girl from 209 urgent care stated  that they had called my prescription in to walgreens instead of walmart...(This is after I verified my pharmacy in triplicate prior to leaving 209 urgent care on 8/21/21!) I once again verified  my pharmacy with the girl from 209 urgent care and was advised that they would call the prescription in immediately... At approximately 1255 pm, 3 hours after I was contacted by 209 urgent care, I went to pick up my prescription, and the pharmacy once again had no record of it... I then called 209 urgent care back to advise them of the issue, and they first advised me that they had tried to call and couldn't get through ( which I was able to call in and get right to the pharmacy) ... I then asked to speak with the office manager and  the girl from 209 healthcare advised me that the office manager was not there... then the girl from 209 urgent care advised me that they were on hold with someone in the pharmacy... I then advised them that I was at the pharmacy, with the entire pharmacy staff, and no one was on the phone or on hold and asked them to verify the pharmacy phone number, which they failed to do! So I was being blatantly lied to over the phone!!!  The only thing that was good about 209 urgent care was the nurse practitioner who saw me and the medical assistant who gave me the shot... The other office staff seemed more pre-occupied with looking at their phones and joking around in the office than they did with providing me  with medical care...The office staff was rude on the phone, and was rude with meeting and greeting me as a patient. The office staff proved to be completely INEPT in the simple task of calling or faxing in a prescription after it was verified 4 different times. And the office staff blatantly lied about being on hold with a representative from the Pharmacy... I will be contacting my insurance  carrier as well as the state medical board to file formal complaints about the issues mentioned above, and would highly advise anyone considering this place for urgent health concerns to steer their car and themselves elsewhere! read more

Went in for a seriously messed up ankle on September 10. Saw what I assume was a nurse practitioner (did not introduce herself, so she could have been anyone) who gave very cursory glance at it and told me to take Advil and come back in 2 days. For an additional $6 they provided a cheap ace bandage and ice pack. Today is November 25, and I received an explanation of benefits from my insurance. I did not see a doctor, I did not have a proper examination, I did not have x-rays. They have billed my insurance $360, claiming I was seen by a Dr. Mattu, who supposedly provided "4 professional services." Apparently, taking blood pressure and applying an ace bandage is billable as 4 services for $360. As Dr. Mattu is a cardiologist, I can't imagine what use he would have been even if I had seen him. I'll be calling my insurance company on Monday to look into this scam. read more

Would give less than one star if I could. Worst MD I have ever been seen by. I went in for debris under my eyelid, told her it had happened before and asked her to help get it out and what needed to be done. She only had me pull my lower lid and only looked there. Never even tried to cleanse much less even look under upper lid. Gave me excuses about they don't have equipment or supplies for that, gave me a Rx for eyedrops . I went to Walgreens, bought a bottle eye wash saline with an eye cup and had it cleaned out in 5 seconds. read more

Staff was very friendly and genuinely concerned for my well being. The Dr was in to see me very quickly and was also nice and took his time to examine me and not make me feel rushed. I was called back within 5 minutes of checking in and on my way home in about 20. I had severe left arm pain and was scared it might be something serious and didn't want to sit for 8 hours at Doctors or Memorial. I definitely made the right decision choosing this place! read more

Horrible experience from beginning to end. They didn't accept my insurance so I paid $125.00 . I wasn't able to go in so all forms were sent via text . I waited almost 2 hours in my car for the doctor. I had to call 4 times to finally get the doctor to connect. Doctor did not listen to my explanation of how I was feeling, he more interested in me getting tested for Covid. I finally called my pharmacy 3 hours after leaving and they never received my prescription. After another phone call to urgent care I found out that they called it to the wrong pharmacy. Claudia was going to call my preferred pharmacy immediately to get it moved but she never this. After calling my pharmacy again and once again the urgent care to confront her as to why she never called I was able to get my medication . 6 hours later, feeling sicker than I was at 11am . Nobody is accountable there. They said they were really busy but this is no way to run a business whose primary goal is to care for patients. I would never recommend this urgent care , they are incompetent and don't flow through on anything! read more

Do not go here. I've used 209 UC a few times without any problems. It's always been $125 to see the doctor. This last time I came in for a back sprain and was asked about insurance. I gave them my info, they ran it as usual, and said it'll be $125 because your deductible was not met. No biggy right, I knew what the charge was. Paid it, good experience with the doctor. Two weeks later I found out they charged my insurance anyway 350 bucks. (double billed my insurance) I, of course called the office and they said they would fix it. YEA BY TURNING ME INTO COLLECTIONS! of course I paid it (a lot of money for a prescription of ibuprofen).... Do not use them, the billing department and office personnel are incompetent. I came here because my doctors weren't open and they claim they don't close til 5pm so i got here at 4:30 pm right when i got off work and there was four people there they lady that helped me told me that they close soon and don't know if they can get me before 5pm yet i called earlier and one of the ladies told me that if i'm here before 5 i can be seen. this lady was so rude and i she ended up locking the doors at 4:40pm so nobody else could come inside if you don't close af 5pm don't say you close at 5pm that's pretty messed up to people who work and need to be seen & don't have enough time! I have never left a review of anyplace before!! My experience today was a WOW factor, I came in and had to receive stitch's , the female dr was nice , the staff was nice , but they definitely seemed like they did not get along , kinda puts ya feeling out of place !!! So to the major joke of unprofessional!! I was told antibiotics and pain meds sent to the pharmacy at Kaiser , would take like a hour , so I live opposite direction so I headed to the pharmacy to wait . When I got to pharmacy they said no prescription yet , like the great people of the pharmacy are , they guy took it upon himself to call the urgent care , they told him it was phoned in and may take awhile, so I hung out in the area for two hours . No prescription, so after calling the urgent care numerous times a lady finally answered, she said it can take awhile. So I asked if she could change it to turlock where I live cause I was in major pain and wanted to go home . She said ok and asked where I would like , so I told her . Then I asked what it was so I knew what I was picking up!! She said no problem can you hold while I look it up!! I was on hold for a few minutes and then she came back on . She said the dr never sent a prescription!!!!! I was like WTF , I told her I had been setting at the damn pharmacy that whole time waiting cause that's what they told means told the pharmacist and she was going to transfer it to turlock !!!! She said oh sorry about that !!!!! You have got to be frickin kidding me !!!! I have now put a call into my primary dr , I will let them tell me what to do , I do not want to go back here !!!!! Then they have some random physician fill out paperwork and it wasn't even the physician who seen me. They should do COVID test on the workers because they were all coughing and looked sick. Worse urgent care ever! I went here because I had a lot of pain and I couldn't be seen at my physicians office at Kaiser because he was all booked out. I read on their website that they accept Kaiser insurance. I went in paid a really high copay which I was willing to do because I was in a lot of pain. The doctor came in and recommended an ultrasound which was labeled "stat". They told me I could take the imaging request paper to precision imaging in modesto and get it done. I went there and the facility told me they do not accept Kaiser insurance and they werent sure why the urgent care sent me there . I contacted the urgent care and the front desk girl checked and told me to take the documents to Kaiser and they would be able to help. I drove all the way to kaiser to be told that they can not accepted the imaging documents there and they were not sure why the urgent care referred me there. I Called the urgent care back again. The front desk girl placed me on hold to check few things, came back and told me "oohhh sorry , not sure why they are not accepting it,but just go see your doctor at Kaiser ".. so unprofessional for not having the knowledge of knowing where to send individuals with kaiser insurance for imaging , yet stating on their website that they accept Kaiser insurance. If you are willing to see individual with kaiser insurance and charge them a copay, it would be nice to know where to refer them for imaging. You can not have a patient who paid a copay to be seen and need to get imaging done drive around and have no answer for him/her as far as where to go to get a "stat" imaging that was ordered by a doctor at your facility! read more

This clinic sucks ass. Do not ever come to this clinic in Modesto they don't give a crap about you. I went in for an issue and they refused to give me medication for a yeast infection, they gave me some medicines that they said they wouldn't prescribe that I had to go buy them and I'm on medical my primary care didn't have any appointments soon for me to get the medicine they can refill for me easily so I went to this place to seek help and they only prescribed me stuff that that I had to actually bye myself which makes it very difficult because they don't have to do that. I'm highly upset I got no suggestions besides keep it dry what the hell and what kind of panties do you wear Jesus I'm very unhappy and I'm in so much pain I received nothing for like you know the itch that comes with a yeast infection and it just made it a living hell I felt like I just didn't get the help I needed. The doctor who treated me not only did a thorough checkup, but also explained everything he was doing and seeing along the way. He seemed genuinely focused on my wellbeing. Do not go here unless you want to be ripped off. I had to have a COVID test performed and I was quoted $300 flat out the door. Then 2 months later I get a bill saying I owe another $135 because apparently they try to bill insurance for some of the cost, but don't say that outright. When insurance does not cover (which most don't) they just send you a bill in the mail with no explanation and numbers that don't even add up to the amount I was billed. I called and talked to their billing company and they agreed that it sounded like it was misrepresented to me and that I should dispute the claim with 209 Urgent Care. When I called, the lady I spoke to simply read off a statement on one of the many pieces of paper that were placed in front of me while they were rushing through to get as many tests done as possible on people. She could care less about the fact that I was told $300 was the cost and nothing further was stated. All she said was "well when I am here I make sure that is explained". Okay, well how about a day that you are not there?!? Shouldn't all of the staff be forward and transparent about information like that? She was completely unhelpful and unwilling to try to make anything right with a customer, despite agreeing that information should be provided to a patient. Staff is awesome. The doctor was great. Super helpful. I had called my son's PCP but apparently they were taking new patients(totally doesn't make sense but whatever). So I called the insurance and they advised to come the urgent care. It was nice to have a facility that has pleasant staff. Before you go VERIFY IF YOUR INSURANCE IS ACCEPTED. Their website listed that they accept my insurance provider. After completing all the paperwork and waiting I was informed that they have not yet been approved by my provider to accept my insurance (ownership had changed in March 2018) however they could still see me and I could pay full price for the office visit. Very frustrating to be feeling bad and finding out that you have to figure out somewhere else to go and start over again.
