Very disappointing experience. I was assisted by MA Luz, and I felt the interaction was rude and dismissive. When I tried explaining the information I was given, I was brushed off instead of listened to or helped. A simple clarification could have prevented the issue and an unnecessary second trip. This place sucks, appointment times mean nothing. They'll make you wait in the lobby for hours at a time. Then when they finally call your name, they take you to a room, where you guessed it, you get to wait for another half hour before the doctor comes in for 5 minutes then leaves. The care here is a joke this are not real doctors they had a Nurse practitioner and a physician assistant only. Dorothy Smith NP saw me and as soon as she walked in she said I'm releasing you to your doctor this is not work related and when I said really so she goes to bring me an AMA book which who knows what edition it is and says see carpal tunnel is not work related because of some study but when she continued to read where it said it can be genetic, obesity, or diabetes which I told her I have non of those and it also stated it is not related to typing which ok that was not my main complaint and I let her know she immediately closed her book or manual and said I'm releasing you to your doctor although she admitted that carpal tunnel is so painful and I said your sending me with this pain she said yes just take Tylenol. This people are endangering lives with their negligence in my type of work if my hands don't function a life can be lost as I provide life support to patients. read more

I came here for a physical for work something that usually shouldn't take too long, I've been here for 5 hours and counting !!!! I got here at 9:40am and it's past 2:00pm and I'm still waiting to be seen at first, I was waiting for two hours and they pulled me back and took my vitals and then said it's gonna be an additional 45 minute wait for a room which have to be an additional hour plus just to get a room they sent me back in a room and I've been here for almost 2 hours have not been seen or seen anyone to find out. It's one thing to be behind, and it's another to be waiting as long as we have. Got a phone call from a staff member stating we were next at approx 12pm. It is currently 1:10pm. and still waiting in the waiting room. The wait is so long - even for a prescheduled appointment - that I could go to the DMV and back and still be waiting to be called. Last Tuesday , Was a follow-up at Concentra,, Modesto, CA. I saw N.P. Dorothy Smith for the first time. I waited 45 minutes in a hot room, Finally I met Nurse Smith, she seemed unaware of my case. Her attitude was harsh, and after another 30 min alone at same room. She came with returning to work immediately after only one month of my spine surgery, despite my surgeon's note advising of no work until full recovery. Even sitting causes pain, but my concerns were dismissed. It seems they prioritize pleasing insurance over my recovery even my claim adjuster didn't like me to back to work now . It is my second spinal surgery due to work issues, and I'm committed to my full recovery. read more

The staff here is so friendly. I think it was Alex that brought me back. She was very pleasant to talk to. Prior to the Dr's arrival to my exam room, I heard a knock on the door, a young lady had a basket with water and snacks and asked if I would like anything. Have never had that happen at a Dr appointment. I saw Dr Uraizee. He was fantastic. Pleasant, friendly, extremely professional and knowledgeable. I have only had to come here a few times for work related check ups. I've usually had to wait several hours to be seen, but its to be expected since I have always been a walk-in and never made an appointment. Once you are being seen they are pretty fast and efficient, the staff has always been nice and professional. Never had any problems here, if my job keeps sending me here, I will know exactly what to expect so I plan my day accordingly. read more

I saw Dorothy smith after never seeing her once in the whole time I've been getting treatment and I have been going to concentra for a while . I got an mri because I was not progressing from the pooor chiropractor and I felt it was getting worse , then went to physical therapy and still didn't improve , I have been leave and every time I've come in I have been treated like I'm faking my injury , I finally got an MRI & have bulging and protruding discs and yesterday Dorothy smith tried to accuse me of faking my injury then asked if I had an mri and went to look after 10 min comes back and tells me my injury is not from Tesla and I have arthritis which is not related to bulging discs and tells me that bulging discs happen over years which is not true . Several other doctors confirmed it can happen over a few weeks . And she lied and released me with no restrictions and cancelled appointments and told me to leave . Obviously was being paid to lie to me and gaslight my pain and injury . Also pulled in a manager to tell me this . This is the worst most unprofessional place I've ever went to , no wonder they have 1.5 stars . And now I will not be getting paid while I wait to be seen by my doctor and I can't afford it because I'm Not getting paid . Staff is very kind, I look at a lot of the reviews and I think it might just be old people getting angry about everything. I went in for a TB test once Friday and spent 26 mins in the office with 6 people ahead of me so I was in in out pretty quickly. I was then in this Monday for them to give me the okay and was quite literally out in a minute. Spent less than half an hour there in total. Like I said it's the old people that show up after work to this office and complain that it's busy during rush hour. You want to be in n out quick? Come in at opening or close to even. read more

one of the worst urgent care I've been here especially for works comp I had to come here to get blood drawn. I had came here at 3pm during the weekday, mind you 3pm my appt was at. I was there for literally almost 2 hours, the staff in the back are quite rude giving me attitude for asking if I'm next or when can I get a piece a paper to leave and somehow they throw some attitude. Not to mention getting your blood drawn here is the worst the first time hurt so bad and when I went back for a second 2 days ago the medical assistant poked me twice and the second time poked my nerve... so here I am 2 days later recovering with my damaged nerve and my fingers are tingly. PCP are nice and very understanding I just think it's the staff that's need some work. I work in the healthcare field as well I know communication works so good and people appreciate that. In medical terminology, STAT is understood to mean right now, EMERGENT connotes within 15 minutes, URGENT is less pressing but still requires attention within 2 hours, and ROUTINE can be delayed indefinity. 5 hours and 43 minutes for a pre-hire physical is unacceptable. Came here for a workman's comp. Arrived at 11am and they said they didn't receive my information and they couldn't see me. Message my representative and she said she resent the information. Had to wait over 4hrs and they said from the beginning that they were 4 people ahead of me. 3hrs later they told me there were 2 people ahead of me. They have let 22 people ahead of me. They started to talk about my girlfriend in spanish so that she didn't understand them, but i do know and they were talking bad about her. They are very rude and unprofessional. This place is a joke. It sucks that employers use their services for physicals, drug screens, or for injuries. I was the first person to sign in when they opened and waited two hours to be called in for a physical. The MA's and NP have no clue what they are doing. I got a TB test that was put like a shot in my forearm. It should be interdermal. The NP asked me if my BP pill was for my heart or BP. Which I believe is the same. She also listened to my heart on the right side of my chest. I went back for the TB result and waited 1 1/2 hours just to check in. I had to go back for a 2nd TB test and waited 2 1/2 hours and was only called to the back because I called them to see if they forgot about me. I think they did because someone that came after me for a TB test was out before me. I also arrived when they first opened. If you can avoid this place at all costs! read more

Husband was sent from his employer to Concentra, McHenry Modesto for company Covid19 testing. He arrived at 11:30am, he had his examination form all filled out in advance. My husband was asked to wait in a room with others for 2 hours just to get his Covid19 test. He was mixed in with others needed examination or treatment! During this severe pandemic time, it's very high risk to be with people needed medical attention. A safety procedure needs to be in place, pre-screen and separate in groups.
