It was my first time having duck and it was very good. The curry had avocado in it which we thought was interesting...not necessarily a Thai flavor, but it made it so creamy and yummy. The food was good. The wine list was decent (for a sushi restaurant or a restaurant in Florida). The service was awful. -We were sat and given menus quickly. - At least 10 minutes later, we were acknowledged. We ordered a bottle of wine, waters, and our food. (this was more than 10 minutes, but after waiting for a bit I looked at my watch) - 8 minutes later, our water arrived. - 5 minutes after that, we were informed that the bottle of wine we ordered was not in stock. We ordered a backup. - 9 minutes, we were informed that both bottles were available now, but they were not chilled. (It was a white wine), but they could put them on ice. We declined, since it would take at least 9 minutes on ice for the wine to come up to temp. This would have been fine if they would have thrown it on ice when we ordered 22 minutes ago. - We ordered a couple glasses of wine. This came out within 4 minutes. - Our food came. It was good. - Halfway through our food, our wine glasses were near empty. We never saw the waitress until our food was completely gone. She never came back and checked on us. She never offered to refill our water or offer another glass of wine. Nothing. It's too bad. The ambiance, the food, the wine were all good. The potential is there, but I'll never know since I won't be going back. Sadly, we were far from the only people experiencing this level of service. The tables next to us had told us the same thing as we were looking around for our server to even order food or receive our drinks. Management: Train your staff. I've been here twice and the first time I came in was so concerned because the menu is so vast. I'm like the id no way you can do sushi and Italian right. But to my pleasant surprise, I was wrong. EVERYTHING HERE IS DELICIOUS. I've had amazing sushi and dumplings and turned around and had amazing goat cheese and meatballs. I don't know how they do it. Great puff pastry, soft but crusty bread, apple slices and raspberry jam. I would get that for myself next time and not share! My PIC and I decided to try 2 Vinez after having massages at Hand and Stone in Jupiter. We were very relaxed after our massages. It was a Saturday night, the place was packed very eclectic restaurant with artwork everywhere from local artists. The bathrooms had murals on the walls of people surfing and men in swim attire. The restaurant has a variety of sitting options high-tops, couches, dining room tables and bar seating. The menu had a huge selection, I ordered the pad thai with duck. I was pleasantly surprised by my choice, I thought the Pad Thai would have pieces of duck in it but it was a whole crispy duck on top. It was delicious. I can't wait to go back to have some more duck. We also got the carrot cake an excellent choice. This place has a great atmosphere and the food is spectacular. read more

A few minutes later, someone else came and told us there were other people ahead of us, asked if we had been seated by the hostess, and acted like we were trying to steal someone else's table. I came here this past weekend for dinner on a Friday night. I was in town visiting a friend and she recommended we come here since I had been to Too Bizaare before and loved it, and apparently they are owned by the same people. I like the atmosphere here, it's dimly lit and the decór is eclectic and fun. It would be nice for a date night. I was actually surprised that it wasn't busier since it was a Friday night. For drinks they only serve beer and wine so that was a bit of a let down because I was hoping to get some kind of specialty cocktail, but I had some wine and that was fine. To start I had a seaweed salad that was standard but quite large, and edamame for the table. For dinner I ordered a special roll called the Lisa roll. It was just ok, not very flavorful except for being overly spicy from the jalapeños inside. By far the best part of this meal though was the dessert, we split the carrot cake and it was probably the best carrot cake I've ever tasted. It was light and moist and just delicious! Overall though I prefer Too Bizaare, but 2 Vinez was a pretty good experience as well. read more

My friend had Lobster Pad Thai and Mussels, a Super Crunchy Roll of some kind and I had a green salad and the bacon and cheese pizza (it had other things on it too). My pizza came out with a soggy crust (they were pretty busy so maybe it didn't get enough oven time) so I asked them to crisp it up and they did so quickly. It tasted great and the crust was perfect. The super crunchy roll and red dragon rolls are two that we get every time! This restaurant has become my favorite restaurant ever and my family and I go here any chance we get. It has even become our tradition to go to 2 vinez for Christmas Eve dinner every year! Had dinner at 2 Vinez on Sunday evening. Ordered several items from the eclectic restaurant including the Coconut Tempura Shrimp, 2 Vinez Quesadilla, and the Lobster Volcano Roll. Quality Not knowing the Jupiter area very well, I decided to ask some of the locals at my previous stop about nearby food spots. After some debating, they landed on 2 Vinez, which they described as a sushi place, but one you need to order the quesadilla. And with that piece of knowledge I headed over to one of the strangest places I have ever eaten. Now the food I tried was good, not other worldly, but for a place with more items than I could count, better than expected. As I was advised I started with the 2 Vinez Quesadilla. A crispy tortilla shell with chicken, black beans, corn, cheese, and tomato, drizzled in cilantro sour cream and served alongside a pile of guacamole. It was decent dish. I did not really enjoy the guacamole and the chicken was a little rubbery, but I loved the tortilla and the cilantro sour cream was excellent. Next came the Coconut Tempura Shrimp, the weakest of the items I tried. Both the batter and the sauce they were served with were far too sweet. And I finished my meal with the absurd Lobster Volcano Roll. I'm always a fan of sushi rolls that utilize a baked seafood mix and here was no different. They took a tasty shrimp tempura roll and just covered it with a baked lobster along with masago and scallion. It was tremendous and had the perfect amount of heat. Quantity All of the dishes I ordered came with a good deal of food. Both the 2 Vinez Quesadilla and the Lobster Volcano Roll were massive and I ended up bringing some of each home. Value I felt the food I ordered was a decent value, but it would be difficult to classify the restaurant off of just those dishes. With such a crazy menu, I honestly would have imagined everything would cost more. But my appetizers were both in the $15 range, which was fair, and I expected my speciality loaded roll to run a bit high. Ambiance 2 Vinez is found in a small strip mall in Jupiter. There really is no way to describe what the restaurant looks like, you just need to see it. My best comparison would be if you decided to start a sushi bar and a wine bar in the middle of a thrift store. There is just random art, lawn decorations, furniture, and sculptures everywhere you look. The high ceilings allow for unnecessary light fixtures and decorations to hang down, plus there is a fish tank for some reason. I was also informed that basically everything you see is for sale, so if you like your chair, feel free to take it with you. It is a level of madness I don't think I have every experienced before. But somehow this lack of identity fits perfectly with the diverse menu. Crowd There appeared to be a small crowd on Sunday evening. The cluttered and winding restaurant is hard to get a true sense of, so there may have been more folks tucked away that I did not see. The folks that were there were mostly larger groups and that made sense since a major draw is that the menu had a little bit of everything. So for groups that can't make a consensus pick for type of food this is the spot to come. Service I was not particularly impressed by the service. I felt the waitress was way to pushy with taking my order, which should not be the case at the place with a menu as large and expansive as this one. The food also took a very long time to come out. Parking The restaurant is part of a strip mall, so there is a good-sized shared parking lot with plenty of spots. Extra 2 Vinez is really something else. And while I was not totally sold on my experience, I think it would take multiple visits to really get a sense of the place. If nothing else a visit is warranted just to see craziness that is the restaurant space. read more

Very cool, eclectic place. It's in a shopping center tucked away. It looks kind of like a furniture store as there are paintings, lights, couches, tables and chairs everywhere for purchase. There is also a small bar with a tv you can sit at. There were four of us and we sat in an area with a loveseat and two comfy overstuffed chairs. Tons of pillows to prop up behind you to get comfortable. We had a coffee table in front of us to put our food and drinks on. The restaurant just serves beer, wine, and sake. I had a nice glass of Sauvignon Blanc and my husband had hot sake. For appetizers we shared the brie appetizer which was delicious and served with raspberry jam, fresh fruit, bread, and crackers. We also had the Thai dumplings which were filled with a good amount of vegetables and chicken. I ordered the Bernie roll which comes with tuna, but I was able to swap for salmon. Roll was huge and came with 10 pieces. Combination of the ingredients was perfect! The desserts I saw other people getting looked really good, but we were all too full. Our server was very sweet and checked on us several times. This is a great place to come and chill as you feel like you're sitting in someone's home. Highly recommend and hope to return again! Restaurant was busy so bartender Jessica suggested ordering both together as sushi was taking longer. We agreed. One hour and 25 minutes later still no food. We paid for our drinks and left. Terrible experience. Unlikely to come back. As a Palm Beach Gardens resident I suggest Dive Bar instead. read more
