On the coldest day South Florida has had in like, a decade, my husband decided he wanted sushi, a cold meal. But Y'know what? Sushi Jo was outstanding! The service was impeccable, they were so quick to clean away trays and keep our drinks filled. The attention to detail and cleanliness was on point. Even something as simple as making sure all the soy sauce bottles were filled to the brim goes a long way! The ambiance was dark and dramatic, perfect for a sushi bar. The sushi itself was amazing! My husband loved his two variants of scallop rolls, and I really enjoyed my shrimp California roll! We also got the steamed pork shumai (not pictured), and it was so flavorful! I'd say my only complaint was that it was like 58 degrees in the restaurant, but like I said, we were having an unusual cold front, so I'll cut them some slack. Overall fabulous experience read more

Used to be our go to for Sushi. Seems to be slipping in all areas. The food hasn't been as good. There are less servers who always seem to be playing catch up and it was really hot in there the last couple times. We are moving on to a different sushi restaurant. Sad read more

My wife & I have been a customer of Sushi Jo's since it opened in Juno Beach. Monday night not so much. The coconut shrimp were way over cooked and appeared to be frozen not battered at the store. Our favorite the "Captain crunch roll had little to no flavor, tempora and looked even worse. I did however enjoy the steamed white rice with soy sauce side "not" $35.00 tab after the waiters who appeared to have put down his cat took the shrimp off the tab. The food was super bland and just over all not good. And the customer service was honestly terrible. We were the only people in there and they took over 5 minutes to come to our table. We placed a take out order today but the website did not give us the option to modify the fried rice so we tried calling once and did not receive a response so we figured we would just ask once we got to the store. First of all, someone should always be picking up the phone at an establishment like this. Secondly, once we arrived at the restaurant one of the employees was extremely rude and uptight. I watched him receive multiple calls and decline all of them. That is a great way to lose business. Also, under no circumstances should an employee be rude to paying customers who simply just walked into the restaurant. My boyfriend and I are regulars at Sushi Jo and have never experienced such poor service. We also didn't feel as if we were able to modify the order once we were there because of how on edge the employee was. They will definitely be losing our business. read more

I'm a bit of a sushi snob, so this is high praise. The King & I and the Surf and Surf roles are my favorites. They always accommodate my being picky about masago or wasabi on the plate. Very well priced for sushi. My favorite drinks are the sake martinis which the classic is smooth and simple. If you want a more sweeter taste get the lychee martini which to die for. They have other foods as well like fried rice, pad tai, spring rolls and more. The miso soup is really good even thought I think it's a bit salty for my taste buds, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't get it. The portions are excellent and the over all service is beautiful. Cool little spot kinda tucked away with a very chill inside vibe. We were just riding and came up on this spot. Went inside and was seated right away. They provided outside or inside seating and told us to pick anywhere. They had QR code to scan for the food menu and a physical drink menu. We ordered a few menu items and a large hot saki. I love Sushi Jo's food which is why it pains me to write this. I received a gift card a while ago for $100. Recently, I tried to use it for dinner with my fiance but the server said it did not work. After checking the gift car balance online and showing that it still contained $100 to the server, he insisted it did not work - despite proof to the contrary. I would have appreciate a little bit more effort to verify the gift card or trying to "make it right." Instead, it just seems like the restaurant was being greedy. Pizza alert!! You don't hear that too often on a sushi channel, but this place has a sushi sashimi pizza, super fun, great for sharing, and the sushi is awesome. This is a good place to come with friends in addition to the pizza they have hand rolls and the spicy tuna was great! Yum!
