2 S Brunch House is such a cute and quaint place! Located on the corner, door opens like going to your Auntie's house WITH a screen door Food portions are ginormous. Easy to split one plate with at least two other people. Brewed coffee is simple but so good. All condiments you could need is located conveniently on the table, but no extra napkins. Service was super friendly (shoutout to Maria). I took one star away because we were placed next to the bathrooms and that took away from the experience. Food was good but table placement was kind of gross. IYKYK. If you can get parking on the side streets, that's recommended OR paid parking can be found across the restaurant in a small lot. I have been here a few times and have enjoyed every visit. I usually get a pancake (1), bacon, and side order of hash browns. I love that I can get non-dairy creamer for my coffee here. Looking forward to coming here to check out the lunch menu one day. read more

This is a perfect brunch bar. There's not really a better way to put it. The menu covered all the right options, the ambiance was a cross between Cheers and a favorite coffee shop. The food came out perfectly, and getting a chorizo omelette to not be overly greasy... it's a skill, and it was on display here. Service was incredibly attentive, as well! My daughter loved her pancakes, they were huge and she only ordered a 1/2 stack. My husband's chili dog was good. I ordered a monte cristo french toast and was less than impressed with it. It was very bland and there was not much raspberry sauce on it. I really disliked the ham they use. It was nearly tasteless. Even throwing the ham on the grill for a minute would have helped. The seat by the window is very uncomfortable, we ended up having to move tables. Our server was nice and attentive. read more

The service was amazing! Maria, our server, was attentive and helped us get a four top when outdoor seating is usually only a two top. We needed to sit outside because we brought our educational ambassador raven, and Maria made sure we had all we needed for our bird. This place has been, and continues to be, awesome!! I've been to this place infrequently over the past 20 years as it is quite a drive for me from Bham. But whenever I'm in the Clarkston area in the morning I make a point of stopping in here for breakfast. I was a bit concerned when I heard it had changed ownership, but the laid back ambiance and the bright sunshine streaming in the windows continues; and the food is so delicious and well prepared. Our waitress was awesome and really a blast to interact with. I had the breakfast burrito with chorizo and we split some banana pancakes. So delicious. Coffee was awesome too. I'm glad this place continues to be so wonderful as other places that get new ownership generally change for the worse. Go here!!! read more

If you have any food allergies I'd avoid this place. I ordered the breakfast tacos with no cheese and said very clearly no cheese because I have a dairy allergy. I ate one of tacos and realized there was a bunch of cheese at the bottom. The waitress was apologetic. When the manager got involved he blamed me for having an allergy and said, "that's why we don't do special orders." I would suggest training your staff to tell your customers you don't do any special orders. Been coming here for years but don't plan to anymore based on this experience. read more

I always enjoy this little brunch spot in Downtown Clarkston. I try to stop on by every so often before going into work to enjoy a nice breakfast if possible. When eating at this location I always prefer getting a Smoked Salmon Bagel that comes with a salad along with milk and water. I walk form my home to 2 South Brunch sometimes and by the time I get there I know I always need a glass of milk and water to start my meal. The Smoked Salmon bagel is on there specials menu and it's so delicious every tube I get it. The Smoked Salmon Bagel never disappoints at 2 South Brunch. The service at this place is amazing and I always tip the servers good. It feels like home because I have become a regular now when I go in and the servers and management always say hello to me. I'm in the area for business. When traveling, I try to eat local as there are always hidden gems. 2 South is certainly a gem. From the moment I walked in with my colleague, we were hooked. It smelled amazing. It was a packed Sunday afternoon and we needed to return to work. We decided to order carryout. Both of us were so torn with what to order; it all looked so good. Ultimately we both chose omelets with potatoes & wheat toast. The pancakes smelled so good...so we each ordered a half portion of those as well. Both being in the food service industry, we watched the short order cooks, quite impressed with their skills. It always brings back fond memories to watch as I spent many years doing the same job in a similar environment. My colleague ate part of each of her selections upon returning to the office. She was very happy with her Spinach & Feta omelet. The added Gyro meat put a smile on her face. Sending her over the moon were the Blueberry Pancakes. I opted to consume only my pancakes. They were fluffy with just enough vanilla to make them different. After just a half order of cakes, I couldn't imagine attempting another bite. I stored my omelet, potatoes, & toast for the next day. When I finally felt like eating mid-morning the following day, I heated my potatoes in a skillet (I wanted those as crispy as they were when we left the diner) and warmed my omelet in a microwave. I wasn't expecting much from a microwaved omelet. Wow, was I wrong. It packed a punch. Huge chunks of sausage, fresh onions, mushrooms, and melted cheese. If I didn't know it was microwaved, I wouldn't have known it was microwaved. The potatoes were equally as delicious second day. I travel 10 days of every 14. Hotel breakfast gets rather boring. 2 South Brunch House was EXACTLY the change I needed. Keep doing great things folks! read more

No harm it was remade without onions but the second one had a black hair about 3 bites in... The hair definitely was placed in my food. Shame on the cook and the lady for thinking it was an accident! Enforce proper head/haircoverings for food handling! My item was taken off the bill which I am thankful for but also I'm still very hungry and will have to find something else.
