Jaime, my server, was exceptional and super friendly as she kept checking in on me throughout my meal. I ordered calamari and a small pizza. She questioned my decision as maybe I needed something larger. Who are you kidding? The small pizza was a 14 inch pie with 8 slices for lil' ol' me!! Now I understood her question as in order a slice or two!! Regardless, the pizza was extraordinary and definitely had that stretched dough and hand toss feel and taste to it; fluffy yet strong enough to handle my carnivore toppings. The calamari... ay marron! First time I had it that didn't taste like it came from a pack of frozen bits. It tasted fresh and lightly coated and fried golden brown with a serving of home made marinara sauce. Red Rose is an Italian kitchen serving up the standard fares most folks are accustomed to, but I came here for the pie and left with a box to feed me for the next two days. Great place for locals and a pleasant experience for those visiting Springfield.

I love their pizza! Its also right off the highway so its real easy to get to! its a small little building with counter stools and tvs, but man they make a GREAT pizza. They do something unique with the dough which adds a tremendous amount of flavor - almost a lemony type of flavor. I know they do some unique pizzas but i always just get basic pepperoni and love it. As someone else mentioned, the cheese is also really noticeable and yummy! If youre in east springfield, this is THE place to get pizza! read more
