Inside are plenty of tables and seating, their giant menu behind the counter, drink coolers with a vast selection of soft drinks, juices, and water. The staff are in uniform, looking professional and they are eager to serve. Very friendly and helpful and where I typically would've ordered something like an Italian sub or meatball sub as a good baseline to compare sandwich shops and delis, I had taken a peek at their Yelp review pictures, and I ordered their Cuban sandwich. Lil Havana. The best Cuban I've ever had was in a shop in Florida many years ago and I had made a bigger and sloppier version of it myself at home (after many attempts to perfect it) so I've been looking for a Cuban sandwich to knock my socks off and based on the reviews here on Yelp, Lil Papi's was going to be the place to try it. But best of all they have several prepared frozen meals like Lasagna, eggplant Parmesan and other favorites. They also had sauces and cheeses and pasta. The pastry case was filed with Italian staples like cannolis. If you're looking for a purveyor of authentic Italian items in Concord, this is definitely the spot! A little while later, Olivia called me back to let me know the catering had turned out great and that they could still deliver it if I wanted. When the order arrived, I was so impressed! Both catering boxes looked fantastic, and everything was prepared beautifully. I truly appreciate the employees who stayed late and put such care into making our order, and I especially want to thank Olivia for her outstanding customer service. Ok, I just have to say, WOW. This place is really great. From the shabby chic decor to the west coast flavored cuisine! I live and work in the area so I have occasion to eat here often(at least once a week) shh do not tell the hubby! I must say it has never been a "hit or miss" it is a hit, a bullseye, a home run and a touchdown every time. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and the owners are very nice and come out to greet people often. Some of my favorites- ROCKY POINT- jalepeno cream spread, roasted sweet corn, grilled zucchini, blackened chicken, avocado, and pepper jack cheese...woo hoo man. I don't where in Concord or North Carolina you can get that but at 2 Gals. Don't even get me started about their vegetarian options which are plenty, try their unmeatable as substitute for any protein on any sandwich and you will be pleased. Plus you can get anything gluten free! This is definitely not your typical eatery. You can tell everything is freshly made and its all made there. Hands down the best burgers I have ever had in my life and I have been to some well known burger places and this one has them beat! WOW WOW WOW!!! I do not usually do a lot of reviews but I just had to do one here. I have been eating at 2 Gals for nearly a year and when I say that I mean almost once a week for a year as I work near by. I have read through some of these reviews and some of them I just do not understand at all! This place is on it. I have never had food this good. You can tell everything is fresh and made to order. I have been there when they are completely full and I mean every seat is taken and yes it takes a little longer to get my food on those days but who CARES, it is worth the wait. If I want fast food, I will go to a fast food place, but when I want something delicious and fresh and made the way I want it I go here. The servers are always the most friendly and helpful. The owners often come out and greet you at your table. The chefs are amazing. I am telling you this place deserves all the support it can get. You just don't find LOCAL places that care this much. I know that no place is perfect but I can certainly tell this place really wants to do their best to fill our bellies with healthy delicious food. Heard they are opening for dinner soon! 2 Gals Kitchen is conveniently located in historic downtown Concord across the street from the Cabarrus County Courthouse, so on weekdays expect a professional crowd. The décor is pretty typical of a "Main Street" style eatery...overly cutesy and a bit contrived. As for the food, it's hit or miss. My favorite is the spring salad...fresh strawberries, spring mix, caramelized pecans (although the pecans are always a bit on the burnt side), and an AMAZING raspberry vinaigrette. I am tempted to give it a four-star rating just for this so-good-you-want-to-drink-it vinaigrette, but I have to be fair. The Asian-style cold pasta salad sounds promising, but it's overly spicy, likely to compensate for the weird peanut-y dressing. The fries are really good though! Sliced thin with the skin-on they are the perfect balance of greasy and crispy and totally delicious. If you find yourself at 2 Gals, definitely order some fries. The restaurant also has an array of salads, sandwiches, and wraps and is a real Concord favorite. But remember, Concord is mostly fast-food and family chains, so the standards aren't too high. read more

Came in yesterday for independence day. It was our first time. They were actually open which was awesome! Our server let us know about the margarita sepcials and those were the best margs ever! Our server was very sweet and helpful when i asked about the menu items. What a great menu selection they have. I ordered a rocky point with a sundried tomato wrap and potato salad for a side. It was out of this world and so fresh. After I tried the french palmier cookies with fresh cream and berries. It was a wonderful not too sweet after lunch dessert. I can say the food was amazing and service was top notch. I love this place. My new local favorite resturant. I most definitely will be back and tell everyone about this restaurant!!! read more

To finally find a place that truly makes their own everything is a pretty amazing thing! All the sauces, spreads, meats, salsa, salad dressings down to the croutons are all made in house by these chicks!!! It's amazing!! I happen to be a fairly picky eater, for example I love Philly sandwiches yet I am not a fan of the typical large cut pieces of peppers and onions so they will chop them small for me! I really appreciate that type of thing!! And I DO NOT MIND WAITING A LITTLE EXTRA WHEN EVERYTHING IS MADE ON THE SPOT SO ITS FRESH AS CAN BE!!!! It's more than worth the wait!! 2gals is hands down my favorite restaurant. I've sampled the majority of the menu, and I've never been disappointed. It's diverse enough that there's something for everyone, so don't worry about picky eaters. If you get fries as a side, I recommend getting them with a side of sundried tomato ranch. If you're looking for homemade food, beautiful decor, and an absolutely fantastic staff/owners, this is the place for you. Even if you aren't, you should go anyway! You'll be pleasantly surprised. Incredible find in downtown Concord right across from the courthouse. Belinda and Mary have a charming eatery that is absolutely amazing. Everything is homemade and fresh leave room for the bake goods because they are incredible. Wonderful charm and ambience. We were treated to live music at lunch. Which is unusual. They also have beautiful paintings on the walls that are sold by local artists. I just found out they're going to be serving dinner starting in January so I would recommend this place very highly. For a wonderful meal, cup of tea, or a varied wine list. read more

A great location in Concord that has a variety of foods for all occasions, although my favorites are the Monterey sandwich, the PMS hot sandwich (pastrami, mustard, and Swiss), as well as the ABC burger. The decor of the restaurant is charming and adds to the atmosphere of the restaurant. It's an added bonus that The Sweet Life bakery is located inside, which has wonderful cupcakes and other desserts. Overall this local restaurant is a hidden gem and worth a stop. read more

First time to Concord and we luckily found 2 Gals. The food was excellent. I had the Tarragon Chicken Sandwich and the homemade potato salad. They were both outstanding. The best potato salad I've ever had in a restaurant! Carla our server was amazing! When she found out it was our first time there, she went over the menu in detail and explained how everything was made in house. We haven't had service like that since the pandemic started. This is easily my favorite restaurant - my mom and I come here for lunch every Friday if we can. The owners and the servers are an excellent group of people and their love for the restaurant is apparent... we always feel so welcome there and the vibe is unmatched. The food is incredible. This is not only a lovely setting in a historic building but the food and service were outstanding. The special for tonight was barbecue chicken, loaded mashed potato, corn on the cob, yeast roll and salad with home made dressing!!! So good! Great little diner, I've had chicken salad sandwich, 15 bean soup, turkey sandwich, chips and salsa and the potato soup is the best I've ever had. Everything is hand made, tastes excellent. We were greeted immediately and they were so helpful in helping me decide on what to order. The chicken sandwich was one of the best I've ever had. The hot sauce was a little spicer than I expected, which they did warn me and advise I get it on the side, but it's still very good. The ranch is homemade and excellent. Some of the best I've had. I highly recommend this place and will return again.

There is outdoor and indoor seating. They offer toys for kids outside. It seems very family friendly. The food was very good. We ordered at the counter and they brought our lunch to us outside. We were concerned it may be too hot out, but the shade provided relief from the sun and it was very pleasant. I ordered a refreshing ice tea also. Pump Social was a fun place to eat.
