The burger was very good, but sometimes you just have to give five stars for the overall experience. I cruised in earlier today amid a sea of boot-clad women with ripped jeans, so let's just say I was in a good mood already. A very, very nice hostess greeted me, explained the ordering process and handed me a menu. Great customer service! Most burgers are quarter pounders; you can upgrade to a half which is what I did - the "The Barnyard" with the fried egg, bacon and American cheese. I added some pepper jack and pickles because that's what I do. Bacon was nice a crispy and the bottomless steak fries were red hot and crispy! No ancient fries here. The servers who bring your food after you order don't stop there - they offer to refill your glass and get you anything you need. Only negative is the ketchup - Heinz and only Heinz should be on the table!! Just a positive experience all around and I'm glad I gave them my money. Came during the rodeo and this place was packed. The gentleman promised we would be through the line in 5 minutes and eating In 9. I fell for that, hook, line and sinker! It took 10 minutes to snake through the ordering line and at least 15-20 minutes to get our food. The burger patty was cheap and the burger itself was not very flavorful-how disappointing! They offered bottomless fries but never once stopped to ask if we needed a refill. The chocolate shake was grainy and runny. The fries were very delicious, though! Came down here for a wedding, and I came upon this place on maps, and the reviews were great, and oh boy, 2 Doors Down did not disappoint. The staff were super friendly, and the best part, they refilled your drink for you. The atmosphere was great, and I felt like I was in the right place to have lunch. We walked in and they asked us how many we had in our party like a greeter and like they were going to seat us. We told them and they said we needed to order at the register. Just an odd setup. We had an order of Bocci Balls and the Fried Cod with Steak Fries. Everything is made fresh and was hot and yummy. I've tried several of the burgers on previous visits, and each one is unique and delicious. Did I mention the fries are bottomless? Owners Jerry and Sandy know how to make their customers feel welcome, too. You are able to substitute out a veggie patty on the all burgers which was a great perk for me as a vegetarian.I almost liked that they didn't just have a "veggie" option but that you could just make any of their options vegetarian!
