It sells new and used guns but opts not to do consignments. They are a licensed seller of NFA items like suppressors and they do so through Silencer Shop. My personal preference for suppressor purchases. The staff were inviting, conversational and very friendly. They didn't act paranoid about a new customer as many gun stores do. The building is clean and the display cases and accessories are attractive and well laid out. Parking is simple and right near the front door. I liked everything about this gun store and I will absolutely be back. The prices were very competitive and they sell ammunition as well.

The antique and collectible firearms, bayonets, ammunition, vehicles, helmets, uniforms and other such things are absolutely amazing. They always have new and interesting rifles and pistols for sale. Today I found and bought an AKM 74 for a very reasonable price that I absolutely adore. I can't wait to shoot it. The staff is pleasant and are walking encyclopedias on older firearms. I love talking to them about the variations of weapons from the war period. This place is absolutely immaculately clean. Clean in a way you would have to see to understand. Denver is lucky to have a place like this, that is so well versed in history. Stop in a check it out. You will see what mean. It's like a museum and a gun shop rolled into one.

When I entered, I was greeted very warmly and asked if I needed any help. No complaints there. The prices seemed reasonable with a rather limited selection of firearms and/or ammunition. It's a small store, so that's not really an issue. What did bother me is the way the pistols were just thrown into the display cabinets, lying on and against one another. It just feels off to me to see such high dollar weapons just randomly thrown into a case. I've never seen new guns bare metal stacked on one another like this. It gave me the feeling these people didn't care about firearms in the same way I do. I'd be slow to buy from anyone that shows such little regard for their own stock. I've been buying guns for twenty years and I've never seen this, even in low end pawn shops. Your mileage may vary but guns are a lifestyle to me and I deeply care about how they are taken care and how safely they are handled.

I came into Sportman's Warehouse to look for a new firearm. Despite multiple patrons at the gun counter, I was immediately helped. The employees were extremely knowledgeable about their inventory and the firearms they were selling. Later, when we were about to leave, my friend and I proceeded to buy a bag of hard candy. When we got to the cashier, he was swamped with other customers at the customer service counter. Instead of having us wait to process the transaction, he simply gave us the candy free of charge. The level of service here is unparalleled. The employees are attentive, knowledgeable, nice, and truly care about the customer. Sportsman's Warehouse in Sheridan has earned my business. I will be buying my future supplies and firearms from this specific Sportsman's Warehouse.

It's…read morea smaller gun store but the staff, especially a young blonde woman, simply could not have been more pleasant. They gave a BT 9mm that I'm really interested in. It even already has the tri lug for a suppressor. It's used but damn near half the price of a new one. I'm intrigued. This smaller gun store even has a shooting range that is clean, well maintained and well run. I really enjoyed this gun shop, especially the staff, and I suspect I will be returning regularly. Oh, by the way, they have rental firearms as well that covers the entire spectrum of types and interests. I love shopping local smaller businesses and this is definitely one of these.
