As you all know by now, I love gun stores, shooting ranges, gun shows and strip clubs. So, I'm always thrilled to find a new gun store with quality products and/or new strip clubs with beautiful women. This gun store made me smile and I'm shocked I've never seen it before. It sells new and used guns but opts not to do consignments. They are a licensed seller of NFA items like suppressors and they do so through Silencer Shop. My personal preference for suppressor purchases. The staff were inviting, conversational and very friendly. They didn't act paranoid about a new customer as many gun stores do. The building is clean and the display cases and accessories are attractive and well laid out. Parking is simple and right near the front door. Really the best gun shop I've ever been to. The guys that work there--Ryan, Anthony, others--are experts, fountains of knowledge, but never arrogant or intimidating. Go in with a question, they're happy to help. Go in looking for the best firearm, smithing, or accessory, they'll point you in the right direction regardless of price tag. In my case, they recently steered my away from a $1,200 purchase to make a $500 one, making a very strong case on the cheaper substitute. They make difficult processes with firearms as clear and straight-forward as they can be, from a paperwork perspective, and they spend the time with you up front to ensure you understand safe operating procedures when you make a purchase. While I'm now a repeat customer, even when I went in my first time and told them I wasn't going to buy, they still spent time discussing my options when they could've moved on to focusing on one of the other customers. That type of low-key, friendly but expert service is why I eventually became a customer. They keep their products in great shape, and their stock is very well curated. They have the usual suspects (Glock, Sig, FN), but they also have a lot of high-end products from smaller companies. Really nice ARs, shotguns, everything, a ton of optics. Probably the best shop in Colorado. Service and selection is top notch. Had them handle some FFL transfers and they've special ordered some accessories for me. Pricing is fair but full disclosure: definitely not the cheapest place around. Considering that I'm a front line worker, this business has no interest in Covid 19 precautions. From the staff to the customers, nobody wears a mask or social distancing. The place is confined with little elbow room, increasing your chances of contracting the virus. I've been there three times in the past 11 months, and nothing has changed. Don't let the location in a strip mall deter you. This is a solid neighborhood gun shop. Having both bought from them directly and had other retailers ship to them for FFL transfer, I can safely say that these guys are top notch. They spend as much time as necessary helping me decide on a purchase, have never made me feel rushed, and have shown a high degree of knowledge and understanding for the products I was interested in. Transactions have been very smooth and the FFL transfer fee is highly competitive. Lastly, I'd like to note that many firearms retailers/ranges don't always make you feel comfortable or welcome in their establishment. That is certainly not the case here. I don't know who came up with their bulk ammo prices but they are absurdly high. $16.99 for 50rds of 9mm is ridiculously expensive.
