Great atmosphere, very knowledgeable people expert craftsmanship. I do all my business here. It's a great place.

This is a solid gun store in the Denver Metro area. The selection of firearms and accessories are quite good. It's an especially good place to find magazines. I did find it a bit "clicky" and it's very clear they have regulars and cronies that get served better and faster than those of us new to the store. Their prices are on the high end of retail, very near MSRP which is traditionally high. They have a great selection of the high end stuff like FN SCARS but the prices are higher than most. I also didn't really enjoy fending off two shop dogs that were constantly sniffing me. They do have a Silencer Shop kiosk and that's much appreciated. read more

Great staff. Needed to find a man with very small hands, JT is the guy. From beretta bobcats to even Ruger LC9, he'll make your firearms look massive. Sold 2 firearms to pick up what I wanted and even left without my phone! Returned for more laughter. JT and staff at Machine Gun Tours will forever be my firearm store going forward. 11/10 read more

I highly recommend this place!! I did a machine gun shoot and it was one of the best times I've ever had... I suggest shooting the shotguns and the suppressed fully automatic was my favorite :-) read more

I have been coming here since 2018 and have always been impressed. The shop is clean, well organized, and always well stocked. The staff are friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and always helpful. Their full time gunsmith has always been upfront, honest, and able to fix anything I bring to him (and I've brought a ton of weird rifles to him)! Ammo prices are good for the quality of ammo, they have a wider selection of magazines than any other store in the Denver area (I've been to all but 2 of them), and there's always a new selection of guns/parts/accessories. Their dog is cute and very well mannered too. read more

Went with a group of 5 guys to Denver and came across Machine Gun Tours and saw their opportunity to shoot WWII machine guns. We met at an outdoor area in Bennett, CO and shot 3 historic, amazing machine guns: Tommy Gun, BAR, and MG-42. Our host Matt, an experienced Army veteran, was phenomenal. He did an amazing job making it fun and accommodating for us. Highly recommend this experience. read more

Love the staff.... lots of inventory here. The owner is great looking and super friendly.

My work group went to Colorado for a conference. Instead of golf we had an automatic weapon outing. Setting up the event was super easy. The employees are all very nice and professional. We picked out the guns we wanted to shoot. The owner, Alan, was well prepared before we arrived. He is a very good guy and super knowledgeable. The experience was fking awesome! We shot full automatic down range. We had the best time. I would definitely do this again!! read more

The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. I wouldn't trust any other gunsmith to work on my firearms ! Amazing guys with great attitudes

All the bad reviews here are written by people who are uneducated in the firearm space, have no clue what they're talking about, and didn't do their research... "Bloody C" complaining about them not willing to run his background check without him buying a gun.. he claims it's horrible policies in place. The reality is no gun store is going to do this for you. It's your due diligence to understand before hand if you're a criminal or not. Also, any gun store in America will take your money from your deposit because they had to take inventory off the shelf to do so in the first place. "Niel G" is upset that he bought a shotgun that uses "propriety" ammunition of which the manufacturer went out of business, once again a customer not doing any research or their due diligence before buying a firearm. Remember the part of your purchase contract that says "all firearms sales are final"... yeah.. you signed it! So stop complaining, you have full access to google and you should have done the research to find a shotgun which has widely accesible parts and ammunition, but you thought you were cool and bought the shotgun that no one else wanted. I had to speak up against these previous reviews I read on here. I would have replied directly to them if I could.. read more

Great customer service! Big selection! Talked to their knowledgeable staff for a good while and gained some good knowledge! I will absolutely come back! read more

Alan gets 5 stars for his patience with a rookie like me and his deep well of knowledge about his inventory. My son's birthday was his best ever. My knowledge of firearms and vintage weaponry could fit in a thimble and Al was equally comfortable interacting in turns with my knowledgeable son and his ignorant dad. Sign us up for a second helping! Thanks read more

Called first and was told a gun was in stock and when I showed up to the store it took a while to be helped which was ok because they were busy. So after waiting I was finally helped and the gun wasn't in stock it was a completely different gun. When I realized it I asked them if it was a mistake and they just blew me off and moved on to the next customer. I went to another store and got what I wanted and won't be returning to Machine gun tours. read more

The stars are for the staff. The owner is not a good business man and I will not return and I will steer others away. I support small business when they deserve to be supported Just saw Alan's reply. Which of the seven words I used were "extremely rude" Al? I'm here to pick up my firearm. Exactly 7 words. As my review says. The stars are for the staff. You are just wrong. Your policies suck and you are a plain idiot. Nice way to accept responsibility publicly so everyone can see why they should go elsewhere. read more

Best place in Denver for any caliber ammo and variety of firearms. This is in covid / ammo shortage days. Picked up a Tavor X-95, an FN-X 45 and an FN Five seveN. Extremely knowledgeable staff. Bad reviews are from ninnies wanting a babysitter. Those who know, know. read more

Really like this store. Have been in Machine gun tours two times recently to check out what they have in stock, unfortunately we didn't end up purchasing anything either time. The store has a good selection of firearms and probably the best selection of AK's in Colorado. Both times my wife and I have been in the store the staff were great, both times greeted us and showed us guns off the shelf and took the time to really help us. If you're in the market for a gun, this store should be on your radar. read more

Awesome store but nobody seemed motivated to make a sale. I waited around for probably close to 30 minutes and everyone was either showing off videos or disappeared into the back. It was quite frustrating because I just wanted to make a quick purchase and ask a question about preferred brands. read more

The place looked nice lots of cool guns but horrible policies in place. You're not allowed to run your background to see if you even qualify for the purchase. They want you to pay for the gun then run your background and if you fail guess what they pocket your money, I asked if it would be possible to run my background before hand I was told no, one can only assume why that policy is in place. I came to buy not look but buy a Dixon marine commando shotgun they had several and where relatively inexpensive but the guy said they were all brand new and they definitely looked like they've been shot a few times. read more

So here's my review in a nutshell, most of the employees are pretty helpful most of the time but I gotta say lately the younger kids they got working in there are lost I've been in there several times and they are more concerned about bs with there fellow employees instead of asking if u need help it's like you are bothering them to do there job I usually never say anything on these reviews but I'm getting tired of the crappy customer service and believe me it's not all there employees just a few , I will continue to buy from them but maybe this will be a wake up call read more

Had booked a private shooting experience for my birthday, just my girlfriend and I. The gun selection is excellent, especially for those who love the classics. I'm talking authentic WWII machinery, and plenty of other fun treats. Al was our host for the event, and this took place in an exclusive location off of one of Colorados most beautiful highways. The drive to the range alone, is reason enough to encourage those interested in some grade A fun. Not to forget, the biggest package includes a belt-fed, with the classic M60 being one of the options. Truly a phenomenal experience that I couldn't ever get enough of. Big shout out to Al for his excellent hospitality, and the effort he put into to lugging around all that beautiful equipment. I felt that he was extremely patient, because I am in fact a total rookie. This was my first time ever shooting, and living in California where automatic firearm is a big "no", I don't think I'll ever find satisfaction in any firearm that isn't automatic. And it's also important to throw in there that Al comes equipped with GoPro cameras for first person footage that he'll offer to send your way. Thank you Machine Gun Tours, and thank you Al, so very much. read more

$49.95 for a box of 9mm ammo! No thanks what a price gouge! Woooooooooooooow!!!!!!!!!!

This store is great! As someone new to guns it was very refreshing to have such a friendly staff, in particular a lady who was very helpful and knowledgeable. She helped me determine what might be the best choice for my conceal carry firearm. She wasn't condescending and helped me out so much! My husband and I will be visiting again soon. read more

BEWARE!!! So this was my experience. I own a Sig MPX and I needed magazines. There's two generations of magazines and Machine Gun Tours only had the 1st generation. The problem with that is the 1st magazine were know to be problematic. Hence the second generation. Well the "sales guy" at Machine Gun Tour reassured they would work fine. Long story short I bought 3 magazines (which cost 75$ each) and they all failed. So I call up and asked for help and started to raise their voice becoming increasingly rude and basically told me to go F- myself. The people are super smug and rude to begin with. I would highly recommend going to somewhere that if something was to go sideways then you'll have some backing. These guys are horrible. Cost me 225 to find out for myself read more

I love this place! Expert help, these guys are awesome, the staff is super friendly and they will point you in the right direction to make the right decision. No pressure sales also, they definatly don't make you feel like you have to buy anything. Aaron helped me out a lot with my builds and what I needed they had, if they didn't have it shipping was super fast and he notified me asap. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy! read more

Worst customer service I have ever had in my life. I had traded in my 1301 Beretta towards a RAS12 Shotgun on 08/30/2017, I was told that I can purchase ammunition through their store or online by John. Later I found out that the company that makes the gun and the exclusive ammunition has gone out of business. The same day I called them and said that I would like to bring it back, I was told by John that it was above his pay grade and that I can always buy reloads, which is incorrect as you can't reload an exclusive polymer shell. John called the owner Allen and he said that he wouldn't allow a refund or even allow me to trade it in at a loss. They knew exactly what they were doing without any warning. Stay away from these guys!!!!! I know have a $1,500 ornament!!! read more

DO NOT buy a gun from these guys. We purchased a .22 with an archangel kit from them and it didn't work from day one. It repeatedly misfired and the magazine jammed. We immediately called them and were told they would "take care of us." That did not happen. Brought the gun back the next day and were told we have to deal with the manufacturer. Tried returning it and the response was always "sales are final." Would you want a gun that repeatedly didn't work? They said they'd take a look at it and call us the next day. Two weeks later I called them and they told us they were still waiting for us to drop off a part (a part we had dropped off two weeks earlier). When I told them that, they realized they were wrong, and said they would try to figure out what the status was of repairing my gun and have the gunsmith call us. The gunsmith never called. They had my gun for over two (almost three) weeks. On top of that, they never gave us all of the parts to the gun when we purchased it (and never called us to tell us that). Only after our second trip back did some other guy bring up that, "I think these go with your gun. Yeah, oops." I asked for the owner to call me and he never did. I asked how I would be compensated for this huge headache and they told me that they fixed the gun - which wouldn't function with the Archangel kit. So now I have another .22 - a gun I only purchased for the Archangel kit which doesn't function, but they won't take the gun back. TERRIBLE customer service, poor product. Totally unsatisfied customer. I thought buying a guy from a independent business would be a good experience, but it's been the worst buying experience I've ever had. STAY AWAY from this place. In my opinion, when you buy a gun, it should work. If it doesn't, the store should deal with the manufacturer. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else! read more

I have shopped here many times before with decent results. For the most part you can find reasonably priced furniture and accessories for anything you are building and some nice complete firearms - all with a pretty good selection. That being said, if you want to experience the "Why the hell are you in my store?" attitude, you have come to the right place. These guys will provide you with the best example of why gun people hate shopping at gun stores. These guys are guaranteed to treat you like garbage. I just want to look at these guys and say, "Do you have any friggin idea how much lead I put down range and how many firearms I purchase every year?" every time I am hit with a condescending remark to a question or made to feel like I just asked to look at a high point. I am done shopping here. I waited patiently in line the other day with more than $250 in merchandise for my newest build (small potatoes I know, but considering my last build was more than $2,500 there was more to come), while one guy ate his lunch and talked to his friends at the counter and the owner sat on his ass and carried on a long conversation with his old friend. I was invisible for an uncomfortably long period of time and they could care less. I just put the stuff back and walked out after new customers came in and were helped long after I was in line. This store is closer for me than a lot of other stores, but from now on, I will make the drive to 5280 Armory, The Gun Room or Tom and Joe's. Same stuff, better prices and get this - they want to conduct business and mange to treat me like they want me to come back. read more

Went down here to check out the place after seeing some pictures on facebook. Though they did have a decent stock of rifles, EVERYTHING in the store was overpriced. They were selling 525 packs of .22 for $50.00, and $60 PMAGs. Gouging in this climate is a surefire way to lose a customer. The staff was somewhat helpful, didnt ask if we needed help we had to go grab their attention at the counter. There are plenty of other places to buy these items, give them a try first. read more

I wanted to thank Machine Gun Tours and especially Kyle, who helped me in every way and helped me make an informed decision in purchasing my first Colorado handgun, the FN-5.7. We took it to the mountains and let me tell you. It's the firearm of the future. Thank you Kyle, you really took the time for us to do it right. Now you and your company are the only firearms dealer, I trust or for that matter anyone else should either. And less expensive I might say. Don't waste ur time, like I did with other dealers, go here first. Kyle, Because of you. I'm going to come back for an AR next. read more

Professional, knowledgeable, great customer service...I have done a lot of business with MGT this summer and have nothing but good things to say. I usually wait a while to right a review on a business to be accurate but I can tell you that I would have written this same review from day one. They have a wide selection of tactical firearms and accessories including class 3, ammo, CCW classes, and what else?...MACHINE GUN TOURS!!! Who doesn't want to shoot a machine gun? I have yet to do one of these tours as I spend most of my money on my personal firearms. The tours range anywhere from $210 to $850. You can shoot anything from a suppressed .22lr pistol to a .50BMG to just about any fully auto anything if you can afford the amount of ammo you will be belting out. Their firearm prices are good, what you would expect. It looks like they also have a selection of firearms that you can rent also. This is a good option because you can try out several different types to find out what is for you prior to investing in a firearm of your own. I have also used their gunsmithing services just for a couple of minor things. Everyone I have dealt with has just been super cool but not too cool for school. read more

I became a new owner of a PPQ through another dealer, and was looking for some 9mm Luger ammo, since the dealer didn't have any in stock. I came to MGT because it is very close to my home, and found a much better price than I expected for a box of 50 rounds. The staff, despite all the negative comments on here, were helpful enough to be friendly, but not so "helpful" that they were pushy. I merely had to wait for the guy at the counter to finish helping another customer, and he helped me find what I was looking for (Turns out, I was standing almost on top of it). I will be back for most, if not all, of my ammo needs. read more

Great gun selection. Huge supply of firearm accessories. Gun rentals are sweet. I like how they had a lot of guns for conceal carry. The place was very crowded when I was in there with my girlfriend.
