They put a huge hole in my sweater and never told me about it. I've been to other places that were at least honest when they messed up. When I went back and let them know and asked if they could fix it they said yes and did not say anything about charging me for it (probably should have confirmed) but got a charged for it when I picked it up. If I could give this place negative stars I would. I have used them for over 10 years and they have started charging a 3% surcharge NOT for using a credit card but to pay for the fee their vendor charges them for them machines they use. What a bunch of crooks read more

To be fair, this review isn't a full review as I have only dropped off my clothes so far. I will update this post once I get my dry cleaning back. Stonegate Cleaners gets a 5 star review (so far) because of the great customer service, low prices and the layout/ look of the facility. A quick glance around showed a great deal of customers utilizing Stonegate Cleaners. Historically I do not use cleaners and try to stretch out each service, but if each experience is like my initial one here, I will dry clean my clothes a lot more frequently. read more

One of the dress shirts was torn from the laundering. They didn't offer to reimburse for it. Wondering if it's a usual problem here.

Seeing the reviews from previous yelpers, I decided to check try out the cleaners, as I had 10 shirts that needed cleaning. I walked in and was greeted by the gentleman. He counted the shirts and I pointed out that the collars were very dirty. As Houstonians know, the neck sweat can turn any shirt collar yellow or brown and anything in between. The man showed the shirt to another person (whom I assume is the owner) and verified that they can clean it. "Awesome", I thought. I would get my shirts back in 3 days and the total was like $14, which is reasonable. I went back 3 days later, paid and as soon as I picked up the shirts, I noticed that the collars were still dirty. I showed the man the collar and his response, "If it's too dirty we can't clean it". My issue with that statement is that I asked if it could be cleaned; why take it if you can't clean it? Probably will not be going back. read more

Always the best service and quality work at a great price! My go to for dry cleaning and they even hemmed my pants. They came out great.

We frequently go to this location but they have lost our clothes about 10 times and offer nothing for the inconvenience. Messed up shorts and all. We kept going to them because it's close but it's starting to get tiresome. Will be looking for a new company to try soon read more

My wife went to pick up our king sized comforter last week. She had our three month old baby with her who happened to just fall asleep before getting there. My wife parked right outside and called them asking if they could bring it out. They did not hesitate to accommodate. They brought out the comforter and rang her up and she didn't have to get out of the car. Anyone who has ever had a baby will realize this was an incredible help. This place is right at the entrance to my neighborhood. I started using them because they were close and convenient but now the owner knows my name and exactly how I like my clothes. I would highly recommend using Stonegate cleaners! They are very reasonably priced (around $2 for one dress, etc) and they have a quick turn around. They usually get it to you by the next day. When you get your clothes even those with though stains they are as good as new. Great service! read more

I do not write negative reviews often but I totally am disappointed. I asked the man at the front if he could sew patches on my shirts, he said no problem! I go to pick them & the patches are crooked and hardly attached and too high up the sleeve. Needless to say I was livid. But he did give me a refund. read more

I dropped off a number of items - skirts, pants, dresses, and sweaters. They all came back smelling like chemical but were NOT smelling clean at all. I ended up hand washing all of those items in Woolite in the sink because I discovered the "less than pleasant" smell on a business trip. I would recommend taking dry cleaning somewhere else. read more
