Until your windows are sparkling clean, you'll have no idea how dirty they were. 1st State Window Cleaning was stellar! We live in a 156 year-old home with many 6/6 divided light windows with rope mechanisms and some of them don't work. The guys who did the cleaning were very careful and respectful of the windows and their special handling. Also, they removed all storm windows and cleaned those as well. I am impressed with the window cleaning job that was done on my home. The fellows, Jordan and Lucas, were friendly, professional and thorough. They left no mess in the garden below the windows, cleaned not only the windows, but the screens (where needed), and the sills. I also had my inside and outside foyer windows cleaned along with the foyer chandelier. While they were doing that they alerted me to a blown water hose on one side of my house that was spewing water. The invoice was less than when I had the same windows cleaned a few years ago. 1st state window cleaning was supposed to come out this morning at 8am, we had prepped the house to get ready. Pulled all screens out and washed, pulled all outside furniture away from the house, washed all inside windows. To only have him call around 9am saying they had call outs and could not come. I sent an email telling them that we had to do alot of pre work to prep for them to come today. Not to mention we woke up at 6:30 am preparing for a 8am arrival. Then they said that they would be out this afternoon after I sent my email this morning. Only for a no call no show this afternoon! This is horrible business practice and we will be taking our business somewhere else. The least you could do is communicate with your customers, but a no call not show is ridiculous. DO NOT give this company your business. read more

My windows are always spotless, the crew is always very respectful and professional, they call to let me know when they are about a half hour away, and they always protect my house and furnishings by wearing booties and putting down tarps under their buckets and ladders. Had an appointment for Thursday, pushed to Tuesday. Received a call Monday afternoon that they wont be available til the third week of March. When i pleaded with Steve to please help us that we are listing our house at the end of the week he laughed. Do not rely on them. Do not trust them. And do not do business with them! It's lighter and brighter throughout my house! My only criticism is that some storms and screens weren't all put back in correctly.

1st State is the best! We had our house, windows, porch lights and gutters cleaned. Everything is beautifully clean! The porch pendants and all windows are sparkling. The gutters look like new. It's so good to have everything clean again after a huge amount of construction dirt from a nearby new development had our home looking horrible. Steve and his assistant arrived in masks and taking proper COVID precautions. They were very professional, arrived early with a call first. They came out to clean our windows and siding today. They were on time, even a little early. Windows are spotless. The two-man crew were very professional using booties inside. They cleaned the algae and mold off the north side of the house. We just bought it but our guess is that the vinyl siding was stained by the summer sun because the previous homeowner had not taken care of the problem. They worked on it for some time and even went up a ladder with a brush. I was more than pleased with the effort and I was stunned when they decided not to charge me for the work. Customer service par excellence. We plan to have them out every spring to clean the algae/mold so that the summer sun doesn't worsen the problem.
