From start to finish, they were professional, punctual, and a pleasure to work with. They were efficient, paid close attention to detail, kept the job site clean, and communicated well throughout the entire project. We set up a day for him to come look over my home and list of things that I needed installed and fixed. Randy gave me a super reasonable rate per hour and we set up far for him to return and work. The day of the job (I was late) he was ready to start and quick to finish the first project. I had a list of about a dozen things. Everything from installing a range hood, rewiring switches, fixing vent fans, doors, windows, toilets..... The list goes on. He finished everything and the sun was still shining. He even noticed that I was missing a few rails on my porch, found them, and secured them back in place. It wasn't my list but he did it anyway. Nice. I have to say that Randy is honest, hard working and very thorough. He works very clean and is very knowledgeable about almost every part of a home. Even mobile homes. I will not hesitate to call him if I need any handyman service in the future. You shouldn't either. If you've got something that needs a handyman's attention, he's the guy! This is my first yelp review. I may sound a little overly enthusiastic but to be very honest I'm glad we found him. Thanks Randy!

Advantage Heating installed the HVAC system in my new construction home. The thermostat started…read moreworking sporadically right before a critical home inspection. Frank was initially booked for weeks, but once I explained the urgency, he shifted his schedule to accommodate me. Not only did he quickly fix the thermostat (a minor, standard adjustment), but he also checked other system components and repaired a duct that a completely different subcontractor had accidentally knocked loose. Anyone who has built a home knows that minor post-construction tweaks are normal, especially when multiple trades overlap. What matters isn't the absence of these tiny adjustments; it's how the company responds. Frank was professional, recognized my urgency, and made my timeline his priority. For that level of service, Advantage Heating deserves 5 stars.

I contacted Duane seeking an estimate to install some electrical heating fixtures in my home…read more When I asked questions about the mechanics and technical application of the system I wanted to utilize. Duane was polite and thoughtful in his explanation, never talking down to me, even though I did not possess an equal understanding of the technical process he clearly was in command of. When I tried to rush myself, feeling I was imposing and taking too much of his time, he calmly assured me it was important to him that I understood what I was asking for, and how it may not best serve me as a viable solution. In fact, to the contrary of a solution, what I sought to install may be instead *counterproductive, and he explained "Why it would be so" pragmatically. Duane identified alternative solutions which were superior, far better suited for my specific circumstance. The solutions however didn't require a electrician, rather, HVAC mechanics. Duane was selfless in his service approach, rather, instead thinking of what I really needed in a practical solution, more so, than what omnipresent part he could play in providing " His service for a fee". He proved himself not only knowledgeable, but also to be a truly honest, altruistic, service professional who's pragmatic and thoughtful nature really helped me to identify the correct solution to my problem, despite it costing him a payday. You do not get this high quality service and professional integrity in many folks these days. Duane is a valued member of our community, who has a technical knowledge and a humble disposition, making him an ideal 1st contact and professional resource when needing to ask questions and be educated on the electrical service you are attempting to contract. He will be my first call for all future electrical service needs. Sincerely grateful, Duane!

I got a few…read moreestimates and his was somewhere in the middle (not the cheapest an also not the most expensive). Pedro explained the process and and also explained the costs and things that might have to be replaced. I also wanted to have some holes cut for skylights and vents and while their company does not do any interior type work, they put the outside parts of the skylights and the new vents in for me exactly where I asked (Pedro even helped me figure out a spot for the kitchen vent when we discovered the location I wanted was too close to a pipe). The time estimate Pedro gave was roughly 10 business days but he and his guys managed to finish a day early, which was great because being in a house while the roof is being put on is awful. I was very impressed by how well the whole operation was coordinated, with the guys work and material arrival and trash removal and running like a well oiled machine. There was also at least one occasion where Pedro did some inspections and made his guys redo something. I don't know exactly what it was but I saw him pointing and talking to his guy and then the guy went and undid a section by the edge of the roof and put new material down. Knowing that Pedro was inspecting for mistakes and making sure his guys did things exactly the way he wanted them done was comforting to know that he was paying attention the quality of the work. Overall the roof looks very nice and I'm very happy with the work, and I would definitely recommend Pedro and his team!
