On time and fast. You can make appointments. Reasonable prices. Clean and pleasant atmosphere.

This place was WAY too expensive for what you got. #1 - they were very clearly talking about us while we were there, pointing and laughing. #2 - this was a very painful experience. One of us was bleeding, one of us had half of our nail torn off, etc. #3 - we were way rushed. It seemed like they just wanted us out of there vs giving us a quality experience. We were in and out for 3 pedicures in 20 minutes for $50 each. I would not go back or recommend this spot to anyone. read more

Terrible experience. The lady doing my pedicure was on her phone the whole time, clearly more focused on that than my nails. When I asked for a simple design--literally the same pink they use for a French manicure with glitter on top--they told me they couldn't do that. Instead, I had to settle for just French tips, which turned out sloppy. When the guy started trimming the tips, the one on my ring finger came loose. I pointed it out twice, and instead of fixing it, he just slapped acrylic over it and said it would be fine. It doesn't feel fine--it feels wrong. On top of that, I'm still cleaning excess acrylic and polish off myself because the job was so messy. They charged me $110 and my daughter $120 for the exact same service. While I don't mind paying for quality work, I have a real problem paying for crappy service--and especially with them overcharging my daughter for the same thing. To make it worse, my daughter had to sit and wait until my nails were finished before they even started hers, even though three employees were just sitting around playing on their phones. Completely crooked and sloppy work. Absolutely not worth the money. read more

If you haven't been in here in a while, give it another shot. I took my girls in for gel manicures and I had a pedicure while I waited on them. By far one of the best pedicures I've had. A few new faces - very friendly. Thank you for a great atmosphere and friendly service. I'll definitely be back. read more

So last time I posted a review my experience was great,I had Mindy the first time and it was awesome. But just this Saturday 6/14/25 I got Kim and let me tell you I was not in the slightest bit happy. She spent more time on her phone then paying attention to my nails, she got acrylic all over my fingers didn't clean it off it took my skin off my finger. My nails are not the same length, most are crooked one way or the other, the top coat doesn't cover most of the nail and you can see the fill line(new acrylic and natural nail). By far absolutely ridiculous and horrible experience. I wouldn't even give it a half a star but ya have to to leave a review read more

I wanted 3 hours to get a pedicure. Idk if it's just because it's in a hole in the wall town or what but in the real cities I wouldn't have waited 3 not 1 hour but 3 hours for a simple F+*#king pedicure which was done half asses and not worth the price at all. Steer clean from this salon establishment if you want something worth it and not wait up to 3 hours read more

I went to this salon for the first time today as I'm visiting family. I have had my nails done consistently for 12 years. This was one of the worst experiences ever. I made an appointment yesterday for 1:00 today for a fill. When I arrived exactly on time and told the owner I was there for my appointment, she said "You sit down and wait". I waited for 36 minutes. Finally I was seated with a very nice gentleman nail tech. He prepped my nails very well. When it was time for the acrylic he asked if I wanted dip. I said again I prefer acrylic for xyz reasons. He spoke to the owner who said I needed to get dip. When I asserted once again I did not want dip, she said "you have to wait then. He doesn't do acrylic." I pushed back asking why she herself gave me a 1:00 appointment to make me wait 36 minutes, seat me with someone who can't do acrylic, then bully me into dip. She claimed it was because she only had 3 extra workers. It seemed to me she felt like acrylic would take too long and wanted me to do dip to get more customers in. I asked for them to simply take my acrylic off entirely, and I would take my business to someone who would respect my time and appointment. After I pushed back, they spoke with each other and magically he was able to do my acrylic. In his defense, he did a wonderful job. It was the owner who treated me like a child/idiot. While I sat there and had my nails done, the owner repeatedly answered the phone telling people there was no wait when there were several people, in fact, waiting for a long time. This owner is rude and disrespectful. She also does not value people's time in any way. Her male employee was lovely and did a nice job. Go to this place if you want to have nice nails but be abused. I have 2 stars because despite the horrid treatment, my nails do look nice. Lastly, my fill was $60. Highest I've ever paid for a fill in 12 years, granted I'm not from this area. For me, no thanks. I'll take my money somewhere else where I won't be treated like a fool. read more

my friend and I went in (we have gone in before) my friend asked a question about pricing and the nail tech couldn't answer so the owner did. She was very rude and told her that if she wanted to ask questions she could go somewhere else. When asked why she would go somewhere else when we were there, they said it wasn't their job to tell prices that's what google was for. She asked if she didn't know the prices, the owner again told her to go down the road. Will not be returning for mediocre job and rude attitude. read more

Yesterday I had a 1:00 appt. The gentlemen who took care of me spoke little if any English. That is not my complaint just in case you have another man working there. He worked diligently. However when he used the metal tool used to remove dead skin (similar to a carrot shredder) he was pretty rough. I winced a few times but didn't cry out or say something. I have regular pedicures no more than 4-6 weeks apart. While my skin needs some sloughing, it was too much. He kindly helped me to the counter to pay and I rather generously tipped him. As I turned to leave I looked down and told him my big toe was bleeding quite a bit all over my shoe. He immediately put antiseptic on it plus a couple of band aids. This morning I went to change the band aid and this is what I saw. Please talk to him about how much pressure he is using. read more

Do not go here if you are disabled and in a wheelchair and just need a nail trim. Apparently they don't do that "because of the blood".??? And do not go here if you aren't disabled because they obviously they don't know what they are doing if all of their customers bleed. read more

Horrible, nasty, disgusting place. I went in at 4 pm and asked for a mani pedi. She told me to sit in a chair, which I had to brush the crumbs out of. The arms of the chair were sticky and nasty. 4 people came in and were seated and pedis were started while I sat patiently waiting. I just figured they had booked ahead. They finally finished my pedi, which they just simply washed my feet and painted my nails, no cuticle removal and just some basic filing, and moved me to the mani station at 6:30. I waited again while they did full acrylics on others while I sat and watched. At 7:20 when she finally came to my station, she informed me she doesn't dip natural nails, you have to get tips. When I told her I didn't want tips, she then told me it was too late to give me a mani because they closed at 7. read more

This place was very gentle when removing my acrylics so my natural nails still look great. It was a Saturday and there was almost no wait. The prices were very reasonable and they also do waxing so I had that done as well. There was another customer who got a natural looking pink/white translucent marble design which were just beautiful! I usually drive to Columbia because nail salons at the Lake are overpriced with RIDICULOUS waits. I went to a popular competitor who made my nail beds bleed after waiting 2 hrs. So glad I finally found my Go-To nail salon at the Lake. read more

Most unprofessional business ive ever encountered! Coming from Scottsdale AZ where were apparently "pampered" in comparison to this town where asking to book an appt is an INCONVENIENCE! Not only did she refuse to book an appt but she insulted me by valuing my own time with my DISABLED child since we can't just go and sit and wait for someone to be available! Complete trash of a salon! Explains their poor reviews! read more

I am a weekender that owns a home here, and perhaps if you are a local Mindy may be nice, but she shooed me out of her salon and told me to get my nails done in St. Louis. She does it "her way" so get out. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. Mindy I believe is the owner, and for an owner of a business to treat customers this way0--absolutely unbelievable. read more

This place may seem rude when you call because they don't make appointments and they have a long wait but it can be worth it if you're patient. Kim gave me a deluxe pedicure that almost made me fall asleep and Mindy is awesome from what I hear. I wouldnt even give them a 1 star. Went in for a pedicure for a white French and silver line under . The man doing my toes did not speak English so I just showed him a picture . He was rough to start , scraping my toes to the point where they where red when I left . Then we he started painting he kept tryna paint my whole toe white and add a silver line . I kept explaining to him that's not what I wanted but he was not listening or understanding. So I asked someone to translate and they all kept ignoring me . To the point where the woman next to me was telling them that they ignoring me . So he kept trying to paint my toes how he wanted and I kept trying to ask him to just take it off and just do a simple color since he did not understand, no one would translate and I was just being ignored . Finally I asked him to take it off and just started crying because I was just being ignored . And the older woman comes at me screaming saying they are ignoring me and not translating because he gets mad when they translate , during our argument he is still trying to put on polish when I keep asking him to take it off so I can leave . Other customers started getting involved telling them that it is not my issue that he yells at them for translating if he is not understanding or listening at all what I'm saying . She literally didn't take off my polish and screamed at me to leave even though I just wanted what I was paying for or atleast a simple color since we had a language barrier. I left their in tears and asked for 20 minutes for them to take off the polish so I could pay and leave . They did not and I ended up leaving with two painted big toes . The customers where very upset with how they handled this when all I wanted was for him to understand what I wanted since he was doing something completely diff !!! I will never go back there again !!! read more

This is my first time coming here and it was a great experience. I didn't have an appointment and waited about 20 minutes. The lady was very polite and removed an ingrown that I deal with every pedicure. She was the first One to remove it without it being very painful anywhere else I've gone. Will definitely be back. read more

I have been a customer here for five years. Recently they've added several male technicians and their pedicures are not good. They are rough and the end result looks less than optimal. So yesterday when I went I ask for Kim to do my pedicure and I didn't mind waiting. They were pretty busy. She told me she had one pedicure in front of me and she'd be right with me. However when she finished that pedicure she went on to another customer. This was the second time that it happened to me that I was not taken according to my turn. So I left. I went a couple blocks down the street and found the nicest and cleanest nail salon. I was so happy with my pedicure. I am so disappointed in the service and quality from Mindy and Kim. read more

Called to set up appointment for a pedicure for my daughter and myself. The lady who answered said she didn't have time to set up an appointment. I went on line and picked the date and time that I was wanting. I got a reply that they had received my request and would get back to me shortly. By the afternoon of the next day, I still hadn't heard from them. I was in Osage Beach and decided to stop by 1st Nail's and see why I hadn't heard from them. The lady in front said she didn't think she would have time to do our pedicure later that week. She was too busy to talk to me. I guess they don't need my business. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. This place is awful. The male working there is rough on the hands. I have never been in pain getting my nails done. At one point he asked if I was okay and I said no you are being very rough...He just said oh okay and continued being rough. He nipped me 3 times with the sander causing me to bleed. He would swat my hand away if it was not in the position he wanted and yank on my fingers and hands to get them in the position he wanted. I asked him 4 times to cut my nails now and he did not. The list goes on and on. Do not go here. read more

I wish I could give a 0! I started going here as a walk-in because they told me they do not take appointments, okay! I get there as their first costumer & they tell me to just sit & wait because people are coming in who have appointments! What?!? You said you don't take appointments, now they tell me to make appointment! I make next appointment with Kim, I get MIndy saying I do for you? Well, she is the owner so ok! U make next appointment with Mindy, many walk-ins come & are taken ahead of me. I speak up & say, I have appointment with you Mindy. Finally I get Ben, who can not speak English well but very nice to do my pedi. Mindy is doing pedi beside us. Ben is working & putting lotion on my legs & telling me something I can not comprehend! I next get young lady for manicure. Mindy comes over & flips out on me & the lady next to me about Ben giving massage on legs & quoting health benefits from goggle! She is obviously upset & loud! I try to explain to her that I could not understand a word he said & I know he is not a physician! She is now talking to the other customers about me! It is very uncomfortable for me to finish up! Then she comes back over & lashes out at me saying, anyone in here can do service for you & keeps getting more angry! I'm not entertaining her silliness, I just say ok! Oh dear lord! This upset my entire day!! Very unprofessional owner!!! The service that I received from the two people was well above any I've ever gotten from her! Needless to say, I will never go back again but I would really like to understand their perspective on an appointment ‍ read more

Rude! Owner was rude and hateful. She was bragging how mean she was. She told me nail art was to much work(even though lists of nail art on page) I waited an hour past my appointment time to be yelled at because I didn't want gel polish. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. My 15 year old daughter went in for her first nail session with a friend while on vacation this morning and the nail tech took total advantage of her because there was not a parent present to overlook what was going on. My daughter asked MULTIPLE times for a gel manicure, the nail tech asked her multiple times what she wanted and my daughter told her GEL MANICURE, the nail tech proceeded to give her acrylics with powder which is a lot more expensive than an gel manicure, just so they could make more money. I will tell ALL of the people that I know that live at the Ozarks and people who vacation there to NEVER go to this place EVER. My daughter said that the nail tech was very pushy and got angry when she could not understand what she was saying. Sorry that your accent along with the way that you speak english is hard to understand! How freaking Rude of you to treat a 15 year old this way!! read more
