She was booked a few weeks out which is always a good sign so I made an appt. A few days before my appt I received a reminder/verification text of my appt which was very helpful. I had very dry and damaged hair and basically gave her free reign with the cut and color choices. She was talkative and kind while highlighting and trimming and the final product was BEAUTIFUL. I am an old grandma lady with thin hair, lots of gray but inside, I'm still the cool chick I always was back in the day. ;o) I really wanted a great haircut but was reluctant to just chop it off. Fast forward to a trip to the Camdenton Courthouse and I meet this lovely lady inside the assessor's office whose hair is totally awesome! She's a bit younger than me and had was rocking some very cool highlights, so of course I asked her, where she had it done. She tells me Jennifer, a young lady at Bella Donna's on the old Business 54. She spoke very highly of her and went on and on about how cool the place was....and it is. I called, got an appt with Jennifer and the rest is history...now I'M rocking the cool hair style (when it's not super flat from the humidity) and I am pretty sure Jennifer will be my hair guru from this point forward. After I arrived, she took me into her booth, and spoke to me for some time, asking me questions about what I liked, what kind of product I used, all the while, touching my hair, pushing it here and there and REALLY listening to what I was saying. After all was said and done, and I had bought some sea salt hair products which I totally love, she also introduced me to the charming and beautiful lady that is the owner. Both of the ladies, are a total class act AND they do it all there, waxing, mani's/pedi's, colors, etc....what an absolute find and a treasure for the community of Osage Beach. BUT…read morefirst the stylist never responded to my texts after our phone call and she never gave me her email, then she said she had changed her phone from one persons plan to her own and never got my texts, at this point she said she was the only one available and could not handle the 8 people (moms and littles included) in my wedding party so then the salon mgr and the owner contacyed nks and they agreed to provide a stylist to cover us along with Taylor from bella. Well, she replyed to the initial texts at that point BUT once again here we were 1 to 2 weeks out and i sent her texts and no reply, yep ghosted again! Worst part was the nks girls communicated and showed up for me but Taylor and bella donna were a complete no show on my wedding day. The other stylist even had to leave a bit early for a family thing that she flat told me she would have made different arrangements for if she had known she would be the only stylist there thankfully the makeup artist was also able to handle the remaining hair styles needed. So, needless to say bella donna let me down twice in 3 months time and they apparently have not done makeup since 2020 but their website says different and according the them its the owner who handles the website. They were a vendor listed on the list Margaritaville gave me and i made sure to let Audrey, the venue event planner, know of the difficulties i had as well as the no show on Sat (3 days ago). I really hope she removes them from the venue's vendor list so no one else has to go through what i did including freaking out 4 weeks before my wedding that i now had no hair stylist. The sad part is that bella had really stepped up initially in reaching out to salons in the area to get me coverage due to their mistake and i was very grateful that they stepped up like that, but in the end i think maybe the primary blame for all this rests squarely in Taylors shoulders. I hate doing reviews and may have done one in my life prior to this but i could not let this go without people being aware that they may experience issues.
