I had a very positive experience with 1st Choice Towing.... My vehicle was stuck at work for a while because something is wrong with the transmission and it wouldn't move one way or the other. I called and they responded quickly. The office said that it would be a while until the tow truck driver could make it there, so I took my time getting back to my car from the house. Turns out, the driver beat me there and was already waiting for me. The guy was very nice and helpful. My vehicle was in a tight parking place that he couldn't get the tow truck into position. After a little work, we were able to get it backed out so he could get a clean shot at it. Thank you so much! read more

Had a great experience. Driving the motorcycle on a warm spring day and my bike broke down in he absolute middle of nowhere. I googled tow services near Me and 1st choice towing showed up. I called and let the lady dispatcher know I needed a tow. She let me know the price up front. Not the grapes tow I ever had but needed to be towed so that's what it is. I sat down and waited for the truck to show up. Adam showed up about 20 minutes later. Adam was very meticulous... every strap was placed deliberately and he pulled it up on the truck. They claim they charge $300 per hour however there is no price listing. They charged me almost $700 even though I arrived when the truck pulled in. Then they told me to wait which was almost a hour. Man alive, I read the reviews on this business and was frightened to go there and pick up my car. From my point of view those reviews were absolutely WRONG. My experience was exactly the opposite. Everyone at this place was very kind and helpful to me. I called around and their prices were in line with everywhere else. The city of Fairview has my car towed here after I was involved in a 10 car pileup on I-75. I was in the hospital for 3 days. I had zero problems getting my car back after I presented proper documentation. If you have anyone backs anyting to First Choice, make sure they put a 1 in front of the fax number. Otherwise they don't receive the fax. Jen was especially nice. Corbin was very helpful as well. I was allowed to retrieve stuff from my car after I gave them the necessary documentation. Don't let those bad reviews scare you. read more

Extremely rude and Extremely unhelpful. I arrived around noon to pick up my vehicle, was told no one could help until 6 pm. So I went back at 6pm. It was the same man there at noon. He took us out to the lot and I could barely see it was so dark, he did not bother to try and shine a light for me to back up the trailer. The people threatened to keep my vehicle and not give it back. I had to call the police to get my property. These people are nasty and have no business doing business with people. I would suggest anyone but these people. I would even suggest not getting your vehicle rather than dealing with these people. read more

The other day my family was stopping to eat. One of the tow trucks was pulling a broke down car out of a parking spot. We stopped to wait for the tow truck. As the tow truck stopped another truck with a flat bed pulled up behind the town truck. My wife decided to drive around the truck into the drive thru. There was plenty of room. The driver of the flat bed began yelling at my wife. He hit the hood of our car with his glove. My wife called the phone number on the truck and the lady who answered was extremely rude. My wife hung up. I then called and spoke to a manager who accused me of lying. He told me the driver was within his rights and feared for his safety. I told the manager we weren't even close to the driver, fact is, he walked to our car and hit it. To make a long story short, the company will never get my business if i need a tow. read more

Have used them a few times and I have nothing but good things to say about them. The first time was for when a tractor came off a friends trailer and they were just great with getting it towed safely and without causing any damage. The other time was just for a tow to the shop. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY By far the worst experience I've ever had in my life I had a very close family friend pass away in a auto accident and his family asked me to help find his vehicle since I worked in the Towing industry before So I called around to a few different Towing Places they were all very nice to and let me know they did not have the vehicle I call here to 1st choice a lady answers the phone and right off the bat is extremely rude and said there's nothing she could do for me since I did not own the vehicle I explained to her the situation She started yelling at me and again and again very very rude and I explained to her I understand I cannot access the vehicle since I do not own it or have paperwork linking me to the vehicle she kept interrupting me and yelling at me as I was telling her this all I was trying to do is locate the vehicle ...which there are no laws saying that you can't tell someone if the vehicle is there or not Then she began rambling on yelling the entire time I kept trying to explain to her what was going on and then she hung up on me by far the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life I would never use this company or wish my worst enemies to use this trash of a company and honestly if I was Fairview PD I would be ashamed to have this company working with us as they are giving them a bad name and are hell to work with. And I will be contacting the TDLR about this experience in reading some of the reviews it looks like some of you should do the same and reading some of the other yelp post they are breaking laws if you've had a poor experience with this company I recommend you I strongly recommend you to contact the TDLR about this company read more

I was broken down in the middle of the highway in a very dangerous spot, frantically called the first tow company to pop up on google. The lady I spoke to was reassuring and kind. The towtruck driver was very friendly. They did not gouge my wallet as towing companies have done to me in the past. This is absolutely the most inefficient place I have ever visited. This place should be shut down, as the workers are not only extremely disrespectful, but it is missing the point of towing: to uphold the law. Horrible! They convinced me to let them take possession of my car to their yard instead of to my own house until I determined who would be doing the repairs. They said the insurance wouldn't cover if they took it to my house. When the collision repair place started to go get my car they refused to allow them to have MY CAR and now I get to pay an extra day! These people are scammers! RUN RUN! Now I can't even get my own car without paying an extreme amount of money! They lie and steal! Stick with Ropers Wrecker- family owned and operated! I would never recommend this company, driver did not check with my son as to if he needed anything out of the car. After an accident people are scared and not thinking straight. By the time we left the Dr and drove home, my sons passenger realized his keys were in the car. I called the office and was put on hold several times by a young lady whom obviously knew not a darn thing about the company. I asked to speak to a manager, when she got on the phone it was pure rudeness, poor English, and really did not give a darn about our situation!!! This young man could not get into his home or his vehicle to go to work in the morning. We asked if someone could get the keys out and put in mailbox, nope have to give to identification from vehicle owner, ok that is understandable, we asked if someone could meet us there, it was right at five and they closed at five, we were about 45 minutes away!!! Called them late at night for an emergency tow. They said that they would arrive in 45 minutes, and arrived about 5 minutes early. The dispatcher was wonderful and went out of her way to assure me. Danny, the tow truck driver, was polite and respectful! He quickly loaded up the car, and met us about 10 minutes later at home to drop off the car. Due to mechanical issues, the car no longer has power steering, and Danny even helped to get the car into a parking space when he could have just dropped of the car and left. I would recommend 1st Choice Towing to all of my friends and family. They truly went above an beyond and did not raise the price after the quote was given! My car was towed by these crooks because they were the closest to the scene of the accident. BEWARE of this place. The woman named Ann and the rest of the employees are RUDE , disrespectful and will do everything in their power to delay the proper legal pickup of your vehicle. This woman made it impossible for my auto shop to pick up my vehicle. She would not speak with the insurance people or the auto shop and made every attempt to keep my car locked up in her yard, stating that she did not make the rules...she also overcharged my auto shop for pick it up. She would not let them pick it up making excuses after excuses even after I sent her the proper forms. After days of this nonsense, I told her I would call my lawyer and would let all my friends know on Social Media, she hung up the phone and all of a sudden the car was able to be picked up. Funny how that worked. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They want to keep your car for as long as possible or even keep it for their own advantage. read more

my son and his friend are on their way to get his belongings from his vehicle. they had a blowout and the car they are in was overheating. i called asked to speak to the owner luann or not sure what here name was a very vulgar rude white lady. she said he had 60 days. i let her know he was nota able to go and did not have the funds to go when he told her he would go. everyone that agreed to take him would change their mind driving from sa to dallas tx. i let her know they have been on the road since 4am with all the incidents happening. if maybe they could give a 20-30 min lee way and she said no.. very cold business owner . i have read her reviews and can see why... i asked her very nicely and kindly again and she stilll refused... . i asked the young lady who answered before she gave her my call, what time do they close and she said 5pm, but to pick up property ends at 3pm. no where on their site do i see this stated. i guess she does what she wants as it is her business and own rules. i hope she nor her family ever end up in a situation like this, or poor and broke or no funds at the moment.. we all have our dog days ma'am and may the mighty god forgive you 10 times fold and give you a gentle heart instead of a cold blooded heart! and when your tow company close it's doors due to your arrogance and vulgar rudeness. you will hopefully understand, the terms when you do wrongs to people... just a note he had no choice. this is where they took his vehicle... our phone conversation ended with her "telling me, us you to get over it" an owner who use theses remarks to people who have gotten their property impounded "with get over it" should not be in business... read more

Do not hire these low miserable people. I hired them after I was t boned by a typical horrible Dallas driver. They broke the law! They would not allow me to get my insurance from the glove box they guy took the key came back and said it wasn't there. I told them it was against the law to not allow me to retrieve it they kicked me out of there office then had some dude armed with a .45 watch me. I had to go get another copy of my insurance then they told me they didn't have the key to my car that the driver had it and was on a call. So I had to come back again with my spare. This place is not close to where I live. It's a hour trip one way so to have to come back out was a big inconvenience in time and gas. Told them they should reimburse me in someway. They said why? I told them why then they said it was my fault. Keep in mind I chose them it wasn't like I was parked in a towing zone or something. The fat short ugly lady behind the counter is the rudest pos ever. A complete miserable human being. I guess she is the owner and can see why this company has so many bad reviews. She gets off on making you jump through hoops and making you angry. They deserve no stars. This place has the rudest employees I've ever especially since they are violating TDLR laws when it comes to releasing vehicles. By law if you take in vehicles 24 hrs a day you must release them 24 hrs a day with 1 hrs notice. I wasn't upset or mad whatsoever about the car being impounded I realize it's their job. However when I called immediately after getting the call that their had been an arrest and the car was impounded so I could start the process of getting it picked up. This was at 5:37 am I was told call back we aren't open and hung up on. I then called back around 9:30 am and was told she and everyone else was sleeping call back in 3 hrs. This went on and on. Once I paid the bond and got the owner out of jail he called Sunday morning and was told he had to wait until Monday. I eventually explained I know the laws we were told one hr upon arrival there were other ppl there to pick up who had also been denied a 1 hr release the previous night causing them to have to pay additional fees and once the lady arrived she was rude and hateful. If they have done this to u please file a complaint with the TDLR against them. read more
