We are staying at Grand Casino and decided to stop in here for dinner. They were having a sirloin steak dinner special and at least one person on every table was eating that but we ventured to the menu. I chose the batter fried shrimp which really was breaded and fried. The shrimp were filet style so they were flat. It came with choice of potato (fries, baked, or mashed) and I chose baked. My meal was just ok. Lots of breading on the shrimp. Carrots were the veggie side (not too hard to boil baby carrots) with no flavoring. Table service was great. I think his name was Jeremy and he was working hard. He did a great job. I had a boasted chicken dinner. Not very good food at all. It looked like leftovers warmed up to lukewarm at best. Potatoes were bland and had a cream sauce on it instead of a gravy. I've eaten here all week breakfast lunch and dinner so I have a pretty good clue of what quality service and food preparation should look like. I've not been disappointed for two breakfasts I've had the wild rice bacon and mushroom omelette. They use real Swiss cheese presented at a half a plate 4 egg omelette with massive amount of American fries. The total cost is $10 which is a bargain in for fact it's in a casino upscale restaurant. We were staying over and thought this menu had a wide variety of items to meet our needs. We shared the short ribs sandwich and it was so delicious! I ate every single bit. The meat was tender and fell apart, it had kind of a mushroom like sauce and onions. We ordered the onion rings also because we've just had too many French fries recently. On Wednesday December 18 my friends and I stopped in for the 9.99 Prime Rib special. Our waiter was Jesse and he delivered top notch service. Our dinners were prepared perfectly and his kindness put an extra polish to a nice evening. We never had to worry about signalling for a refill or even a to-go box. Waitress Muriel, was slow in getting to our table. We ordered country fried steak plate and chicken pesto pasta. 20 minutes waiting for the food. When food came the chicken pesto pasta was correct But ribs were brought to the table. We did not order thos. Muriel tries to give us the ribs Again. Return the food Now ots 45 minutes and no food. Muriel canbto the table asking us (now 3 time) telling her what we ordered. She came back a 4 time stating she put the order in as a rush. She felt overjoyed that she was getting her mistake right. Never asked us if we wanted a refill on our drinks. She ignored us when the food arrived by someone else, until she gave us the bill $20 Was to be taken off the bill per our entry to the casino also we were billed for 2 salads . Total.bill was $30.
