My soup was brought out almost 5 minutes after the others. The drinks were brought out after the soup and one of our drinks was missing. The baked potato soup was soupy with hardly any potatoes in it. My medium steak was rare and had to be sent back. The prime rib was served without horseradish and we had to remind her to bring it. The prime rib was cold upon arrival. Our table did not have any condiments (the other tables all had a condiment stand with ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, etc.) and none were ever offered our brought. Oh, and by the time she returned for me to send my steak back, the others were pretty much done eating. When the server brought our check, she did apologize for our inconvenience, but no effort was made to comp our bill or ensure our satisfaction. (We were so ready to go at this point we did not ask for a manager). So disappointing... And they really weren't all that busy.

Though they are just a cooked from frozen patty they must toast and butter that burger bun and it's just the burger taste great! They do not have a large menu but typical bar food. I haven't been here since last winter, but since I was last here they have expanded the building and double the seating area and have done some other upgrades. This place is definitely full of locals and everyone is going to stare at you when you come in. It's super uncomfortable but it stops after a few minutes. I have easily been here at least 30 times and will continue to come here. I love these little family own bars. And eating and drinking here supports a small community business.

Mind you....we were sitting on the restaurant side, not the bar side. Just added to an already bad experience. Rough-Cut needs more and higher quality wait staff and a smaller menu that they can actually fill. Timely and of quality.
