I ordered the quesabirria tacos--they came three for $15, and they were very good. The green salsa was great, though I wish it was a little spicier. The other salsa wasn't my favorite; it had a different flavor and was extremely spicy. That said, I loved the tacos--they were packed with meat and cheese, which was awesome, especially when dipping them into the consomé. The staff were super friendly and had great personalities. The food came out in about 10 minutes, which was perfect. It's a cute food truck with lots of decorations that really add to the vibe!

Somehow, YELP brought me to this truck on a Tuesday in late March…read more Since I was in a pinch, I decided to be brave and dial the number for a takeout order. Fortunately I was greeted with an energetic HOLA! at the other end and upon recognizing my broken spanish, they immediately pivoted to english to take my order. I went with a fish taco, a carne asada gordita, and a pair of deshebrada tacos and a pair of pastor tacos. Upon arriving, they had my food ready quickly after I paid. Got back to my hotel and chowed down. The fish taco is absolutely awesome; really packed with intense flavors from the slaw, sauce, and the juiciness of the fish. The fish is pretty thick and worth the price. The gordita is delicious as well and still piping hot when I got back. As for the tacos, those are tasty as well although smaller than I imagined for the price being paid. I plan to hit up this truck again next time I'm in the College Station/Bryan area. I understand why this is a favorite amongst the locals here and for good reason.

Authentic Texas barbecue in Aggieland! The brisket and rib, ribs and pork belly, collard greens,…read moreranch beans were fantastic! Great hospitality, fast, affordable, and clean. Being asked where I was from before I opened my mouth made it all that more authentic!

While the food is worth 4 stars, the lack of customer service brings it down to a 3 star level…read more I'll talk food first, then customer service. I ordered the two meat plate with brisket and sliced pork belly. I loved the flavor of the pork belly. It was cooked well, and the outside had a savory, yet sweet taste that was so good. The brisket I had and the sausage and ribs my husband had were average and not memorable. The pickled onions helped them taste better. I appreciated the monthly side special - green bean casserole and sweet potato casserole. Both were delicious and quite filling. My husband liked the mashed potatoes he selected. My child, who normally eats all the French fries first left quit a few, so I'm guessing the tenders tasted better. As for the customer service, hardly anyone behind the line or at the register looked like they wanted to be there. The girls at the register charged us for an extra cup although a small one came with the kid's meal. Then the music. I expected country music (even though I'm not a huge country music fan). Rock music was playing, and while I love Stone Temple Pilots, hearing "Creep" around Noon at a restaurant on a Sunday morning was different. If I come back to C&J's, I'll probably head to a different location.
