It's a fun and classy speakeasy inside of Tin Man on George Dieter. They keep their location hidden on social media...I guess because it's a speakeasy? I think the concept is cute and fun. I almost felt like I wasn't in El Paso anymore! They have cute Japanese knick knacks and decor. There's only two tables and a small bar area. This is probably why it's hard to get a reservation. You can make a reservation by messaging them on Facebook or Instagram. If they don't get back to you, give them a call at Tin Man. They're open Thursday-Saturday from 7pm to 2 am and Sundays from 2-9 pm. Before Origami Sake Bar, I've only had sake a couple of times straight and...it was super strong. It almost knocked me out of my seat! This is coming from a lady who could drink Tequila like water. Those days are long gone btw. However, this sake bar changed those previous experiences for me. Why? Because they offer a combination of sweet and strong drinks. I had to have a sweet drink so I went with the Grogu. Forgive me, I can't remember what exactly was in it. If you like boba tea, this is the drink for you. It had a lot of boba balls in it. The Yoda stein holds a lot of drink and it stays cold. I was good with just this one drink. FYI: The drinks are not happy hour prices. My tab was $17 and change for one drink. I almost asked for a growler of Sangria from Tin Man instead. I'm not saying the drink was bad because it wasn't. I'm sure I was paying for the novelty of the stein and bar. The place doesn't offer any food. You can eat before or after...or bring your own. Sake it to me El Paso! Yes... there's a hidden Sake bar speakeasy in El Paso, and it's gorgeous, along with my girlfriends that came out to check it out with me. It was a bit difficult to get an RSVP, I messaged them thru their FB page, but they didn't respond so I ended up calling the location which was Tin Man and they got me connected to RSVP. After that they were super responsive and gracious. We ended up having 8 ladies show up but at different times and they were nice enough to let us stay until the next reservation showed up at 10pm. We had a great time, drinks were strong and unique. Only things I would recommend to change are getting a better menu QR, it made you download the menu instead of just showing you, and not mixing the popping boba and regular boba in the drinks as it's a HUGE choking hazard, especially when drinking alcohol. I would definitely recommend this place for a cute night out or date night. They let you bring outside food in and we brought Riva's carne asada fries and nachos. The layout of this establishment really does contribute to its ambiance and how comfortable it makes you feel, welcoming you in with a hug almost! The staircase leading upstairs is pleasant, as well as the vibe downstairs. The board games are a plus if you're with a group of people or just a pair. Others can be seen doing some work, enjoying the Frank Sinatra sounds or just the whole ambiance itself. I went during the World Cup, it was showing and everyone had a great time! I've been back a few times since then and each visit is one to remember. A great cigar is only part of the experience. The lounge, the service, and the atmosphere matter just as much. The liquor collection is nice, humidor is spacious (rules to follow as pictured), and comfortable seating. The staff is knowledgeable and receives a 5/5 for customer service, knowledge and overall engagement. Since being in El Paso this summer this has been my go-to spot! If you're reading any of my El Paso posts, it seems like everything is right down the street from my hotel. But I digress. So I was super excited to go to this amazing little cigar lounge and bar. When you first enter you are greeted with a very warm and inviting interior, big glass case with all of the cigar accoutrement you could want. Go up to the front counter, if you're going to stay and go upstairs to the lounge which has a full bar, you need to drop off a credit card at the front desk and start a tap. You can put cigars and drinks and what not on there. The humidor is really good sized, tons of brands that I had never heard of before... In fact, the only brand that I had heard of that They carried was Fonseca, which is a damn good cigar in its own right, but I wanted to try something different. After going through the selection, I finally found one that looked good based on the owner's recommendation. One cool thing about this place is the owner is not afraid to sit and talk with you about cigars. We probably had a good 25-minute conversation about different brands and how the market has changed over the years. My friends finally arrived and so we headed upstairs to the lounge. It's a really nice and comfortable leather chair vibe with a full bar, so we grabbed a bourbon, and sat down to enjoy our smokes. We ended up being there for over 3 hours, as it was just such a cool laid-back place to hang out. Lot of people came and went while we were there and the staff was very kind and courteous to them. It definitely made for a fun and enjoying environment Bottom line? If you are looking for a good cigar lounge that also incorporates a full bar you could do no better than to check out this place when you are in El Paso!

There is room to sit at the bar, a high tops away from the bar, and outdoor seating - for the short fall and winter in El Paso. She loved the salty/bitter martini (not so much me Lol) and I really liked my Chupa, although about half foamed out of the glass (see vid).
