Looked for a place that was open late on a Friday night, and 1860 hit the spot. Erica greeted us warmly and the menu looked extensive. We stuck with pizza and shared a half hula girl and half sausage mushroom and onion. Crust was firm and how I like it. The spicy hula girl was so flavorful - I don't usually do pineapple on pizza but with the pulled pork and spicy sauces it worked perfectly! The whole little Main Street area of Bridgeport looked like something we would want to explore another time. So glad we found these guys. TVs for football, a well stocked bar, and great pizza! High schoolers showed us as we were leaving but they were polite and not rowdy - ha! read more

Not sure if this is the old 1860 as the new name is 1860 Slice House. Obviously, you can order by the slice or whole pizzas. We tried take out with a 18" Meat Lovers pizza and what a sight to see. Large, thick pepperoni, Canadian bacon, beef, bacon and quarter size balls of Italian sausage on a nicely sauced pizza crust. While not my favorite crust, I had to take into account we drove for 45 minutes after picking it up. The only negative (which I love) is trying to fold a slice and take a bite is tough because the three balls of sausage rolled right off the slice. Fixed it by breaking them up so they wouldn't roll! Great taste. Sauce and cheese were just right and the bottom crust was very nice, held together under the weight of the toppings but still gave a soft mouth feel. Loved the pizza! Mozzarella sticks appeared be freshly made: great breading and soft, warm cheese. Excellent side dish. Service was right on, it was ready we when showed up three minutes early, greets warmly and checked out within four minutes. Dining area was clean, TVs not too loud and lighting wasn't too bright. We will go back after I finish off the leftovers. Best pizza in town for sure. read more

This place is Great! Named after the founding of the town, in case you were wondering, it's a tiny little place that has everything a growing boy needs... game on the TV, ice cold beer, and 1/2 and 1/2 pizza with Jalapeño Popper and Buffalo chicken! Who needs to make a decision before a beer, right? No fancy review here: Hand-tossed crispy-bottom pizza, good beer, good music, good friends. 5 STARS read more

Service was good- quick, on top of things but not overbearing. The kinds of pizza they offer are fun and the flavors were good. We ordered the white, pulled pork, and brisket pizzas. They offer a gluten free option, too, which was a plus. My complaints about the pizzas were that the crust did not seem to be homemade. They looked/felt/tasted like the premade ones you can buy at a grocery store. They also could have been cooked a little longer- the crust was still pale and floppy. And they were very, very greasy. Like grease was literally running down my arm when I picked up a slice. My brother in law ordered some naked wings, though, and those were outstanding. Without the wings, I probably would have given them 3 stars. I don't know that I would go back for the pizza again, but I would very enthusiastically order more wings from them. read more

I ordered two large pizza's 1) pepperoni and olives 2) ham and pineapple The pepperoni and olive were put together in a haphazard way; the pizza paste was spread out in clumps and with very little olives. The pineapple pizza the same way with only half the pizza with pineapple. The pizza was crust stale tasted like it was made the day before, the crust was burnt and the pizza uneditable. The person behind the counter was unkempt and appeared like they didn't want to be there. I was there on the15th of December 2024. It was a waste of $43.00, I will never return. read more

Pizza is amazing. I wish the service was better. I've ordered two times and both times the Bridgeport location messed up. furst time it was almost an hour before I received my pizza. The second time I ordered online I did not receive confirmation of my order. I went to pick up my pizza and they gave it to another Mary. I think they should get the clients name before they give the pizza to them. I probably won't be back at Bridgeport location. I've met the owner at The Locality bar when I was there with my daughter and her husband. He's very nice. Maybe I'll try Boyd 1860 location next time. read more

Love this place. They have a salad bar that you can either get one salad or multiple and all the food here is excellent. The pizza and wings are cooked perfect. The only thing I personally don't prefer is the fountain drinks but I just opt for the water. Other than that it's always a great vibe with good service read more

Service was outstanding but the pizza was average for us. It was good, but not something I'd crave. I have several friends though that crave this pizza. To each their own. I can promise you one thing though, you won't be disappointed with the service. read more

Traveling in area and stopped in the historic downtown area of Bridgeport Texas and found 1860 pizza. Kyle the owner greeted us as we walked in the door. Kyle was very attentive in regards to a few things. We got our drinks to start off and we were given ample time to discuss our options in regards to the pizzas. We ended up going with the jalapeño popper pizza which was fantastic. Corn meal on the bottom of a pizza is the only way to go. Thin crusted. And cooked just right. A little crunch but def not burnt. Perfect. We also ordered the brisket pizza. (Yes we took one whole medium pizza home lol). Same results with the brisket pizza. The pizza you could tell was made with care as the brisket pizza had bbq drizzled throughout. But it had appeal to it. Not just dumped onto the pizza. Highly recommend this place whether your a local or traveler. Was great to have conversation with the owner who you could see was working really hard at growing his business. For a pizza shop that has only been open for 7 months i give him big props. And yes we are a bit of pizza snobs. Everybody has their thing don't judge us. Lol. As far as the ambiance it reminded us of home. So it was perfect. Tables were clean. Floor was clean. Loved the table designs and of course the American flag over the bar was a nice touch. Beer was cold as well. Keep up the great work Kyle you are headed def in the right direction. read more
