The liquid part was kinda "meh" for me. I think the best thing we ordered was the matcha soft serve ice cream. On the flip side, there was a guy playing piano there and they were taking requests. I suggested Demon Slayer and the guy played the famous "Gurenge" song by Lisa from season one of Demon Slayer. That was kinda cool. He was a very good pianist. Great way to liven the atmosphere. The only thing they have going for them is a lack of much competition in this area (for canto style desserts). Location is not great either - its in Little Saigon on Kingsway with not much else nearby to draw you here and its not good enough on its own to make a trip out here just for this. e.g. you come to this area for viet-specific groceries or Banh Mi take out - a little weird to have a Canto dessert hangout spot here. Street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood for free. The restaurant itself is clean and modern designed. We…read moregot the mango pomelo sago ($8.99) and black sesame ice cream w/ fresh mang ($9.99). the pomelo smelled really fresh and went well with the mango, sago was also chewy and the dessert overall wasn't too sweet. the black sesame one however, was not as good. the ice cream kinda hardened the sago that was inside so it felt like i was biting into uncooked sago lol, kind of an oversight on their part. the black sesame flavour was nice, but combined with the milk it was way too sweet.
