My two experiences with this store have been so positive, I feel called upon to write a review. The…read morefirst time, I had a very, very large box, with just a few items that I couldn't fit inside. I arrived with the box and the loose items and the very kind clerk found a second box, finished the packing and taped everything up. It arrived in Ottawa on time, with all items in good shape. I considered the price to be very fair. The second time, I had only one item, and wanted it to arrive the next day. I started to pack it, but ran out of tape. I had a different clerk this time, but he was equally kind and helpful. He asked my permission to redo the packing and the final result was a perfectly wrapped parcel. It travelled from Vancouver to Ottawa in just under 24 hours. I felt the cost was less than it would have been at the post office and the service was absolutely superb. I highly recommend this store and its staff members!

Once again they prove their incompetence. I provided a clear forwarding address, but when I…read morereceived the iShip notification, there was no address on it. For $186 mail forward, price, I expect service. do not use this location if you have mail or documents of value. And I've been a customer for 10 years+. Upon my return to Vancouver I will end this stress and find a professional mailbox service.

Want a third attempt? $10. Want to change the shipping address to your work? Another fee. Want to pick it up anywhere close to where you live? Nope. Off to Richmond you go! Makes you think living by the airport isn't such a bad idea after all. Easy Ship my arse. Use Canada Post. Update (1 hour later): Okay.. Well now I feel like I have to update my original post, as they just called me (from the airport, not the 1-855 arsepole I first spoke to) and made it right. (it's like they read my review... creepy) Anyway, after explaining that I wrote instructions, just like they tell you to, on the 1st Attempt Notice, (to just leave it in the apartment lobby if I wasn't home) the lady explained that they "aren't Canada Post" (again.. like they read it) and don't leave parcels in apartment lobbies. So, I explained that since that particular policy is not written on their Attempt Notice (they do have examples like "between doors or the garage") then how can they charge me for another attempt or change of address when I thought I was doing everything right? Long story short.. she took my work address and will hopefully deliver it free of charge to my workplace tomorrow. So another gold star for them for making it right. But that's it. My original advice still stands.. use Canada Post if you can because Loomis is no better than the rest of them.

They also tried to deliver at 1:30 in the afternoon both times, despite me saying I'm not home at that time. They won't schedule for a certain time, they won't leave the parcel at the front door (despite not requiring a signature) and charge if you want them to try again or ship elsewhere, like your employer. When I contacted them, I was told it was undeliverable because they didn't know my buzzer number. If they had just looked at the board beside the buzzer, my name is right there at the top. It's unfortunate because not only will I never use Loomis again, I won't order from the company I ordered through simply because they use this horrible delivery service.

Monday jan. 13 I received a notice at midday notifying me that the Delivery has been rescheduled for January 14, 10:45 - 2:45. 6. Parcel arrived on January 14. UPS played fast and loose with my time, since I had to remain at home awaiting the delivery. Moreover, if I wanted to change the delivery date I WOULD HAVE TO PAY! AND THIS, EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD CHANGED THE DAY OF DELIVERY. UPS has conveniently [for themselves] shifted everything to AI so there is no one we can talk with. They just lock you in their schedule and change it without any concern to your time. My letter to the CEO of UPS Carol Tome did not get a response. If there are others out there who have also suffered the same indignity, perhaps it's time we did something. We could start by writing to the politicians and the media. I believe that airlines now have to indemnify passengers fot flights delayed beyond a certain time and can be fined by the appropriate board. Why should something similar not apply to courier Services? I certainly intend to forward my complaint!
