He and his boy were on time, actually asked if he could come early, which was fine with me. Dusty was obviously much better than the original hauler, who canceled at the last minute on me. They were respectful of my furniture and home, being very careful not to cause any damage. I could also see that they were meticulous in securing items on the truck and trailer, so it wouldn't end up on the roadside somewhere. When I saw that he had extra space on his truck and trailer, I asked if he could also take some additional items for disposal. Dusty was very accommodating for accepting extra items I wanted gone. AFHHS responded by visiting in a couple of hours and providing a preliminary assessment. A deep dive evaluation was scheduled for later in the week. The technician who arrived was very knowledgeable and thorough in his evaluation, pointing out a couple of things that contradicted the original evaluation by the first company. Although the AF technician indicated the furnace was a bit undersized for the square footage of our home, he said the furnace was in reasonable condition for being 11 years old. He recommended a thorough cleaning of the furnace in the spring before committing to purchasing a new furnace. We are very pleased with the results of calling AFHHS and will be looking forward to their service in a few months.
