I never even got a thank you for purchasing the vehicle. This place treats you more like a number instead of being a customer. I vowed that I would never do business with kunes but decided to give them another chance and here I am again, a statistic that means nothing. My business will go elsewhere from now on!! Recently, I was going camping in Devil's Lake and, on the way, my van broke down outside of Madison. Luckily, I found out there was a Van Horn in Stoughton to which I was able to get towed. Being without your home when your vehicle breaks down is definitely a concern when living in a van. Thank God, I still had bumper to bumper through Van Horn as my van had "catastrophic engine failure" along with some related parts that also needed to be replaced. I understand that there is a warrentee process and that parts are very hard to get with back orders, delivery, and whatnot. Despite this it did only take 3 weeks. But what makes me give this Van Horn my 5 star rating is specifically because of Bob Bailey in the service department. He continually called with any updates, was cordial and calming, and even to the point where after everything was finished, he called the next day to check how the van was doing. Thank you Bob. Your communication and concern did not go unnoticed.

The next day, my wife and I went to Russ Darrow Dodge and had the opposite experience. Extremely helpful and friendly. We left there feeling like a valued customer. Meanwhile, Thu/Fri/Sat/Mon all passed without any contact from Van Horn. Monday morning (Apr 20) my wife/I went back to Russ Darrow and worked out a purchase. Our 2026 Dodge Durango RT 392 was ordered. Monday afternoon, I received an email from Myhra (sp?) about my experience at Van Horn and I sent her my thoughts. Late Tuesday, I missed a call from Spencer S, asking if I'd be willing to share my experience with him. I returned his call, left a message saying I would be willing to do that and hung up. NEVER heard back from him/Myhra/Nate/Matthew. With that, I will not follow up with them. While I can't recommend Van Horn, I can happily recommend Russ Darrow Dodge.
