(Ultimately unsuccessful, but I appreciated the effort.) The technician, Bek, was on time, courteous, and very open about explaining everything he inspected. In just under an hour, he was able to diagnose the problem and replace our ice maker, which he had on hand. One small critique-- it caught me a little off guard to see a tip option on screen when making my payment, but in this case I obliged, considering how well the whole appointment went. I guess that's just tipping culture these days! ‍

Recently, I had a text dialog with Russ and found out that Fuse service's HVAC systems as well. I agreed to an annual maintenance plan, but didn't plan on having them out until fall. A few weeks later, while I was out of town in July, I got a message from my Ecobee thermostat indicating that the A/C wasn't working. I texted Russ about this and he showed up after 6PM on a Saturday, the same day I texted him about the issue! He figured out what was wrong right away and just folded the service call into my annual service plan which was, as before with the dishwasher, very generous and much appreciated. I'm literally excited to have Fuse Service as my go to place for appliance repair and HVAC maintenance. I'm used to businesses asking me to write positive Yelp reviews and I don't mind that. But, Fuse did not ask me to write my review.

It was a bit of a tricky job due to the trim being arched, which meant it had to be traced and cut appropriately. I had the pleasure of contacting David, whom I asked several questions of how he would go about the process and I felt very comfortable with everything he walked through. He scheduled the work for a couple weeks out, text notifications let me know when he would be arriving and he was able to complete everything within a few hours. David cut the replacement beautifully using PVC so there is no maintenance on it in the future and caulked / sealed up all points of exposure to rain. He was very efficient, kind, and answered all the questions I had since I'm learning to do these kinds of tasks on my own. The pricing was extremely competitive and there's no question that I'll have David back pretty soon for other jobs around my home that I'm not comfortable handling. Coming highly recommended from my HVAC service, I went with Mr. Duct for a full duct cleaning. They were easy to schedule with, provided great info up front, and were professional throughout the appointment. They even showed before and after pictures in select ducts! I did have one issue after the appointment that I still have not really had any follow-up on... I emailed after the visit to share that the vacuum, where it was placed, had killed a spot in our lawn (see pictures). I contacted them a few days after the visit and didn't hear any kind of response. Then, 15 days later, I received a voicemail regarding my issue. I've returned the call a couple days later but was told the rep that contacted me was gone for the day. That was nearly a week ago. In all, I'd recommend Mr. Duct but would caution you as to my experience with customer service. Perhaps withhold payment until you can confirm that everything was satisfactory (a reasonable ask as the credit card machine was not working during my visit and they had to call me later when it was).
