We stopped in as a party of three and had a great experience. I ordered the Club, made with fresh-cut deli meat on toasted sourdough, and it was fresh, filling, and delicious. The toasted sourdough was a great touch. We also tried the funnel fries with caramel drizzle for something sweet, and they did not disappoint! What really stood out during our visit was our server. We visited on Monday, September 21 around 11:30 a.m., and from what I could see, she appeared to be the only server working both the inside and outside tables. Even with everything she was handling, her service to our party of three was impeccable. She remained attentive, professional, and pleasant, carrying herself with a smile, grace, and strength throughout our entire visit. What impressed me even more was that she never complained or mentioned that she was working by herself. She simply kept moving and made sure her guests were taken care of. This was my first time visiting 10th Inning. Since the actual cook had not arrived yet, I may not have gotten the full experience. The server was nice. She was the hostess and server because the staff was low. I wanted Mac n cheese but there were out. She said the bartender made our food. I ordered the grill cheese burger medium. It came back well done. I decided not to send it back because I would have to wait on a new burger. Since they did not have the Mac n cheese I wanted I got fries. They came out hot and fresh but were not cooked long enough. You could still taste the doughy taste in the center. My husband's fries were a little cold, but they were fully cooked. His burger was cooked correctly to medium as well. Because this was not the normal cook, I don't mind going back to get the real deal. read more

This is a good news bad news situation. We ordered for delivery through Grubhub. It came relatively timely. The good - the food was pretty good. Club sandwich was a thick triple decker of meats cheese crispy bacon and veggies. Catfish po' boy and hush puppies did the trick. However it was supposed to come with a creole rémoulade and pickles. The rémoulade and pickles must not have been told they were part of the order because they did not make the trip. Maybe the pickles and rémoulade ran off for a night of passion or something, I dunno, all I can tell you is they wasn't no pickles or rémoulade in the order. The fielder burger was a good basic b burger but it didn't come with the onion and pickle as advertised. Sides of fries, onion rings, and broccoli were pretty good no complaints there. Ordered 2 appetizers to start, Bavarian pretzel and southwest egg rolls. Both weee good, pretzel was pretty large but it cost 10 bucks. That ain't no 10 dollar pretzel, hoss. Now - the bad - the chicken Philly sandwich. What can I say about the chicken Philly sandwich? Nothing. That's what I can say about it - nothing. Wanna know why? Because it wasn't in the order. The missing rémoulade and pickles absconded with the chicken Philly I guess. Be on the lookout for a chicken Philly accompanied by creole rémoulade and pickles. I did contact the delivery service and they did refund the cost of the chicken Philly but that in no way absolves the restaurant of not including it in the order. It was on the receipt. Just straight up left off. Attention to detail. It's a common theme in my reviews and it's a bit of a pet peeve. Some modicum of quality control and attention to detail please FOR THE LOVE OF PETE. We'll try again but... We went on September 4 for brunch because we like this place and have been a few times before. I didn't write a review at that time but then saw something come up on my FB page so I thought I'd take a minute to type one up. Like I said, we went for brunch on the 4th. We've liked it so much in the past that we took advantage of "sweet deals" and got $50 in gift certificates. We went in and the place wasn't packed but they were getting busy and the patio was getting more people too. We found a table and sat down and noticed another table of 6 was sitting down next to us at the same time. We sat and waited as a server went to tables within 2 or 3 tables of us and picked up money that was left. We also saw another server follow up and clean those tables. We sat there over 10 minutes with not so much as a "I'll be with you in a minute". We left and the table beside us left too. I don't know about the other table that left but, we tip very well to anyone who is working at this point. We appreciate anyone that wants and keeps a job nowadays. I tried to temper my expectations on a place that is clearly a bar first. The music is always way too loud and the place is dirty and sticky. We were seated and I asked if there was a beer list and the response was "no I'm sorry there is not" I had to leave my table and walk to the bar to look at the beers on tap. I don't know if our server was new or what, but very limited knowledge of the drink menu and just showed us a list of what the iPad had on it so we could order. Our apps came out a bit slow but we had to ask a couple times for napkins and silverware. When it came to the actual meal....disappointing doesn't even cover it. Half of our items didn't come out and she said another server took one and the cook didn't know how to make the other so they just didn't. She honestly just poured it out and made another out of the same bottle with the flies.. literally watched her pour out 3-4 drinks because of them I ask if that was the only bottle and the answer was "Yes " without checking. Mistake #1 Went at 12:30 on a weekday. Only a few cars in parking lot so figured it wasn't too busy. Mistake #2. Since I was myself I thought I'd sit at bar. Bar seats less than half taken. About half the tables. Where did all these people come from? Mistake #3. Figured out they were mostly residents of adjoining apartments as they kept comings in thru back door. I sat down at bar at 12:35. No one behind bar. Male Manager, dark haired , beard , black 10th inning tee shirt , at the far end chatting with people. By people I assume residents. Never once looked at patrons who were eating and spending time and money. Just mingling with people at far corner of bar, mostly females. Mistake #4. 12:45 and still no one behind bar to take my order. Then I see manager walk out the front door, looks straight at me and never asks if I've been waited on. 12:50, he walks back inn after a phone conversation and as he passes I ask if there is anyone to wait in me. He never said a word but came behind the bar, looked at me and asked what would like. I asked for beer and menu. Then I casually asked, to give them a benefit of doubt, were they short handed. His reply was no, the bartender was in kitchen helping with to go orders.! Mistake #5, I should have walked out then didn't. When did to-go orders become priority over actual, in restaurant, seated customers. 1:00 PM, The bartender appears, greeting, no apologies, just a what can I get you. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and beer with an order of wings to go. 1:05PM. Two men come in and sit beside me. Now the bartender is smiling and fully engaged as she knows the two gentlemen. Gets their drinks and food orders right away. She mentions specials to them but not me. I overheard and before she could get away I ordered 2 plate lunches to go with my sit down at bar salad and wings to go. 1:15, Food and drinks arrive for two guys who sit down 30 minutes after I arrive. 1:25, Bartender appears with 2 to-go bags and check. Still no salad. So now I look at check and I find out my salad and plate lunches are in bags. No wings in ticket. Mistake #6, I should have asked for my salad on plate as ordered and order wings to go , again, while I'm eating. But now I have spent an hour in the place and I'd had enough. CONCLUSIONs: The manager should be fired. If for nothing else than his attitude. Who leaves a bar unattended during lunchtime to handle phone orders? Instead of making sure patrons are taken of, he is just mingling, talking to girls and what I assume are regular's. The bartender, not her fault if managers asked her to help with kitchen orders. But her fault for not paying attention to me when I ordered. She was all over regulars Finally: if you're older than 29 this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for good service this isn't the place for you. I hoped after The Filling Station closed the new owners would make some much needed changes. It has only gotten worse. I will never step foot in this place again. My husband and I decided to have dinner here and we deeply regret it. Service was slow. We had to go find someone to wait on us. Ok, fine. They were busy. The menu was kind of limited but we still found something. We got nachos as an appetizer and we were less than impressed with them. I ordered chicken tenders and fries for my meal. Our food comes and I ate a fry. I notice it tastes weird and my husband checks it out too. They tasted like catfish. One huge issue, I'M ALLERGIC! I had to leave the restaurant and go to the Kroger up the street to get Benadryl. I broke out in hives and my skin started turning red. I made it back and my husband tells me he still hasn't seen the server. When she was finally in our area he waved her over and told her the issue. She nonchalantly confirms they were cooked in the same oil as the fish and "could have accommodated had they know". I have NEVER been anywhere that you had to ask for fried to not be cooked in the same oil as fish. Why anyone would do that is beyond me. What pissed me off further is we got "sorry" from the server but no one seemed concerned that the food here could have caused a way worse reaction had I not caught it in time. She took my food off, but we still paid $35 for food that was less stellar and an allergic reaction. The chips were greasy, soft and cheese sauce was cold. The waitress stayed very occupied talking to some guys. Didnt care much about tending to us. We waited another 25 minutes to get our dinner but really we already knew that it was not coming anytime soon as the one comment our waitress said to us is it may or may not be coming out soon. Lol! A friend at work recommended this place and I am so glad he did! So many times sports bars have terrible food so my expectations were pretty low. How wrong I was! I had a salad with Ahi Tuna. I know, doesn't sound like much to warrant a great review, but I am pretty much a tuna snob. So many places over cook tuna, but not here. The tuna had a great sear on the outside, and was a cool, deep pink in the center. The spices were a perfect complement, and the made in house blue cheese dressing was outstanding. The salad itself was pretty basic, but the bacon crumbles were generous and tasty. My friend had the bang bang shrimp and that too was very well liked. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. However, the manager on 3/5/22 is a non-caring jerk who should find another line of work. I understand the food-service business is a crappy business. I requested they show the UFC fights, but Mr. Manager blew me off and claimed he wasn't "paying for that." Really? You won't pay $75 to keep NINE people with deep pockets spending money at your establishment - not to mention the customer service benefit? No. This dude actually believes he saved money running off a partying table rather than spending $75. It's called "spending dollars to save dimes" and if this place is struggling it's clear why. The rude manager REALLY seems to believe he came out ahead tonight. In fact in cost him AT LEAST $250 for ONE table - and that's conservative. We were ready to order more food and several more drinks. But Mr. Manager "ain't paying for that." Took a jump on a new local joint with the family. This place is really good for a casual quick bite. The prices were very reasonable and the food was good. I was too hungry to photo my dinner but I promise to remedy that on my next visit. Yes that's correct, next visit. I shall return Yelp ready to properly get this place on the map.
