Not worth the visit any more. Our first visit was great a year ago. Since then we have visited several more times and each time the quality of the food and service gets worse. Our last visit the restaurant really wasn't that busy but it took over an hour to get our order. All we ordered was a hamburger and a salad. Also tried to order a drink and that too took 45 minutes to get. People that ordered after us got their food and drinks right away. It was also funny how the waitress kept giving excuses on why our food wasn't ready due to big ToGo orders that pushed our order to the side. Good burgers and sandwiches, friendly service and reasonable prices for the quality/quantity you receive. I had the fish and chips- nicely battered, cooked just right. My son had some huge burger which he gave a thumbs up! Both came with an abundance of crispy fries. I wish they had an "ale house" variety of brews but their offerings are really limited. Our waitress was kind to give me a sample of a beer to taste. I think it was the only beer besides bud and the other standard beers. The dining room is really small, with a limited parking lot so it can be hard to get in here sometimes but if you can, it's worth it! read more

Ale house is one of my favorite lunch spots out here in Rincon. Its so close to work so its very convenient for me to get back to work. Their food takes a while to come out but please believe it will be HOT and tasty when it gets out. I've never had a disappointing meal here. Their sandwiches come in all different ways, from chicken, to beef, gyros etc., they will have the option on a burger. I challenge anyone to finish it in one sitting because these burgers massive. I thought it was just the burgers that were big? Nope, the chicken tenders are just as huge. You want alot of food without having to sell an organ for it. This is the place to be! I havent tried their drinks yet but they have awesome drink specials from what Ive seen. They also do a burger of the month and the burgers they come up with will make you say; "yeah, that's the one". I wish we could bring more people with us for lunch but the more folks your with the longer your food will take. My husband and I visited this restaurant for dinner yesterday. It does not have a large dining area but we did not have to wait when we went around 6. When we sat down our server came over and got our drink order. Our server was extremely pleasant and very helpful. She had great recommendations and offered to bring me a sample of beer to ensure I was ordering something I liked. I ended up ordering the fish and chips because my husband ordered the rise and shine burger that I originally wanted to get. We also started with the Dynamite sticks. The Dynamite Sticks were delicious. My husband said his burger was phenomenal but extremely hard to eat. The fish and chips was really good, the fries were delicious. Where do I even begin? The 108 Ale House is one of the best kept secrets in secluded Rincon, Georgia. The appetizers are insane. I recommend the dynamite sticks-hand breaded cheese sticks filled with pepper jack instead of mozzarella. The regular entrees such as chicken tenders, salads, steaks and the like are impeccable. Where the 108 Ale House shines, however, are their burgers. Zany recipes that are almost too-big-to-eat are the standard, and served with a generous helping of French Fries. The owners lack no creativity and constantly come up with a "burger of the month" and they are always worth the trip in to the building. A full bar and a rotating beer selection will certainly wet your whistle too. read more

Service is always great and food is amazing. We have NEVER been disappointed. HUGE burgers that will more than satisfy the bottomless stomach pit of a teenager. My boyfriend and I absolutely love Ale House -- he usually gets a steak (and brags that they actually know how to cook one, and never over cook it), and I have no "usual." I don't believe I could say that I've had anything twice -- I guess I'm trying desperately to find something I don't like, and failing miserably at that. Everything I have had was wonderful -- a couple of favorites are the Hula Burger and the Rowdy Rooster. They also make their own ranch dressing, which gets an A+ from both of us. Neither of us have ever finished a meal -- we always bring half of our food home -- you definitely get your money's worth here. I tried their garlic fries for the first time last night and they were a garlic lover's dream. I chose it as a side to my Chickadee (flatbread topped with chicken, spinach, mushrooms, smoked gouda cheese, and bacon). Lots of flavor, and not something you would typically find on any restaurant menu. My boyfriend got a steak with house salad, baked potato, and green beans. I wish I had a dollar for every time he cut a bite of his steak and told me to look at how perfect it was. He also said the green beans were great -- they didn't taste at all like they were possibly out of a can. The dining area is small, but there is also a bar if that interests you while you wait. We have never had to wait long for a table, and the wait staff is quick to get your drink order and make suggestions for appetizers and describe the burger of the month. read more

The 108 Ale House is my favorite hidden gem in Rincon. It sits off the road a bit but 100% worth visiting. When you first come in the atmosphere is probably something you'd expect as a local pub setting, somewhat shabby but have a seat and it'll start to feel like home. The waitress has always been very nice and quite informative when we ask about new food to try, usually quite talkative and it's very welcoming. THE FOOD. This is without a doubt why we go to the Ale house, hands down my favorite restaurant in Rincon. The prices are great and the portions are enough to conquer the hungriest of patrons. I haven't tried everything yet but highly recommend the hula burger or fish and chips. If you've got a taste for garlic ask about upgrading to their garlic fries! read more

We sat at the Bar and service was great. I forgot the servers name but she seemed like she's worked there for a while, knew costumers by name and remembered details about them to make small talk. The building has changed from the Wisenbaker to what it is today. I have eaten there then and I have eaten back when it changed names. I have to say no one is keeping the upkeep of the building as far as I can see. The carpet is of the same from when it was the Wisenbaker. As I was eating I keep smelling the carpet and that was not a pleasant smell. Tables feel sticky and tacky. The outside need to be power wasted. On the wall is the health score of an A 100%. I did not see the date on that thought it looked new. My thought on that maybe 72% or 75%. Was there for St Patrick's day because of the menu of that day was of Corn beef Potatoes and Cabbage. So I have to say I enjoy the flavor of my plate though I feel it could have been better if it was hotter I feel it sat out till the rest of our food came out at the same time and that food was hot! I don't know why restaurants fall to ruins but I hope this one does not. I like the restaurant and staff. Very friendly and very much into St Patrick's Day. read more

My wife and I went to eat on Saturday 04/10/21. Im sure being as busy as it was you can make a mistake. I bought 2 drinks while waiting and paid for them while wait outside and then went in and sat at the bar for dinner where we bought 2 more drinks and split a reuben sandwich and dynamite sticks. The bill came and it was $48 and I left a tip. I guess I should have paid attention because he charged me twice for the drinks. Shame on me. We love the food here but this is a kick in the butt.
