ONLY if you're a trucker and, ONLY if you have NO OTHER CHOICE! Traveling through Tennessee, my daughter and I came across 101 Travel Stop. My first impression was that the 101 TS might be closed. This, because of the neglected and dilapidated signage visible from the freeway. In fact, the only thing that clued us in to 101 TS being possibly open was the illuminated gas prices. We exited and proceeded to park. I'm not trying to be overly critical or dramatic when I say this place looks like it would make the perfect setting for a Stephen King or "Tremors" movie... I'm not kidding!! Despite the outward appearance, I was excited about the prospect of finding a nifty item or travel store bargain. Instead, we discovered a disorganized slew of what struck me as a combination of a Dollar General and a thrift store. Low quality, overpriced, unkept, and simply put a hot mess! I browsed a bit at the outdated, overpriced merchandise while my daughter went potty. By the time she returned, I had experienced as much of the 101 TS as I wanted to. I even changed my mind about buying a lottery ticket! (I hope I don't regret that one!!) As we walked outside, my daughter asked if I'd used the restroom. "Here it comes, I thought!" Yup! She said the ladies restroom smelled like a mixture of pee and an overly sweet and strong air freshener! I was glad I held off using the restroom. So, do yourself AND your family a huge favor. If your eastbound and down through Tennessee on your way to Memphis, best skip this truck stop! Live well. Be well. Cheers! read more

Terrible bathrooms, worst I've ever seen on the road. Smelled awful, gas pumps were backed up. Would definitely skip this place.

This is the worst bathroom I've ever seen. I'm 5 months pregnant and I decided to hold my pee that's how terrible it was. They had had flies and maggots in both male and female restrooms and the toilet looked like they left soil in it but it wasn't soildisgusting & and they have the nerve to sell food here I would give them a 0 rating but I can't read more

customer service was great clerk was friendly, smells alittle funky and there is no hot food but he let me use the microwave to warm up some leftovers and diesel was cheaper here than others in the area read more

Great stop for locals as well as truck drivers as well they have everything you need from clothing to gives food drinks everything you want under one roof. for truckers they offer a safe place for you to park and rest without interference from anyone they offer showers at a reasonable price great local travel station read more

Just stopped, the place was under renovation. The restroom had either puke/ poop/urine or all of the above in/on all three of the women's toilets. No ice for drinks. The guy working the counter was nice, probably won't stop there again for a year or more until renovating is done. read more

Very high priced on out of date shelf products. Oftentimes out of gas, especially during critical times like when the golf areas were hit with hurricanes. Only had Premium gas available for about four weeks. VERY dirty. Restrooms disgusting! read more

Oh, thank God I found this little slice of Americana. Where to begin? Pulled in to gas up and use the facilities. You can smell the bathrooms from the parking lot. I started holding my breath a few steps into the 'store' and just picked up the pace. It didn't get much better from there. The stray bits of tp and/or handtowels on the floor make navigating the bathroom kind of fun. Like a puzzle without an answer. How can I get through here and not feel dirtier than when I entered? I kicked the stall door open, because I haven't had my shots updated and I worry about tetanus. Just to stick out in the crowd, I wash my hands. This gives me the opportunity to try to find the face of Elvis in the unwashed counter. They did have the typical junk in a 'travel station', sodas, bags of processed foods, windchimes (oh yes, they have those and lawn ornaments, if I remember correctly.) I suppose it could have been worse, my sister-in-law had to go in twice to change the baby's diaper. She was pretty excited to be going back in for more. Bravo! read more

I'm basing my review solely on the visual factor. This place is huge and full of crazy, beautifully psychedelic lawn statues. The bathrooms aren't that clean, but the buffet seems alright. I didn't eat, but my friends liked the fried chicken. read more

Store/restaurant has been recently remodeled. Overall it is very nice. Restrooms have also been remodeled but could use just a tad bit more attention on the cleaning. Parking lot for trucks is still old school gravel. read more

Inside is nice and clean- including bathrooms so that's the biggest plus besides lots of drink choices. But atleast 7/10 pumps didn't have the credit card reader working. Also I like my windows clean when I'm driving far and no squeegees to wipe down the windshield! So this place is ok. read more

I am a truck driver passing thru Tennessee and needed to use the restroom and stopped here . I like to support mom and pop shops whenever I can , so I decided to buy something to eat . This truck stop has a buffet , convenient store , vape shop , and sells trinkets and miniature statues . The waitress suggested Philly cheese steak so I got that with pinion rings and it was surprisingly good for a truck stop especially the onion rings. They were not over fried or battered. And vape juice is extremely cheap compared to southern California 3 32 ml bottles for 7 bucks . My co driver bought some and was happy . Plenty of parking and seating , they also have a big screen tv showing football . read more

The waitress was really nice. The food was terrible. I was going to get the buffet but it looked all dried out so I ordered off of the menu. The sirloin had a lot of fat on it and was not very hot. The baked potato was warm and barely melted the warm butter. The salad was ok as was the corn. I will not stop here again. read more
