Last issue was that while the room was cool.. we just didn't understand what was going on. There was the usual story at the beginning but by the end, we weren't even really sure was happening and we were just sort of doing puzzles. We finished the room with 15 minutes left, and got 3 clues and this is supposed to be one of the hardest rooms. Cool for people new to escape rooms, but escape room hobbyists will probably find these pretty simple.

I first traveled to California in 2024 with a group of 30 college student-athletes for a tournament and wanted to find a place to do some team building and found 101 Escape Rooms. I reached out and owner David was more than happy to host us, come in early to accommodate our game schedule, and provide an outstanding experience. The team returned to this tournament this year (2026) and the players who were on the 2024 trip specifically asked to go to 101 Escape Rooms again. I called David and re-introduced myself and asked if we could again bring a group of 30 to do some escape rooms. He quickly said yes, provided a group discount rate, and made the experience that weekend outstanding once again. Not only are the actual rooms custom created, unique, and unlike any other escape rooms I have seen, but the staff is great, the challenge and team building potential worked exactly as planned, and I would so highly recommend this place to anyone, whether you are just hanging with friends or traveling with a larger group. 10/10 experience!

The couple duo (Darryl and Erica) build all their props and puzzles in-house. They offer four rooms by the time I am writing this review and each room feels thoughtfully designed and distinct. Our team did three of their four rooms (the fourth room is for the kiddies) and we were blown away. As someone who travels for escape rooms, these rooms are puzzle-forward but it also is not your typical "find the code and open the lock" escape room. I wanted to shout out Skylar, who was our GM for two of the rooms we did. He was incredibly welcoming and accommodating, especially when we wanted to spend more time debriefing the experience and the puzzles we didn't get to see since we divided and conquered. He took the time to answer our questions and asked us about our escape room journey as well! That kind of care and attention really elevates the whole experience. I recommend bringing a group of 3-4. The Key of Destiny could be done by 2 experienced people but the other rooms should have 3 or more people based on the sheer volume of puzzles.

A 3 room day as we took the on "Curse of the Kraken," "The Nightmare Realm" and "The Sherlock Society." We were greeted by our game master Clarissa who is fantastic by the way. She went over the rules and gave us the story and we were on our way to adventure. We were able to take down all 3 rooms in under the time limit and they were great. Clarissa was so helpful to the group noticing when we were really stuck and offering just a slight nudge but not giving us a direct clue unless we asked. We needed a helping hand in The Nightmare Realm but we did very well on our own in the other 2 rooms. Curse of the Kraken is a small room but there is so much going on in that small space, we really enjoyed the assortment of puzzles and challenges in that room. The Nightmare Realm was our least favorite of the day but we still enjoyed it, the room has taken over where another room we previously did used to be and it has some similarities in design but all new puzzles and challenges. Sherlock Society was our favorite room of the day, we didn't need any hints in this room but still cut it close escaping at the 52 minute mark. The room is so unique and has some incredibly unique puzzles to solve, we really enjoyed every aspect of it. It was another great experience and I highly recommend all escape room lovers try out Two Trees.

The four of us were the first folks to arrive yesterday at noon for a birthday celebration escape…read moreroom adventure. While we chose the most challenging room, we were also told we would receive as many clues as we requested. We signed the releases and were given our initial instruction and a walkie talkie before entering the room. The employee aka the guide working with us told us she would be watching and could speak with us in the event we had questions . We were all excited to be able to have this experience. About 10 minutes into the first room we soon requested help via the walkie talkie. The guide gave us some oral assistance and we continued on , soon asking for help again. After what seemed like an eternity, we made it to the second room. We did our best although as we were told we again requested assistance. The walkie talkie wasn't working so we hoped the guide was watching via the cameras although she didn't appear to be paying attention to us after a bit. Communication was spotty, we didn't feel the support that was promised was happening. She finally got back to us and gave us some assistance however by then we had very little time left. We persisted and before we knew it, the voice came over the speakers and said time was up. We did ask for more time And were told we had been given 5 extra minutes. When the guide came into the room, we asked to see the rest of what we didn't get to and she obliged. We were told we were the only folks booked for the day 'although people do come last minute'. Under those circumstances we didn't understand why she wasn't more focused on our efforts and aware of our challenges. It's ok that we didn't ' escape ' although we didn't feel we received the support we were told would be available. Would we recommend or return? Probably not for us at here. This place is a better spot for folks with more experience.

Nice lockers to use for valuables during escape experience too. Also, check out their non profit offers! This is one of the best escape rooms our family has ever done! Also, huge shout out to our game master Devin, who was extremely charming and enthusiastic, and enhanced the whole experience. I have motion sickness and Ican not ride 3D/4D rides without feeling queezy. I can not watch the classic Star Wars movie because it was too shaky for me. Hell, (spoilers) i didnt even know they blew up the death star because i couldnt watch the ending of the first movie! I can't do Star Tours, soaring over the world/california, spinning rides, playing first person shooter (fps) games...get the picture? I had to try this for myself to say if I truly can or can not do VR. There are "moving" elements in this VR game that can cause motion sickness. Standing still as your surroundings move is a major part of this very immersing game! You will also be going "up/down" ramps on a flat service, so that will throw off your equilibrium. Defying virtual physics is what Dennis explained. I had my ways to gain back my center and refocus as I was playing this game. If you wear glasses, please bring them, it will help! I thought I had mine, but I forgot it. The staff will help you get calibrated with the equipment and send you on your way. At one point, my vr set started to get blurry so I had a hard time seeing the enemies, but they were big enough to see when they're "five feet" in front of you, lol. It also got blurry because sweat was starting to form around my eyes. This is going to be a very lengthy review. First off, parking is a little confusing if you're not from the area. I had to circle three times to park on the same side as this venue. There is a parking structure on the opposite side of the street. All structures give you 90 minutes free without the need of validation. Then, it can go up to $25 for the maximum structure price. The venue is like the TARDIS. It's bigger on the inside, haha. The door remains locked, but they have a ring doorbell that contains a phone number to call for someone to come open the door for you. Talk about a personal greeting! When you first walk in, you have a set of stairs. They also have a handicap lift, so they are ADA compliant! Kudos! They have a row of stationery equipment that allows you to run/walk in place and turn. They also have a two-seater ride. They have 5 seatbelts that will strap you in for safety. One for each shoulder, one for your lap, and one each for your feet. They also have an overhead bar that you pull down as if youre actually on a Rollercoaster. If you ride the Rollercoaster one, you will get sick. You will experience the motion, but you won't get the effect (wind/air) of a moving vehicle. They have a wall of lights set as an aquarium as a little seated waiting area. They suggest optimum fun and experience, 6 to 8 people in your party. That is also how many guests can play in each area. They have two areas that are meant for 8 players, their pvp area and their main floor. Get this! They have an escape room, max is 6 players! I definitely want to come back and try this one! Another area is family friendly and is great for up to 6 people as well. Dennis explained to us that the reason this place has the word "World" in this establishment is because these rooms came from all over the place! I think he said the family friendly room was from china/taiwan/japan...etc.. so that's pretty cool! They have a little area where you can host a party, but it's not secluded, it's open to the public. This venue is open to the public and walk-ins are good, but you may have to wait. Dennis mentioned some guest had to wait 2-3 hours until their turn. The guest did leave a deposit to ensure their spot in line. So they suggest to book online to set up a reservation. Each gaming area is about a 30 minute session. You will sweat because you will be moving a lot. It is a workout! Only one sad note, I wish there was more air flow in the building. Because I have motion sickness, I needed fresh air to cool me down. This was a fun experience and I do intend on coming back!
