This was the perfect spot to enjoy, Music, food, Nature, Surrounded by Hills and the Mountains and most of all Great friends. Wolfe Canyon Ranch exceeded my expectations as a wedding photographer! The ranch grounds are so beautiful - rustic while also feeling elevated! The bridal sweet was a dream to photograph inside and the saloon makes for a perfect backdrop for the groom and his guys. My couple wanted to emphasize the colorful/green areas of the ranch for their photos and we did exactly that and they turned out beautiful! We had a 1-day Commercial Shoot in mid-August and we were in dire need of a larger, residential space on a moderate budget for a NEWER Client. Anything in $10k range was a dealbreaker and would have cost us the contract. We caught lightning in a bottle when our A.P. recommended Jenelle & Wolfe Canyon Ranch. Best recommendation ever Jeremy!!! There was more than amply parking for our crew (30+), and plenty of space for 3 working Trucks & a DIT Van. The location was very well maintained and Jenelle was very approachable with the myriad of needs we had for this shoot. My husband and I got married there this past Saturday and I have to say...wow! What an experience! The venue itself is incredibly beautiful, which lends to a very minimal amount of decoration because the surroundings speak for itself. The saloon was PERFECT for the groomsmen to get ready in and get that perfect getting ready shot. I also have to say, having the farmhouse on the property to rent the night before and get ready in the day of was probably the best thing that could have happened. I woke up on the property, and was able to get ready with my girls in a beautiful farm house that was equipped with all the necessities. Our day was the best day yet and the event coordinator at Wolfe Canyon Ranch, Jenelle, goes above and beyond for her clients and is incredibly kind, down to earth, patient, and outgoing! Used this ranch as our wedding venue! The ranch itself is amazing! Little to no decor needed because the whole ranch itself is just beautiful. Prices seemed fair, and we were allowed to bring in our own vendors at no extra cost which was amazing! My only two complaints is that they charged us $900 for "security" when it was just one "security" guard who really only guided people to park and that was about all he did the whole night. Also When we scheduled our first visit at the ranch we met with Jenelle the ranch coordinated who was very nice and helpful to us that day. She is very nice, only thing was that we struggled for about 7 months communicating with her, lots of missed calls and unanswered texts. I get it, I'm sure she's busy but there were definitely times we wished should would have answered the phone or even answered our text messages. Other than those two things. Ranch/Venue is AWESOME! When my husband & I were looking for a wedding venue, every tour we went on in the area felt so impersonal. The coordinators lacked enthusiasm & interest in us as a couple, & also made everything seem like a business transaction. Every vendor was already locked in with the venues, leaving us no ability to plan our wedding freely. Then we stumbled across Wolfe Canyon Ranch, a venue that is not already contracted with the local (overpriced) catering/party companies, does NOT host multiple events in a day, & has the gorgeous outdoor setting we were looking for. We met with Jenelle for a site tour & I fell in love with not only the ranch, but Jenelle's bubbly personality as well. She was so excited for us & made us feel like we were the only couple who had ever toured the ranch for a wedding. When I realized how much work it would be to host a wedding at there since they were not contracted with local vendors, Jenelle instantly put me at ease, promised she'd help us along the way, and she did not let us down. We booked with the ranch & were looking forward to planning our dream wedding. Soon after we booked, my uncle became ill & unfortunately wedding planning took a backseat as I cared for him. About 5months before the wedding, I reached out to Jenelle in a panic to see if she still had space on her schedule to be our day of coordinator & we are so lucky she did. We would not have been able to pull this thing off had it not been for her. Truth be told, Jenelle planned more of this wedding than me or my husband did. She outlined everything I needed to decide on & then she did the rest of the work. She even went as far as to meet me at a local party rental company & spent 2+ hours of her time helping me pick out & design colors, plates, silverware, etc. What stood out to me at the party rental store was that she came to the store with a vision of what I wanted & was able to describe it to the associate, without any notes. It felt like I was shopping with my best friend. She was also incredibly professional & knew exactly how many of each item to order, ordered extra things we needed to that I wouldn't have thought of, & rattled these things off without even thinking twice about it. She always knew exactly what we needed & I always felt safe knowing we had her to help guide us through the planning process & knew nothing would be overlooked. Jenelle also helped advocate for us; she always asked me to send over contracts to her before singing them to make sure that the contracts included everything they should, but she also helped me shop around & made sure we weren't paying more than we should for services. As we started getting down to the wire, Jenelle helped DIY some stuff for the wedding, including making large directional signs, seating charts, & bar menus on chalkboards. She did all of this with such excitement & enthusiasm, & again, as if she had all of the time in the world to dedicate to making sure we had our dream wedding. Jenelle was always a text away, & if she was out being a mom (which seems like hardly ever happened) she was always quick to let me know she'd get back to me with an answer when she was back to work. When my friends commented saying they were surprised by my lack of stress given that I was planning a wedding, I always said "its because we have Jenelle!" During our rehearsal, Jenelle was able to instruct our officiant (my sister-in law) on some additional things to say to ensure the wedding went smoothly. She was also so excited for my sister in law, that it was her first time officiating, & was also so encouraging & patient with her as she practiced. On the day of our wedding, Jenelle was our hype girl cheering us on the entire day. She shuttled my disabled uncle & his walker around the property so he too could enjoy the wedding. She made sure my husband & I ate, drank, & got all of the photos we wanted across the ranch. When our DJ went off schedule, I just looked at Jenelle & she read my face (again like we had been friends for years) & she knew what to do. She was like a security blanket for the night, we just looked to her for guidance & she always knew what to do. A few other vendors had some mishaps that night, but my husband & I had no idea until after the wedding because Jenelle just took care of everything for us. Our guests commented on how organized she was & how smoothly the wedding went due to her overseeing everything. A few days later, Jenelle was hosting a public event at the ranch & our caterer was also there. My husband & I decided to swing by; Jenelle saw us & pulled us into the saloon where we shared a pizza & talked about the wedding. She mentioned that when I walked down the aisle she got emotional & teared up a little, which shows that personal/family feel the ranch offers that no other venue had. This venue is the best. It has something for any event!!! The space is big enough for any size guest count. There are multiple "venues" within the property. You have the character of a real working ranch with animals around, the saloon is breathtaking. The property has an air b n b to cap off a bride and groom's special day. Long overdue review of an incredible, unique and beautiful venue! First of all, the event coordinator Jenelle Kagay is the consummate professional and is the main reason my daughters wedding went off without a hitch. Anytime we had a question or a request, her answer was either and immediate yes, or she said she would figure it out...that I do not need to worry...and she came through every time. We always felt that we were the most important client. That being said, the venue is over 200 acres of equestrian and mountainous landscape that make for a fairytale outdoor wedding, party, event etc. our daughters wedding was outside but we also got full use of an indoor saloon as well as a charming 3 bedroom farmhouse to get ready in. During the wedding all the curious horses were neighing and poking their heads out of the prestigious stables. It was a fun and unique setting that guests could not stop raving about. We loved that we were able to bring our own food and beverages (including alcohol, beer & wine), and party rentals too. Do yourself a favor and book this venue, you will be very glad you did. We just had our wedding at this gorgeous venue! It was such an unforgettable day! The ranch is breathtaking and added so much beauty to your special day. My husband and I were looking for an outdoor space where we can bring our vision to life. At the ranch you get the intimacy and options of various locations you can choose from for your set up. They also provided us with their cozy cottage the day and night of our wedding! A struggle we were coming across other venues were the food and bar, fortunately at Wolfe Canyon they allow you to bring in your own cater and bar, which was amazing! We were able to have Armenian Bbq and open bar which our guest loved! We opted for the saloon and the open space next to it. I was able to set up a beautiful clear tent with twinkle lights that looked like the night sky while not taking away from the beautiful mountains, trees and sky. Our guest were able to access the bar and bathrooms through the saloon and our servers had great access to our guest. Jenelle and security were amazing!
