I cannot recommend Wolfe Canyon Ranch enough for a venue!!! Not only is the location perfect, but the staff is even better. I got married there this past summer (about 120 guests) and there was more than enough room for everyone. They have an Airbnb on the property that my bridesmaids and I were able to stay at the night before and get ready, and my husband and I stayed at the night of our wedding. It felt like full on vacation staying there! They have so many different areas to utilize. We had our ceremony on the grass, cocktail hour at the saloon, and reception in the pepper tree grove. Jenelle and her team really go above and beyond and make you feel like you're right at home. They drove us all over the property after the ceremony to take pictures. I wish I was better with words because I can't describe to you how perfect this venue is and how amazing Janelle and the team at WCR are. One thing I would definitely recommend doing is hiring Janelle as your day of coordinator. She is so hands on and helpful, and you can't get anyone better in the business to orchestrate your special day. Once again couldn't recommend WCR more! read more

Not only does the property speak for itself but Jenelle and Darren are an absolute dream to work with. On our wedding day my husband said Jenelle was all hands on deck, helping carry beer kegs for us! My favorite part of the day was when Jenelle drove my photographers to the top of the ranch for sunset photos. The photos we got back are unreal. What makes Wolfe Canyon Ranch even better is they offer a farmhouse to rent out. At the end of the night my husband and I just walked right over to the farmhouse and enjoyed the rest of our night. Arielle Baker is an absolute gem and an incredible trainer! I was looking for a place to introduce horseback riding to my 4 year old daughter who had expressed interest. I had reservations as my daughter is fairly reserved and hesitant with new experiences. I just spent the best afternoon at Wolfe Canyon Ranch working with trainer, Arielle Baker. I'm a beginner at horseback riding and she taught me so much in the time that we had. She really knows horses and she is very patient and enjoyable. If you want to improve your horseback riding skills, give her a call at 805-718-3836. Brandon misquoted me the monthly fee and instead of owning up to it, he became very angry (per my original review). I have never and would never expect a "free" horseback riding lesson. As a mother of a toddler, I'm constantly looking for ways to entertain my daughter, especially during these crazy times. I came across Wolfe Canyon Ranch. We took her there to ride the train and feed the animals. The train ride was about 20minutes which took us all around the beautiful ranch. The animals were so adorable especially the 8 week old goats! My daughter loved feeding the horses carrots and crackers to the goats. He's willing to listen to his new horse community, parents of kids who are avid riders, he's open to ideas and wants to make Wolfe Canyon a place everyone wants to come to whether to ride, show, get married or ride the train! He's a no nonsense guy and does NOT do drama of any kind! That's exactly what kids needs in this industry! Pam, his manager is great! knowledgeable, respected in the dressage world and accommodating (many trainers are not). This ranch is such a fun place to bring the whole family. They offer a 30 mins train ride around the ranch where you get the see the whole property, visit with the animals and see the horses. The property is beautiful and very well maintained! My husband and I brought our 3 year old daughter and 4 month daughter both loved it. We can't wait to go back!
