My horse loves both Bev and Rafi this is a low key barn with one main trainer (that i train with ) and two other trainers that have a lesser clientele. Thole farms is also amazing fyi. Bev is always professional kind and involved. Rafi is always looking after my horse (and lease) to maintained weight and ensure our horses get the fed they need and want. I've never once had a missed feeding. I've never had an issue with barn mates never had any issue here going on three years. Best barn in 50 plus miles I'd say. She starts with the basics of how to care for horses like brushing and grooming them, cleaning the face, using the correct body terms and how to saddle and tack up a horse and ready for riding. She takes safety, very seriously her no nonsense approach teaches children not only to respect an animal that weighs over 1000 pounds. But to have compassion and love for horses. Do not come to Peck Farms expecting this to be a pony ride experience, it is not. She will teach your child how to be responsible. She will teach your child how to take ownership of riding a horse from start to finish. She teaches with love and kindness and compassion, but she also wants to make sure that your child understands directions thoroughly and that they do not get hurt or hurt her horses. I've sat in on my daughter's lesson I have watched and listened, and I appreciate the respect she gives my daughter as well as the kindness and compassion. She shows her. For anyone that says differently about Mrs. Peck. I invite you to come down and actually watch a lesson.Aa few reviews I've read do not match my experience or my daughter's. Listening to a male instructor talk about how much he hated Trump and politics was so negative. I was here to have fun. I am just a young person who would like to have a good positive experience outside of my life of schooling. Lastly, I felt misled at times. The owner often made promises regarding the quality of the lessons and the state of the facility that did not hold up during my visits. This inconsistency was disheartening and left me feeling as though I could not trust the information provided. In summary, I cannot recommend Pecks based on my experience. There are many other stables that prioritize both quality instruction and a well-maintained environment, and I urge anyone considering lessons to explore those options instead. Lessons should be a joyful and enriching experience, but my time at Pecks was, unfortunately, anything but that. Owner posted a comment that I came during her husband's death. That is not true he died long before my visits. Sadly she has to use his death as an excuse.

They always fed the highest quality hay to ensure the horses were getting the best nutrition possible. The pastures were very large so the horses could freely move and run around. The barn stalls were all exceptionally large. My experience with Tugger X has been 10 out of 10! I have since moved out of California and have relocated my horses with me. On a whim, for nostalgia sake, I googled where I use to board and see a nasty review. I feel I need to address this because Tugger X never gave riding lessons nor did they have lesson horses .. ever. They were strictly a top-notch boarding facility. They have always leased out part or all of their barn to trainers. These trainers train other peoples horses and have given lessons on the persons privately owned horse in training with the trainer. Maybe the person with a gripe was dealing with one of the trainers, but not the ranch owners. These ranch/boarding facility owners are nothing short of amazing. What a wonderful experience you and your horse will have under their care. I highly recommend Tugger X Ranch!

This place has no guidelines, no rules, says one thing, delivers another. It's a mess. Cost me $7K in one month to get my mare out of there safely boarded and then re-boarded again. I was told "I should be grateful" Been around plenty, seen it all. This place is a disaster. Get ready to get f-------d! HEE HAW! YIKES! Just 5 changes later with her original contracted paddock given away, inconsistent management, all injured, sad, laid up horses, my horse brutally injured, Can't even ride the cross country jumps, reserved for out-of-towners.' Go somewhere else. Anywhere else. Great potential just no mgmt. Liars. They lie to get you in and then your horse is screwed. Sad.
