This is a large indoor trampoline park and a place my two kids have been coming to for years…read more They've come here to hang out with friends, attend parties, or simply burn off some energy while building their gymnastics skills. The facility is generally well maintained and organized, although check-in can take a little longer when it gets crowded. I can't really comment on the supervision aspect since all participants and caregivers are required to sign waivers. I can, however, share a few tips on how to get the most out of the facility. I recommend getting a season or annual pass, which offers a lot of flexibility and can save money, especially if you plan to visit regularly. It also cuts down on the need to purchase new socks each time. Try to visit during less crowded hours--early mornings on weekends and school breaks are usually a better bet. Weekday afternoons can get fairly busy. It also helps to come prepared with a plan for what your kids want to work on or accomplish. When my kids were younger than 10, I supervised them closely because some of the activities require a certain level of awareness and coordination. Accidents can happen when young children don't fully understand what they're getting into, especially when the park is busy with other kids. I've also asked the staff to pump up the air track when it was too soft, and they've always taken care of it in a timely manner. There's a small food court with comfort-food options and soft drinks, which is convenient if you're spending several hours here. Prices are also reasonable.

Oak Canyon Community Park - Beautiful day for a hike!

Years ago I visited this park. It rained back then and the pond was full and ducks were swimming,…read morefolks were picnicking, children were running around laughing. Fast forward to this day. With climate change we no longer have the usual rain, the once full pond is slowly drying up. Ducks were clustered in the area with the most water and despite the ponds low water level, I was lucky to witness an egret gobble up a little fish. The picnic tables are older now and on a this weekday morning,my friend and I had the place to ourselves. Lucky me, I thought. The trails are gorgeous this time of year. There are many trails to explore in this park. There's a lot going on here, even a fenced dog park with a side for large dogs and another for the smaller ones. While I was there, I noticed only one dog chasing a ball. Lucky dog, had the place to herself. There are several parking areas as well as a play area for kids. Can't wait to return and explore a little more!

We recently rented Pavilion A at Oak Canyon Community Park for our daughter's 4th birthday splash…read moreparty, specifically because of its proximity to the splash pad. The park itself is beautiful and clean, which is why we felt confident booking it for such an important celebration. Unfortunately, shortly after our event began, the splash pad stopped working and remained off for the duration of our rental. This was the main activity for approximately 20 children in attendance. While a park ranger attempted to assist, there was ultimately no resolution. What was especially disappointing was the lack of urgency and care from park staff. There was no real apology or effort to make the situation right. We had to go through hoops just to get someone on the phone, which was frustrating in the middle of hosting a children's party. If pavilions are being rented out for private events, you would expect someone to be readily available to assist renters when issues arise. Additionally, we were told at booking that Pavilion B was already reserved and that inflatables were only permitted in that space. However, Pavilion B remained empty the entire time. Had we known, we would have booked that pavilion or adjusted our plans to include a bounce house to make up for the loss of the splash pad. While the park grounds are well maintained, the lack of communication, unavailable amenity, and absence of real-time support made what should have been a joyful day unnecessarily stressful. I hope improvements are made so other families do not have a similar experience.

Park : #2/50 My goal…read morefor now til the end of the year is to review 50 parks. We frequent new parks and I hate when I can't find any updated photos for them so that's how I started my instagram @thatabcsquad to share. And now I'd like to contribute to Yelp as well. I have been eyeing this park for a while now and finally got the catch to venture up north! It's so beautiful and clean and very well thought out. - shaded parking structure - very clean restrooms - lots of grassy space - picnic tables that are fully covered (able to reserve) - baseball field - basketball courts - tennis/pickleball courts - bigger and smaller playground - ant hill to climb and slide - butterfly climbing structure - (pro/con) - wood chips What more could you ask for? Only downside would be the playground itself isn't very shaded so on hot days, it'll be rough! Highly recommend to check out if you're in the area! . Also very close to many shopping plazas! And the janss marketplace mall!

I had to come home from Havasu to see my babies, and I took them here for a day at the park…read more This was a lovely park, and my kids loved it right away. There's a lot of space for them to ride their scooters; the playground itself is big and beautiful with multiple slides and great flower theming. The best part, though, is the ant hill that they build into the park. My kids love it because it is a literal hill that you use cardboard boxes to slide down. This was the highlight for them, and they spent most of their time just sliding down and having a blast with cardboard boxes. I live in North Hollywood, so this was a drive, but it was worth it so that my kids could have a blast, which they did. This park is at the top of our list!

(+) Nice playground with a "grass" hill purposely built for kids to slide down on cardboard!…read more (+) Touch-a-truck event was a lot of fun. Lots to do and see. Police bomb squad truck, a crane, bobcat, backhoe, enormous tow truck, trash truck that dumped beach balls, park ranger truck, telephone pole repair truck, little choo choo train, food trucks and even a helicopter that flew in and landed for kids to check out. (+) Green grass, warm sun, and shady trees. (+) Big park, lots of space. Great for big events like the truck one. Tons of families and kids with happy faces. Fun day. (+/-) Parking can be a pain during special events like this Saturday. Some people had to park far far away by the high school. Good thing we came early and got a nearby spot in the shade.

My son has been going there for a while and he loves his swim class. However because of inexperienced instructors, after all these years we are no longer going to go with CRPD. We had some really good instructors in the past Sierra, Mark, Emma, and Luke. All great instructors. However a very bad experience with Bree and Gaven. They both left the pool without waiting for my son to take his turn on the dive boards. We had this first with Gaven and then we switched class with good instructors like Emma. she was not there on the last day. Bree was there and she did the same thing leaving my son on the dive board. My urge to CRPD is that please train swim instructors before putting them in charge of kids. My son could have gotten hurt if he would not wait and had jumped in without an instructor in the pool. We had to ask the lifeguard to ask another instructor to be there for his jump. The person in the front office assured us after the first experience this wouldn't happen again. This however is the second incident.
