The job was completed but I would say quality is lacking. They mounted a TV only but the initial mount was a foot from the ceiling so I asked them to remount at a correct height. They didn't patch the original holes or wall markings and also opened equipment (which I purchased) and didn't use meaning I couldn't return it. Was I refunded? No. And I was charged $225. We moved to a new house where the old owners had a ton of loose surround sound speakers that weren't wired anywhere and random electrical wiring all over the place. I would discourage anyone from using Joe Paxton from 1 Stop AV if the job involves any electrical work. I initially paid $650 to have a Samsung Frame TV installed with an Ethernet cable run to it. At the beginning of the job, I suggested tying into an external GFI outlet since it would eliminate any drywall repair but I didn't realize that this outlet was connected to my overhead can lights so I had to have Joe return to rewire the TV to a nearby electrical outlet so the TV wouldn't turn off every time the lights were turned off. He came the next morning and charged me another $125 since he said it wasn't his fault that the other outlet was switched but he should have checked this before using that outlet. After he finished, I noticed that some of my other electrical outlets in the room weren't working. When I called Joe he suggested a number of other possibilities as to why it wasn't working, none made sense to me since the outlets were working fine before and so he agreed to come out the next day. During the visit, he wasn't able to fix it and simply suggested that I hire an electrician. The electrician was able to fix the issue in 10 minutes and he told me the cause was a result of the poor job Joe did in making the electrical connections and didn't have anything to do with the excuses that Joe was trying to make while he was here. Joe could have fixed it while he was here but didn't take the time to do so. As such, I would not suggest using him. read more

I had an outlet and tv mount installed. When I got home from work I saw the hole in the wall left due to the outlet installation. I was charged 99 dollars for outlet install. When I called, he gave me attitude and said that it's only his job to install and not to fix that and that it's an easy fix that I should have no problem fixing it. Didn't notify me of this prior to making the hole so I'd have a choice. Tv mount install was good but I don't recommend the outlet install. read more

I purchased my sound bar bracket and TV mount from Amazon. Make sure you also purchase a needed 12ft HMDI cable from amazon for about $15 or he will charge $45 to purchase from him. He charged another 65 to install the sound bar bracket to the TV which took an additional 5 minutes, This should have been included or maybe an extra $10 at the most. He was at my house for 30 minutes and it ended up being $330 to hang one TV and I supplied the mount. The price will unexpectedly run up quickly so be mindful of that.
