I was apprehensive about ordering here because of other Yelp reviews. I ordered through Postmates around 4 PM on a Tuesday. My food arrived fast, fresh, and accurate. The shrimp were all huge. I'm not sure how they keep their prices so low. Even the shrimp in my eggroll was a good size. I will definitely order from here again.

If I could give 0 stars I would cuz this place is total CRAP !!!!! 4$ company charge!?!! Plus they forgot to cook my order after waiting 30 mins to go pick up just for them to tell me an additional 10 mins on the food the price she gave me otp was different to what i paid but ehhh they need all the money they can get until they finally get SHIT TF DOWN

After entering inside, we were seated quickly and got our waters. The interior is quite cozy and super clean. We browsed the menu and started off with egg drop soup and then ordered the Thai basil fried rice, Szechwan chicken and Kung pao chicken. The egg drop soup was pretty good but wish it was more heated up. The Thai basil fried rice was really good and loved the amount of chicken it came with. It was super flavorful and not too greasy which was nice. The Kung pao chicken was also really good and came with tons of chicken which was a nice touch. The Szechwan chicken was alright but loved that it came with so many veggies. It appears that this is a family run business and everyone was super nice and loved that the owner checked in on us multiple times. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the area and looking for a Chinese takeout spot!

But I refuse to wait again for a confirmed order. I suggested that they check their ordering system because they are going to lose business. The response was "it's only you". No "please wait, we will rush your order." Well, this only you (a loyal customer) will be finding a new restaurant to give my business to. What a shame.

The overall feel was an elegant feel. We were warm greeted by the host almost immediately. We started with the Chaat Platter (Assortment of Pani Poori (Crisp Poori Served with Chickpeas, Potato Stuffing, Mint Water, Tamarind Water, & Sweet Yogurt) * Samosa Chaat (Flavored with Indian Spices, Served with Chick Peas, Topped with Sweet Yogurt and Homemade Chutneys) * Dahi Bhalla Chaat (Lentil Dumplings, Crispy Flour Strips, Chick Peas, & Diced Potatoes Topped with Sweet Yogurt and Homemade Chutneys) * Aloo Tikki Chaat (Potato Patties Flavored with Indian Spices, Served with Chick Peas, Topped with Sweet Yogurt and Homemade Chutneys) We LOVED this platter. If I had to choose one it would be the Samosa. The platter was a 10 star for us. we also ordered the Chili Edamame, which you can't go wrong with. Absolutely delicious. For drinks my wife ordered a Lychee Martini and I got an Old Fashioned. We also ordered the Mango Lassi(A Classic Indian Mango Yogurt Drink) My wife thought her Lychee Martini was perfect. The Old Fashioned was delicious. The Mango Lassi was outstanding. We each ordered our own and we finished that first. Just tremendous drink. For the entrees we ordered two dishes Chicken Curry (A Creamy, Tangy, and Aromatic Coastal Dish made with Coconut Milk, Tamarind, Curry Leaves and a Blend of Traditional Spice with Basmati Rice) Butter Chicken (A North Indian Delicacy. Chicken cooked in a flavorful Tomato Cream Sauce with Basmati Rice) And finally Garlic and Regular Naan Both dishes had a symphony of flavor. Chicken was succulent in both dishes. My palate was singing for sure. LOVED it. All in all a great dinner, staff were nice and informative about each dish. Great experience. We will definitely return to Tabla.

We…read moregot there around 6:30 which was perfect timing because after seven the place got really busy. We choose to sit at the bar as it's open seating. my husband wanted the five spice chicken wings, and we were disappointed to learn that they've been taken off the menu. This is such a huge disappointment because that five spice dry rub was amazing. We ended up talking to the bartender and she said that they could do the lil sum sum (kids menu) wings naked and put the spice on the side. My husband chose to go that route (two order as there are only 3 wings an order) but thankfully, they actually tossed the wings in the spice, which was perfect. But we really do wish that they would bring back the actual full order of the five spice chicken wings as that was his go to when we went there and because that's not on the menu it may decrease the amount of time we go back now because he doesn't really care for a lot of the other menu items. I got the five spice green beans, which is one of my favorite items on the menu. I was surprised to hear that they had taken it off the menu for a while and that they had just brought it back. so glad that they did because that was the whole reason we had traveled out there and had they not been on the menu. There's a good chance we probably would've found somewhere else. I also had the Po Po Lau curry because it is another one of my favorite dishes.

The drink was good with some spices, but instead of a craft ice, they just used regular crushed ice, making the drink a bit watered down. For my food, they sadly no longer had the duck noodles, so I tried the CKT noodles (15 dollars) instead. They mentioned it would have a smokey flavor from the wok preparation, which I enjoyed. However, the noodles were quite chewy. The meats included shrimp, pork sausage, and chicken. The chicken and shrimp were enjoyable, but the sausage could have used a bit of a punch. I was able to get some sambal for heat, but it lacked flavor and it was a bit gritty too. At least there was an ample amount such that I could take some home for the next day. My server was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was the same. I did enjoy the audible music and crowd, making the vibe nice. I would definitely come back if the bring the duck noodles again, and maybe try another drink next time too. Overall: B-

The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar is a unique dining concept that combines two completely different…read morestyles of food: sushi and burgers. Located in CityWalk, we walked into a space that leans heavily into the idea of mixing Japanese-inspired dishes with classic American comfort food, creating a menu that feels more like an experience than a traditional restaurant. The interior has a fun, energetic atmosphere with colorful decor, making it a popular stop before or after visiting the nearby parks. The energy in the room is lively, with a mix of families, groups, and couples, and the layout includes a bar area that stays active throughout the evening. The biggest draw is the "burgushi," which combines burger and sushi elements into one dish. It sounds like a gimmick at first, but we found that some of the combinations actually work surprisingly well. The sushi options are creative, with specialty rolls and presentations that make the dishes stand out, while the burgers provide a more familiar option for anyone who is not looking for seafood. We tried a few of the specialty rolls and found them well executed, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful flavor combinations that did not rely solely on the novelty of the concept. The burgers are solid and offer a reliable backup if you are not in the mood for sushi. The menu has a good variety, so groups with different preferences can usually find something they enjoy, and the playful presentation of many dishes adds to the overall experience. Beyond the main dishes, the appetizers are also worth exploring. The crab rangoon dip is one of the more popular choices and fits well with the restaurant's style, offering a fun twist on a familiar flavor that we found enjoyable as a shared starter. The fries and shareable items make it a good place for groups, especially if you want to try multiple things instead of committing to just one entrée. The variety across the menu encourages sharing, and the portions are generous enough that ordering a few appetizers alongside the mains works well. Service can vary depending on how busy the restaurant gets, and we noticed that wait times can become longer during peak hours. Reservations are helpful, especially around park closing times when many visitors are looking for a place to eat. We arrived a bit early and found the bar area to be a good option while waiting, and the overall environment made the wait feel less inconvenient. The staff were friendly and handled the busy flow with efficiency, though the kitchen pace can slow when the restaurant is at capacity. The Cowfish Sushi Burger Bar is worth visiting for the experience and creativity behind the menu. While not every item will be something you would order repeatedly, the combination of sushi, burgers, and playful dishes makes it stand out from typical CityWalk restaurants. It is a place that works best when you go in expecting something fun and different rather than a traditional sushi or burger restaurant, and the balance of novelty and quality makes it a memorable stop during a visit to the area.

I tried a few bites and thought the beef was nice and tender and the sauce flavoring was great. I ordered a few things - mamak fries, cream cheese rangoons, and Asian bao. The rangoons were fried to perfection and the plum sauce that pairs with it is fantastic. The Asian baos were filling, fresh, and saucy. Definitely don't get the hoisin sauce on your hands or they will be stained. But great taste.
