We called to rent a dumpster and were quoted $600 for a 30 yd bin, pickup, drop-off and dump fees included. I was told I needed to give them a credit card and it would be charged directly. I was concerned about being charged and not having record of the bin dropped at the job site. Micheal assured us that they take time and date stamped photos of each drop off and pickup. We received one photo. 14 charges (of $753 ) and 2 months later I received one more photo after complaining to them and our cc company. $10,000 for 3 dumpsters in 2 months. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CC #. They think they have free reign to charge you whenever they want with no proof of anything being done. I CANNOT recommend Dump Pro after they scammed and took advantage of a small job. They (Michael) gave a $300 estimate to remove a small number of new condition items from a tiny 400 sq ft studio apartment (bed/mattress, night stand, small table/4 chars, futon and microwave oven.) and do some clean up. The unit was not very dirty with most of the work being a rug shampoo (trying to charge for 12 man hours!) When they were done they slickly upped their charge to $1060 after obviously milking the job with three workers. It's hard to imagine that a contractor in this age of Yelp would abuse and take advantage like this - but here they are: Dump Pros San Francisco. They agreed on a settlement of $850. We accepted this just to move on. They cashed the check. read more

Not a negative review....BUT: be very sure you read every single line of their extremely long contract. Be sure you know exactly what you are dumping and if it they would consider it 'hazardous materials' (like a 35 year old redwood fence). Anything considered hazardous will be up-charged, but it IS in the contract. Be sure you understand that even 5# over the tonnage will be charged a full $149 for overage...again though it IS in the contract.... an example would be an overage 80# would translate to roughly $2.25, but you will be charged the full $149. Be aware that they will automatically bill your credit card for anything in the contract (you read it, right?) they deem billable over the initial amount agreed upon, and you will have dispute the charge and block them from charging again. Be sure to check your invoice, their accounts receivable and bookkeeping is questionable at best. Be aware that their pickup is not automatically a week later no matter what they tell you, it is when you call for pickup...and even then they may not show when they say they will and it may be days later that the dumpster is removed. Not good if it blocks anything you wish to move while waiting. Be aware that if a price anywhere for anything is far below their competition...there is a reason. Again, this is not a negative review, not allowed per the contract, but just a general heads up if you choose to go with this company. Wish I had read the reviews first!! read more

READ THIS!!!!! Do Not Hire This Company! Unless you need problems in your life. Where do I start... I called to rent a dumpster on 9/17, they dropped off the dumpster on 9/19. My CC was charged the FULL amount on 9/18, which is a day before service even started. Less than a week after they picked up the dumpster the owner Antonella calls me and texts me that my card has been declined and they will start the mechanical lien process. I called her and tried to see where the issue was, cause my CC statement clearly shows payment has posted on 9/18!!!! She calls and says that the mistake was on their end...Done! No,,this lady has been sending lien notices to my former landlord with the threats of a lien on her home twice after she realized that she's been paid. So yes I was upset and I called her and this lady is so unprofessional!!!!! That I refuse to speak to her and will only have contact via email/text! She's still harassing my former landlords till today and the full amount owed to the company has been paid! This company is a SCAM and will do anything to abuse the system and get extra money out of you. Just avoid any business with Antonella and her company! Also, she hasn't responded to any of my messages and is still sending charges to my previous landlord who has nothing to do with this transaction. read more

When the annual free City of Oakland hauling doesn't cut it, I call Dump Pro. I often don't have the time, tools, or wherewithal to bring everything to the curb and package it just the way the city likes it. If I don't have the wherewithal for that, you can imagine how much wherewithal I have left for bringing stuff to the waste transfer station myself. (Hint: none) The Dump Pro prices are so reasonable that it's worth my time and money not to do it myself. Michael is professional, attentive, and kind. He responds to phone calls and e-mails quickly. He doesn't mind when I say I have no idea how much trash I need hauled away. Seriously, 5/6 of a load may as well be 155 cubic cats to me. When I first started using his services, he came to do an estimate. However, after that, he just came over with his crew, took the trash, and gave me the price. He kept good records of how much of a load I produced in the past, so he was able to give me a price and time range. Also, the prices are listed on the website so there's no sneakiness. Not only did his crew take everything away, they were able to extricate some large pieces that I couldn't pull out myself. Michael's sharp eyes even found some junk that I had forgotten to ask him to take, which was a relief. (It's that feeling you have when you find that extra sock on the way back from the washing machine and you have time to throw it in instead of having to save it for the next wash--BUT BETTER.) When Michael's crew was finished, they swept everything up and left it clean! Michael is like a backwards Santa Claus that takes everything bad away. That, in some ways, is better than getting a Christmas present because, seriously, do you really need any more crap sitting around your house? No, you don't. Call him and enjoy Backwards Christmas year round! I'm really enamored with his ability to fit that truck into our driveway. He should get an extra star just for that. read more

I just want to say these guys are AMAZING!!!! My grandmothers house in San Francisco was broken into. According to the police there were squatters living in the house for over a month. Long story story short the house and furniture was trashed and I needed somebody that could help me clean out the place. In addition to the house and furniture the backyard was also a mess. The fence was broken where some of the people escaped the police, there was an over grown tree, there were more weeds then you could possibly imagine, and worst or all the back yard had been used as a restroom. Needless to say the house and yard needed some serious attention. I called them on Monday morning and they were able to come out the same day (the other place I called couldn't come out until Tuesday night). They had to sit in horrible traffic to reach the house and yet they still came and when they got there they got right to work. Four guys and a huge truck came to haul away the problems and the stuff away! It took four guys about 5 hours to completely empty my grandma's house. They cleaned up the backyard; trimmed the tree back, removed a LOT of weeds (I had forgotten there was cement that went around the backyard...when they were done it was a new backyard), and they were able to fix the fence for me. Anytime I asked them to do something they answer was always, "We can do that no problem." Those are they best words you can possibly here when you just need to get stuff done. As for the house they were able to clear out ALL the furniture for me. A feat in itself. When the couch was originally brought into the house the front window had to be taken out to get it in the house. They had it out in 5 minutes. They were able to take the dishwasher and washer and dryer for me. Even cleaned up the kitchen when the dishwasher had an unfortunate incident that I will not go into. The house and yard were transformed in 5 hours. These guys did an truly amazing job in an amazingly short amount of time. And the prices were way reasonable. I had another crew that came into clean out the trash in the house that the squatters had left, they charged me double the price these guys did for about a quarter of the work. I wished I had called these guys for the whole job. The whole crew were friendly, did amazing work, and did it quickly. They did an amazing job and made a really difficult time easy and painless for me. I would give then many more stars if I could, since I can't my eternal gratitude will have to do. read more

You cannot believe how easy it was to have our yard cleared of junk and debris! These guys were better than fantastic. They came on time, and scurried around our entire yard, picking up and cleaning the areas where they removed unwanted "stuff". They piled it all into their nice big trailer....then off they went. Our yard looks super now, and all we had to do was tell them what to do. They were courteous and friendly to boot! I had previously looked around to rent a dumpster, but after finding the Dump Pro, I don't think I'll ever get a regular dumpster again. I understand that if you want, they will leave a trailer at your property for you to fill on your own....and then come to pick it up when you're done, but the way we did it today was so much better for us. This company came out the next day at agreed time and did the job for a lower price than anyone else quoted down to. They were super efficient and courteous. Would use them again. read more

The delinquent company is Investment Enterprises USA , Inc. - San Ramon, CA. We are owed $ 2,391.40 with a small $ 500 amount paid to us 6 Months ago !!! We Were Ripped Off ! AVOID, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! They charged me an extra $250 without warning or any sort of documentation for 'overfilling' the dumpster. This after I had received approval from the driver who picked up the trailer and even helped him inflate the flat tire in my driveway (note it is not a 'dumpster', it is a barely road-legal trailer with doors that take serious effort to close properly). I provided photos and requested the charges be reversed, they said they'd provide proof of the overweight load and get back to me (no way I put 9 tons in that POS trailer, as they claimed). 2 weeks later, multiple phone-calls and emails, no proof and no refund. I called my credit card company, contested the charge, they investigated, agreed and refunded me for the overcharge (not the original fee, which I paid and never contested). THEN, a few weeks go by, and I note on my credit card bill ANOTHER CHARGE!! This time for $375! Whoa. Called my credit card company, and this time the Better Business Bureau, and per their advice I've opened a police inquiry for credit card fraud. Seriously, bad idea guys. read more

1877DumpPro does some shady business. I was a customer of theirs for 1 hour. I made a reservation for them to drop of a debris bin to my rental property. An hour later I called back to cancelled their service, found a company with a cheaper quote. Therefore I called back and talk to Michael and told him to cancel the service. Now several months later I disputed a charge against 1877 Dump Pro, because I received a charge for their service in the amount of $425. I was shock. I did not even hire them for their service cause why I called back and cancel. I even got the letter from 1877 Dump Pro from executive director Michael saying he drop of a debris bin, and it got filled up and they hauled it away with debris in it. I am frustrated how can that be, cause I hired a different company to removed the debris and I was there to watch them take it away. Yet Michael said he has a debris bin filled, he said hogwash that I wanted to commit fraud. R u kidding me ?! I don't need to fraud your business, if I know I used u, and you did pick up my debris I would be happy to pay it. But you did not, cause I cancelled your service, and you rushed me off the phone saying it will be done. The letter that was sent to me from my credit card company that Michael submitted to them was very insulting to me, saying that I am a liar. I have never been in this situation with any business, this is totally shady business, and I want to let people know that there are better more honest debris removal companies you can use. I would tell others to stay away from 1877 Dump Pro. ps. if I can I would love to give this shady business 0 star ... but Yelp isn't allowed me to ... So you do have the 1 star !!! read more

I requested for pick it and haul away tons of junk. My window was from 10-12. I didn't hear anything so I called at 12:30pm, and the hauler explained they were running late and wouldn't come till later. He did apologize for no call. Once they did come they did a terrific job. However they couldn't fit it all in there trailer . The trailer is really large, but I had a lot to haul away. So, he agreed to come back the next day at 2pm. By 3pm no show or call. I had to call them to make sure they were coming back for the rest. They said yes, at 4-4:30. They finally showed up at 7:30pm and didn't finish till 9pm. Bottom line: Nice Guys Great workers lack of communication Not punctual Price is average, not cheap if you full the whole trailer as I did twice... read more

I had an excellent 5-star experience with DUMP PRO. I called them on a Sunday morning and they scheduled an appointment the same day just 3 hours later. After explaining the amount of items via phone, they gave me already an estimated quote range via phone and after arriving onsite, the final price stayed within that quote range. Their prices are highly competitive and much better than other bigger junk removal companies in the bay area. The work was done in ~20 minutes and the staff was very nice all the time. do not do business with this company. business ethics are a serious problem as follows: 1. i asked for a dumpster, he recommended a 20 yard dumpster after i showed him the pictures. (because he did not want to come). he brought me a trailer and not a dumpster. 2. after seeing the pictures of what i was going to load the dumpster with, he said it was going to be $425.00 he charged me $860.00 more than double the price he originally said. 3. he did not even called me to let me know he was going to charge me more than double. he just went and did it. i have submitted a claim with the bank, i hope things get resolved but i would never recommend this company what so ever. i hope you understand this is not the first review this guy has regarding this issues. walter. read more

I just had the most amazing customer service from this company. They met me at my old house and helped me get rid of the last of the stuff I could not get to. They brought a few things to my new home and took some garbage from here. I had to short sale my house so what could have been an emotional day, was actually very pleasant and it is a HUGE relief. I can not express how nice these people were. Polite, helpful, professional and reasonable for what they did. It just such a rarity these days to have people who want to go above and beyond.
