After all my materials were gone I still had a big mess to clean up in order to leave it as it once was over 25 years ago. Ron was quick to come by and give me a quote & also quick to put me on his schedule. His crew did a fantastic and thorough job. Ron was there the whole time which shows he cares enough to see the job through. While he was there I remembered some boxes that were upstairs inside the building and asked him if his crew could remove the boxes and also use a backpack blower to clean out the warehouse floor. Ron's Hauling was the first sub-contractor we used on a large residential construction project. They were unreliable (they did not show up when scheduled, showed up when they weren't scheduled, did not answer the phone, etc.), unskilled (their tractor driver told us he had not driven a tractor before), and unsupervised (Ron only showed up at lunchtime to bring his guys lunch. The rest of the day it was three of four guys just walking around breaking everything they could find that would break - including many things - like spa equipment, roof tiles, etc. that had specifically been set aside for reuse). It appeared as if they thought there job was to destroy everything in site. They also appeared to think that our project was a place where they could keep anything they found and might be useful somewhere else (they hauled away dirt that they was supposed to stay for use on Ron's property, etc.) They use giant trucks that, when loaded, are overweight for residential driveways and therefore badly cracked the driveway and crushed the underlying sewer and water pipes. They was no "silver lining.' You should not use Ron's Hauling. read more

They took all of the construction debris and emailed us the tags for Green Halo. They also moved dirt for us using a Bobcat, took away some old fencing and even cleaned the area before they left. We later hired him to drop off some base rock for us. Anything you need taken down or hauled away, Ron seems able to beat everyone else's price and the work is always done very quickly and very well. Ron has a truck he told me is 25 cubic yards, and he really filled it up for us. It is much larger than the ones I've seen from other haulers. He told me he prorates if you don't fill it up, but that wasn't an issue for us. He and his worker were careful to check about what should and shouldn't go. The service was prompt and efficient. I have a large pile of construction debris that needs to be hauled off. After reading reviews and browsing their website I figured that Ron's Hauling would be the best place to go. A year ago I tried getting them out to give me an estimate. I called early in the week for a Friday visit. Friday comes and goes with no call and no show. I brushed it off as a simple mix-up and I added more to the pile after that anyway. Fast forward to now. I call on a Tuesday for a Friday visit. He says to just call back on Friday, so I do. He says he'll be in Livermore in the afternoon and to text him my address and such and he'll get back to me when he's on his way. The only phone number they list comes up 'invalid' when I try to text, I assume it's a land line that forwards to a cell. So I call back and there's no answer so I leave a message with all the info. By 4:30pm there has been no call no show so I call again and have to leave another message, still no call no show. read more

Ron has hauled at least four construction debris truck loads for us. His hauling price is reasonable. It is very expensive and labor intensive to make trips to the dump with a pick-up. Ron's guys come out with a bobcat pick up the debris and sweep up afterwards. All I do is text Ron a picture of my debris pile and he sends me a quote.
