This salon responded promptly to my request, and after reading their Yelp reviews, I decided to book an appointment and was suggested Stylist Alicia. On the day of my appointment, she took the time to understand my hair's condition and the type of dye previously used. I showed her a picture to explain the color I wanted, and by the end, she was able to achieve it perfectly. Alicia does an amazing job and made me feel confident about my hair's look! The swelling and marks were very upsetting, uncomfortable, and not something I was properly warned about beforehand. Instead of taking my concerns seriously, the facialist kept insisting that it would "be okay after 3 days." When I explained that I was unhappy with the service and uncomfortable with the condition of my face, she completely refused to issue a refund and kept saying that I "didn't have any reaction to the products." Even after the salon manager spoke with her and suggested that she process a refund, she still refused. While the salon manager was polite and understanding during our conversation, in reality he did very little to help resolve the situation. He told me that the he can speak with her and ask for refund but that depends on her! What disappointed me even more was that at the end of the conversation, instead of focusing on the harm done to me, the manager asked me not to leave a negative review because it would hurt his business. I found that very unprofessional and upsetting. A business should care more about resolving serious customer concerns than protecting its online reputation. As a paying customer, I believe I have every right to speak up when a treatment causes this kind of reaction and is handled so poorly afterward. Instead of empathy, accountability, or professionalism, I was ignored.

At the time her studio was just down the street from me in Walnut Creek. Little did I know that I would have amazing hair transformations time after time, AND a lightweight therapist LOL. Since then I've followed Krystelle to her salon(s) in Danville and will certainly continue to her new salon in Alamo. Why?? Well my hair in itself gets SO many compliments. But beyond looking fabulous, Krystelle is so patient and so kind. Sometimes I go in with specific and odd requests, sometimes I have no idea what I want and I just entrust her to do whatever. In either situation, she listens to my needs, my curiosities, all of my random thoughts. She is also an EDUCATOR. She takes the time to tell me why certain things could work/ wouldn't work, and why. I've messaged her several times and haven't gotten a reply. I wish I would have looked at her pictures closely she does everyone hair the same way and can see how grey and white their hair looks and most of her pictures don't look like a balayage which she claims to be a pro at.
