I requested an appointment and never received a confirmation. I called the number listed and never heard back. I sent two emails and never heard back. I sent a message on instagram and finally got a response. She said my appointment was confirmed. I told her a little about what I wanted and asked if a trial wash and go or a curl lesson was a better fit. I didn't know if each had a different time slot, I wanted my first visit to be longer so we could get a feel for each other and I wanted to be considerate of her time. Then she said she cancelled my appointment and would book a different date to meet my needs. Then she stopped responding. I told her I have surgery coming up so I wanted to book asap for end of November/ December. Then she told me to find somewhere else to go. "If it's this extensive just booking a wash and go I'm not comfortable taking you on as a guest." Which is ridiculous considering we had already booked an appointment and the only reason it was dragged out was her unresponsive, flakey attitude. While I did not get any services from this stylist, I think her handling of this situation shows that she is unlikely to have any respect or regard for your curly hair aspirations. read more

Denae goes above and beyond her job. I am 33 years old and I've struggled with my hair my entire life. Every time I went to get it cut, it looked awful after. Nobody knew how to style it.
