Showstopping açaí bowls in Ka'paa! I absolutely loved the sunkissed lilikoi (açaí bowl with fresh fruit and passion fruit mousse). My husband said Da westsider was exceptional as well. My husband and I learned the hard way that ïwaca'i is only open until the shop sells out for the day, so come early!
This is the only acai bowl I tried in Kauai! Keiki size is $8. Regular size is $16. My mom and I each got a regular size and it was super filling. It felt like a full meal honestly. We probably could've split one. I ordered da westsider and she ordered monkey business. The staff is super friendly and explained how their bowls are Brazilian style. When you get to the bottom of the bowl, there's also protein powder. I personally like a slightly sweeter acai base and I wish there were more fruit toppings. I also love to mix bases in my acai bowls but this place just has classic acai. Monkey business has a good amount of protein with the peanut butter and protein powder at the bottom. There are picnic benches to sit and eat outside.
Pure açaí goodness!! They use locally sourced açaí as well as açaí sourced from California. It was one of the best acai bowls on the island and definitely worth a try! We got the Monkey Business except without the powder cream (whey protein) and milk chocolate chips since I'm lactose intolerant. The fruit toppings were very fresh and flavorful, and they did not skimp on the peanut butter. The guy working (owner?) was also super friendly and informative. It is located in a small lot with other food trucks, like Shakalafel which is also worth a visit. There was plenty of patio seating available outside. Street parking may be limited and hard to find. I would definitely go back to try their other menu options

Every week my mood takes a moon trip with Renato's perfectly consistent, best-in-class açaí, and Audrey's infectious smile and captivating personality. What a win. What a pleasurable experience-- for the mouth and for the spirit.

He didn't have to do that, I would have waited but I thought it was cool that he did. The girl who helped me helped me choose a bowl that wasn't too sweet since that's what I asked for. Man this might be the best bowl I've ever had. Not too sweet Acai puree, fresh fruit, protein powder on the bottom?!? Owner even came out when I was about done to make sure I liked it and apologized for being in the phone. He didn't have to. Great experience. Praying blessings on this place and those who own it.

Super yummy açaí bowl. The acai itself is creamy but also a little icy which I really like. They have passion fruit cream and other fruits that pairs well with the açaí. They also have cream powder on the bottom with was very interesting. They staff is very friendly. They prepare each bowl to order so there is a little of wait but not long. It is a cart so it casual and tables outside to site and enjoy with the company of the wild chickens. read more

Hands down, the BEST acai bowl I have ever had! I'm from California so acai bowls are everywhere and I THOUGHT I had experienced so pretty good ones before. I was pleasantly mistaken. I got the Sunkissed Lilikoi Bowl and I haven't stopped talking about it to anyone that will listen. The passionfruit mousse on top was out of this world and unlike anything I've ever tasted. Actually just had a random craving come up today & decided to follow through. This was my first time making a purchase & it did NOT disappoint! The owner was super friendly & accommodating; I told him jokingly that this was a belated birthday treat - my birthday was May 1st - & decided to stop by, since I didn't actually have anything for my birthday treat-wise. Full transparency... I can't remember the last time I've had an açaí bowl, but this was very unique & I loved the creamy topping, with the branded cookie on top! If you're wondering where exactly this place is, it's in the little food truck enclave that also houses Anatta's Thai & Shakalafel. The flow of foot traffic wasn't too heavy for a first Saturday after 5pm either. Very chill & quiet, which I like. I'll definitely be back to try the other flavors! read more
