    Dole whip

Nothing better on a sunny day than a refreshing and delicious dole whip . It was a bit dripping right away and this is something that will be messy as a heads up . But incredibly delicious . Located in a parking lot that's hella busy with tourist .

After a long Beach day we stopped by here for a quick refreshment. The staff was super friendly and helped us decide what to order. I got a simple coconut banana smoothie which wasn't on the menu but the staff said they could make it for me. My husband got the banana coconut and mango smoothie. Our order came out super quick and we loved it! Not sure why the reviews aren't that great but we'd love to stop by here again it's the perfect place to get a nice refreshing drink!

8/10 - good service and good vibes brought it up from a 7.5 - acai bowl with mango 7/10: acai was all melty, not very many toppings. it's mixed with apple juice so kinda just tasted like apple juice... nothing special - dole whip swirl 8.5/10: kinda fire. some bites were too much cream to pineapple ratio but the parts with more pineapple were perfection!

Been going to this place ever since i was a kid with family, and I got to take my bf here on our most recent trip, and he raved about it. He ordered the #1 twice, it was THAT good. Service is quick, and smoothie is so fresh, the views from the parking lot is also a plus.

    24oz Leilani with Dole Whip - $18.50

While visiting the Hanalei area, we were looking for a refreshing smoothie after lunch, and Aloha Juice Bar popped up as an option that fill everything that we were looking for! We have paid Aloha Juice Bar two visits during our stay, and I was able to try a couple of different options. The juice is located in an open lot area, with the menu to the left of the restaurant and when you have decided what you would like, the cash register just to the right of the menu. Service is fast - based on my two visits, you will get your order about 3-5 minutes after ordering. I got the 24oz Leilani ($14.50) smoothie bowl on my first visit and the 16oz Hanalei green ($10) on my second visit. Personally, I think that the 16oz size is already pretty sizeable for most people. The 24oz one is probably better to share between 2-3 people. The Leilani one included mango, passion fruit, papaya, banana, and then topped with sliced banana, granola, and a drizzle of honey. I also got some of the Dole whip ($4) soft serve on top since I wanted to sample as much as I could in 1 order. The smoothie bowl is pretty fresh! A super welcoming coolness in the warm Hawaiian humid heat. You can taste a bit of each fruit included in the smoothie, with the papaya coming forward a bit more than the other fruits. The texture with the granola is great - crunchy texture with the banana completing every bite. The dole whip is nice - it's not a watered down soft serve and there is a hint of pineapple. I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about. Yes, the bowls can range from $10 - $15, but they are big hearty bowls of fruit smoothies! I think when visiting Hanalei, you need to keep in mind that pretty much every restaurant/store in the area offers food at a higher markup. I think that Aloha Juice Bar was definitely a refreshing healthy option in the Hanalei area, where most of the other food is indulgent and will make you feel like you just want something to cleanse your body afterwards. I would definitely recommend the $10 16oz smoothie bowls as they are the perfect size for the amount of fruit you get - feel free to give this juice bar a try when you're in the area!

We wanted to try this place but it was never open when we were in the area. Finally we saw it open, long line but moved fairly quickly. Pretty pricing for a small cup of dole and there's a gaping hole in the middle where they swirled it around the cup so definitely got less than that cup full. It was good but we decided not to go back again. Custom service was friendly though.

Had the dole whip which was very basic in flavor. You can add toppings for $2 each but the ice cream itself lacked that pineapple kick. Would not recommend.

Dole whip! Yes! Food stand in the parking lot of a little shopping center with dole whip, lemonade and smoothies. Dole whip was refreshing after a morning at the beach. No good place to eat though unless you are exploring other shops then there might be seating across the street.

good smoothie bowls but pretty overpriced. I got the hanalei green one, but it melted super fast and became liquidy and not so appetizing. overall was refreshing but probably wouldn't come back to get it. not extremely unique or amazing.

I was totally enticed into walking here and ordering by so many different things. Whatever ALOHA JUICE BAR did, it worked! First, the colorful shack close to the street. You can't miss it! But it's still in the Ching Young Shopping Center parking lot, so we wouldn't have to risk life and limb, nor annoy other motorists, just to pull over and grab some snacks from here! Also, there was a giant sign that says "Dole Whip". Who could say mo to a frozen pineapple treat in the middle of summer in Hawaii? Also, the dole whip was served on a half-papaya! So we're getting two tropical fruits in one treat! The servers are very fast. Not island time at all. They're so fast that when we got our order, my dole whip was still perfectly frosted. It took me more time to fumble through the payment and the camera for photos than for them to make my order. It's a shack, so there is no indoor seating. There is a bench for the seniors and kids to rest on, but this treat is best enjoyed outside, in the fresh Hawaiian air, under the blue sky with fluffy clouds.

Try w prices are kind of absurd, but it's a complete tourist area and the juice is fresh, so it is what it is. Even a juice takes 5-10 minutes when they have other orders, so it seems like they're juicing it fresh. The pineapple lemonade was very refreshing, a little bit tart. They don't load it up with a ton of ice, which is a nice bonus. The drinks at the Mediterranean place are lacking, but I combined food from there with my lemonade and it was a nice lunch.

It was a very warm day and we were looking for a little treat to cool us off. I ordered the #7 smoothie which contained pineapple, mango, guava, and passion fruit. The smoothie was fantastic and it was perfect for the weather. I would definitely come back for another!

I later used the lechon to make a sandwich using Midnight Bear sourdough bread, a ripe avocado purchased that day from the Kauai Community Market, the tomato and onion that came with the lechon, and drenched it all in the sauce provided. Paradise!

The owner, Daniel, was out front in his yard in a little shack, he offered us a sample of the mango bread to try before buying and we bought a loaf for $10. It was wrapped in a metal tin and pretty cellophane, which was great for traveling. He recommended that we heat it up a little in the toaster oven and that is exactly what we did - so good! He also said his grandkids like to put ice cream on it lol I am sure that is good but we won't be trying it that way. It is so sweet and moist you really do not need to add anything to it. He had pickled mango and leis for sale as well, but I do not believe there were any other products available. I recommend going fairly early as he only had 5 loaves left when we arrived around 11:30am. Keep an eye out for the beautiful geese on his property as well!
