Quite literally the best açaí bowl we've ever had! My wife and I happened to stop in on our second day on Kauai and we ended up going back 3 more times. The açaí blend is so smooth and creamy and there are so many fresh add ons available. I made a different blend every time we went and they were all excellent. I also had a protein smoothie which was equally delicious. If you are anywhere on the island it's worth the drive and if you are visiting Waimea Canyon it's right on the main road just a block or two before you turn into the park. read more

Good variety - Protein options - Quick service G's is a must! For those who just got done hiking Waimea canyon, this is a great spot to get a smoothie after a long hike. We ordered two hula girls and added kale, they were flavorful and fresh. Ready in five minutes. They also have açaí bowls that look delicious and have protein additions to smoothies. Make sure to add a sticker to their around the world map! read more

There are lots of places to try great açaí bowls in Kauai, but G's Juicebar should be a definite go-to on your list! It's a little out of the way and mostly convenient if you're in Waimea or visiting Waimea Canyon for the day. On the south side, I would say G's Juicebar has the best açaí bowl. I am quite picky with my açaí bowls, though. The base has to be as pure açaí as it can get. As in, no extra add ins, especially those with added sugars (apple juice). This place came really close with the Rambla bowl. Consistency of the base was really good, and the toppings were very fresh! Love that the crushed almonds gave a nice crunchy texture. I'll start doing that at home, since I often make my own bowls! The ambiance was ok, not the most aesthetic spot to hang out; I sat outside and ate; didn't stay too long. read more

G's is decent Acai. The flavor is good. I got the Butter Boy and my wife got the Rambla with peanut butter on top. The Butter Boy is supposed to be peanut buttery in the base, which you can taste subtly. The Rambla has cacao in its base but that was harder to taste. The bummer about these bowls were the lack of toppings. I think the only fruit on top were bananas, with some granola and seeds. Felt like some more fruit would've been nice, especially since the bowls aren't exactly cheap. After hiking in Waimea this was a good spot to go to for sure! Very nice to get something refreshing from being out in the sun. read more

Been here 5 times during my visit to Waimea. Got 2 other couples hooked. Compared G's against Wishing Well Coffee's bowls and Waimea Juice Co and G's was the best. The consistency of the açaí is thick and creamy. The other two was icy. Hands down Gs is the best. I would go back to Kauai just for G's açaí bowls. Tried making my own like G's and it's not the same. Had butter boy every single time I went there. His joint was the only one that offered a protein addition (whey or plant). read more

Aloha! These açaí bowl are by far my favorite ever! A lot of açaí bowls are grainy or frozen like, but this one is so creamy and delicious! This açaí is mixed with Mango juice which makes the perfectly sweet and smooth! I 100% recommended this place and the Kauai Bowl. You get a great value for your money and you also get to support a local family (she is a mom and runs the business). Go and try it out! read more

Great find in a relatively sleepy town. Açaí bowls and smoothies were fantastic. Worth a stop on your way to/from the canyon. If staying nearby, it seems to be one of the few options for fresh and healthy food. Don't be turned off by the storefront - the interior is clean and G runs a lovely shop. read more

Wow. Just wow. This was the best açaí bowl on the whole island. The menu was vast and had a ton of choices. It was also very aesthetic. The atmosphere was amazing too. Aloha! We are a little juice bar that is family owned and operated. We have been in our new location which is next to the Waimea Theater on the Main Highway since May 9th, 2015. We are proud to be here and to be of service! Mahalo!

Meet the Business Owner: Garren and Georgie M.

Born and raised on Kauai in Hanapepe. Joined the Air Force after graduating high school. Got Crohns Disease while in the Air Force. Got medically discharged in 2011. Opened G's Juicebar in December of 2013. Wanted to make a difference on the West Side of Kauai when I realized there weren't many healthy options.
