We had initially reserved Grand Salon for our dinner reservation. It wasn't until we arrived that…read morewe realized Grand Salon was basically Walt's Cafe, but in the lobby, which is literally right outside Walt's Cafe. The menu was also incredibly similar, and we were then told that they share a kitchen.
I wanted the fries on the Grand Salon menu, but other food on the Walt's Cafe menu so we asked if we could do that. They went to their manager to ask and she reluctantly allowed us to do that. Major regrets because the food was incredibly mediocre. This was dinner. I ordered french onion soup (meh), fries (good), and the salmon dish (absolutely terrible). The salmon was supposed to be grilled and the scallops were supposed to be seared, but it all just tasted flavorless and cold.
The next morning we were desperate for breakfast, so we willingly came back to Walt's Cafe. Dumb of us, I know. Luckily, the breakfast was much better, compared to the dinner the night prior. Still expensive and small portioned, but tasty enough for the convenience.
Out of convenience, I would come back for the breakfast, but not the dinner menu.
